Just like most people recently, I also bought some 327 shoes and just like others my parcel also had issues. I did contact NB who a lady named El was able to resolve the matter for me and kept me in loop. The issue in this case is caused more by UPS than NB. Shame NB are getting a bad rep from mistakes from UPS though.

After using new balance many times before I’ve never had an issue. This time I decided to get my parcel delivered to a new Yeep! Locker around the corner from me.

Let me tell you these lockers are absolutely useless and you only need to read the reviews of Yeep to know you’re going to have problems. I expected NB to work to resolve this as quickly as they could and keep me informed. Instead I’ve been met with incompetence, defensiveness and an absolute refusal to do anything. The only saving grace is I paid via PayPal so will just raise a charge back but this will take 30 days!

If you want to save yourself the aggro DO NOT buy from New Balance!

Ordered 327 trainers on 02/11/25, UPS ‘lost’ them on 04/11/25 and I’ve had poor responses and still no refund over a month from making my initial purchase. New Balance are now waiting for UPS to investigate even though I’ve had emails from them stating they have approved the claim. I’ve always been a loyal New Balance customer but I will now be taking my custom elsewhere. I wish I’d read all these reviews before purchasing direct with New Balance.

I bought a pair of New Balance 530 Trainers in September. After about a month of wear the sole had completely come out of one shoe, however I was prepared to let this slide as a minor mistake on behalf of the manufacturers. Since this initial fault, the other shoe now has a hole wearing through in the back. Considering the price point, advertised quality and that this pair is almost solely worn indoors I am extremely surprised by the extent of the faults. Although it probably goes unsaid, I don't have a habit of wrecking shoes that have cost me around £100 and have taken good care of this product. I am extremely disappointed with manufacturing quality of the shoes. Considering the marketing, price, and supposed quality of these shoes I would expect some form of service to repair the damages, this has so far not been offered.

My partner just purchased me a pair of trainers for £160,they were delivered by Ups but left outside as we weren't in. She received a email from new balance to say they were delivered but showed a picture of the outside of the house with trainers left by the front door. When we arrived home the box was not there so we checked with neighbours to see if anyone had taken the parcel in for safe keeping but to no avail. We contacted new balance to report the parcel as missing. They said they will contact Ups and start an investigation. They did this and the courier said they were delivered to a safe place (outside my house) and as far as they were concerned and they closed the case.
New Balance then did the same after about 10 days of waiting for a refund or replacement. So as of now we are £160 down. We've contacted our bank and they are dealing with it now, but beware of buying of new balance as they were so unhelpful in dealing with this issue. stayed in all day waiting for delivery - courier then falsely claimed to have attempted delivery when they hadn't. Customer service at New Balance worse than useless - loads of platitudes but nothing to right the wrong

Their customer service team has a fundamental lack of awareness of consumer law. Over 10 emails back and forth of them ignoring my entitlement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for a straightforward dispute. I’m looking to escalate this to trading standards as the service is beyond shocking.

I used to love NB shoes but having returned to them recently they aren’t the shoes I remember - very narrow and just not as well made. All that said the returns process sounded simple, but unfortunately was not. UPS were quick to deliver but having received my unwanted shoes I was directed to a YEEP locker (just round the corner great I thought) not great there were 3 barcodes and one QR code on my returns label and none of them worked (YEEP review scores are low I discovered for a reason) In the end I was directed to a UPS handover store by the very helpful Christian on live chat. I’m sorry but I won’t be ordering online with NB again. The two stars are for the very speedy delivery and the helpful customer service provided online.

80 quid wasted! Can't wear them as everytime I tried they hurt and didn't feel right.....JUST MEASURED THEM AND RIGHT ONE IS SMALLER THAN LEFT ONE BUT BOTH SAY SIZE 4!!!!....NO WONDER IT HURT, VERY DISAPPOINTED. COMPLAINT INCOMING

I received my order - I noticed the logos were misplaced, I was gaslight over several emails saying it was meant to be like that. I had to send marked up photos. Wouldn't give me a coupon to reorder - even for free postage.

Absolute joke ordered some trainers and picked for them to be sent to a collection locker, UPS tried three times but it was shut (locker is outside) saying they needed a signature I then changed to a UPS shop and again three times not delivered.  Spoke with New Balance online chat who told me I was wrong they didn't need a signature, sent over a screenshot from the delivery attempts.  She then contacted UPS and shockingly they were suddenly able to drop the parcel off.  Went to collect it this morning to be told by the shop I need a barcode, again contacted New Balance who told me I should have told them it was re-delivered and I didn't need a barcode.  Not working for them or UPS how would I know this?!?!? So I get to now go and try again to see if they shop will give them me.  Really would advise not ordering from New Balance online as they obviously have linked up with the worst postal option to save themselves some money but causing massive headaches for customers!

I ordered a pair of trainers from new balance and after making my order i came over here to check the reviews for the website, originally i had no concerns as i ordered them straight from the company's website, but i later became concerned as i saw how horrible the ratings were, with people saying they received used shoes, one shoe or completely different things from what they ordered. Personally my experience was great and my trainers came in a week after i placed the order, the shoes are really nice and they came brand new and in the correct size.

Offered discount but impossible to use. Site crashes. They are more interested in mining info than selling shoes. They are truly awful!

I ordered my trainers through new balance. UPS said they tried to deliver my parcel. They did not. Then they said they had put them in a shop 20 mins away from my flat. (I spent nearly an hour on the phone trying to get this info) they said they would redeliver.
4 days later nothing. I spoke to new balance and said they would follow up and call me back. They didn’t. I emailed. Nothing.
I rang ups again. They said they didn’t know where the package was.
I went to the shop where the trainers were. Guess what? They’d been picked up. Another few days pass and my trainers get delivered. They didn’t fit(these things happen) so I follow instructions. Put the sticker in the parcel back on the box and go to return it. (20 minute walk) so another hour wasted.
So 4 hours of my time wasted thus far.
I email new balance and explain again the above fiasco. They apologise and say they will refund me.

Then no refund has come through. Then they say because I haven’t returned the trainers.
They said they will send me another sticker for me to print to go back to a shop 20 mins away for it not to be accepted.

So they have messed me around for weeks.

This is now three weeks later.

I am waiting on an ups driver. Do not buy from new balance direct.

It has been a pain, I thought I was being compensated but no. It has been a shambles and if the ups driver does not turn up today, what do I do? I am never buying new balance again.

Incredibly stressful. They do not care about their customer.
And now they have their trainers back, they are ignoring me. Oh, they offered me a £20 voucher before beginning to ignore me. If you want stress, no trainers, then thinly veiled threats. Please go to NEw Balance.

They seem to rated well for wide fit football boots however I wouldn't know since they never have any stock. I contacted them and they replied to tell me there is no stock and they don't know when there will be. What a poorly ran company!

I ordered some trainers to a UPS pick up point (£110). I always get things delivered to pick up points because it’s safest (lol- have definitely changed my mind now!). The order stated delivered 3/9/2025 on the tracking. I went to collect them on the 6/9/2025 and the lady at the shop told me they had no UPS deliveries and did not have my parcel. I thought it would be an easy fix. Emailed new balance and I don’t know what planet they’ve sourced their customer service staff from. Just brainless, incompetent, illiterate and couldn’t care less. They kept sending me the tracking information saying it had been delivered. I called them on the phone twice and they feign good customer service by apologising but then don’t actually follow through with what they say. Over a month of emails getting nowhere.
Anyway, apparently UPS did an investigation and sent ‘proof of delivery’. I got an email from new balance saying the case was closed and nothing I could say would change anything. The ‘proof’ they send me was a confirmation of receipt from …. The wrong shop. A shop with a very unique name. A shop a couple hundred metres down the road. And they’ve basically stone walled me now. Called me a liar. So the only option now is to charge back. And funnily enough I ordered the shoes from office.co.uk in the meantime with no problems. Do not buy directly from new balance. Only buy from third party sellers. It honestly baffles the mind how New Balance is willing to call me a liar and ignore the name of the wrong shop in black and white. They just expect me to let £110 go into thin air. They have no grasp of UK consumer law or common sense. A charge back with my credit card is now my only recourse. Order: NK06909802. Beware!

Erg jammer dat in de webshop staat aangegeven dat "de meeste mensen 0,5 maat kleiner bestellen".
Ik geloofde dit en bestelde 0,5 maat kleiner. Deze schoenen waren dus te klein. Dan kunnen ze er beter niks neerzetten.....schoenen terug gestuurd via UPS. Hopelijk komt het geld ook nog retour.

Brought a pair of new balance trainers first time always Brought asics.... thought I would try a different brand they arrived a day before my holiday which I left them behind...... can only wear them for a few minutes and then get pain in my left foot ..... tried to resolve this with new balance with emails and photos ......but they are just saying its my foot not there product ..... most unhappy and feel let down

My worst customer service experience was with New Balance.
I initiated a return over a month ago and dropped it off as instructed. When I noticed there had been no update, I contacted New Balance customer service for assistance. Unfortunately, my interaction with Timo, the representative who handled my case, left me extremely disappointed.
Instead of offering a solution or investigating the issue, Timo bluntly told me to go back to the UPS drop-off location and tell them my return had not yet been received by New Balance. This was frustrating, especially since I had followed their official return process through the New Balance portal.
This response felt dismissive, unhelpful, and frankly incompetent for a brand of New Balance’s reputation. Rather than putting the burden back on the customer, I expected them to take ownership of the issue and help resolve it.

My family and I have always loved New Balance shoes, but I am very disappointed by their voucher policy. A few months ago, I received a voucher as compensation for faulty shoes that developed a defect after only one month of use. When I tried to use the voucher, the shoes I ordered were the wrong size, so I had to return them.

To my surprise, the voucher was cancelled because the order was returned, even though the original issue was warranty-related. I feel this policy does not take into account the human factor, as anyone can make a mistake when choosing a size.

I hope New Balance can review their policy and consider a more customer-friendly approach that acknowledges such situations.
