The experience was fun most of the locations are cool which gives you something to break the ice and only one time it was at a crowded bar so it was hard to hear. The location is usually a fun spacious place. I have tried speed dating a few times. I left with friends after talking with other single women. Not the objective but still a win!

I’ve gone to a couple speed dating events now in Boston. I definitely recommend it to anyone on the fence. It’s not scary. Go, meet new people, have fun, see what happens. It’s better for the soul than swiping.

Constructive Advice
I like traditional stuff like that so everyone can be present and get to know each other instead of endless browsing.The only thing is the setting normally hold at bar which is difficult to talk and hear as the bar gets loud. It would be great if we could do it at the park or hotel common area:) also having people to answer more in-depth questions would make the speed dating more intentional instead of just having fun

Attended an event in Boston. Host made us all feel welcomed and safe. It felt less like speed dating and more like an organic meetup in a very nice venue. I personally liked not having name tags. While you had the scoreboard available to use at any time, having to pay attention and remember who was who based on asking questions made the interactions feel more genuine. Would definitely recommend someone taking a chance and attending. At the very least you’ll meet some very nice people and possibly make a new friend or more.

There are really friendly staff with a variety of services, from match making to speed dating. I've only done Speed Dating with them. (They didn't consistently contact me back regarding the matchmaking service when I asked 1 year ago. ) After you participate for the full price of speed dating they offer deals for only $5 tickets if they need more people for events (not including the transaction fee). Also, they help people with navigating the website for the matches. It's a nice, safe dating environment in which they only give out contact information if there's a mutual match. Also, the events are held at nice locations, like hotels, or nice bars/restaurants. Some, like the Marriott Hotel, offer free parking validation for a good amount of time (around a few hours). Also, there's decent people at these events. I've been to a number of events, but it's hard for me to recall the last one I went to.

Total scam
Total scam. They cancelled the event I had booked to attend with less than 24 hours notice and didn't offer a refund. I requested a refund as is my consumer right and they said they would put in a request with Eventbrite. 3 months later still nothing but pointless emails back and forth with them, with pointless excuses, and now they are emailing me to advertising other events upcoming. As someone who runs events myself via Eventbrite I am familiar with the refund process which is extremely straight forward. This organisation is a total money scam

We’re sorry your Dublin event needed to be rescheduled. Under our Cheeky Guarantee, daters are always welcome to inquire about a refund when we reschedule, and we’ll ensure it gets taken care of. Some daters prefer to move to another date, and we extend that same flexibility through our Cheeky Promise. If a dater needs to reschedule with us, whether it’s five days or even five minutes beforehand, we’re happy to accommodate them. We appreciate that reschedules can be frustrating, but we’ve found this flexibility creates a little more understanding on both sides.
The invitations you’ve received since are complimentary invitations to upcoming Dublin events, at no charge to you. We extend these to daters who have experienced a rescheduled event, giving them another opportunity to come along, meet some great people and hopefully have a lovely evening with us.
Our Cheeky Guarantee is there to make sure guests have options when an event needs to be rescheduled. We hope the refund confirmation clears things up, and you’re of course still very welcome to join us in Dublin with our compliments.
In fact, we have an event tomorrow night, September 5th, at the super-popular BrewDog, and we’d love to have you join us with our compliments. Just let us know and we’ll be happy to arrange it. 🙂

Great event but not the music volume
Overall, I really enjoyed the event and thought it was a great experience! I have two small suggestions that might make it even better.
The music was quite loud, which made having proper conversations difficult, especially for those of us who speak English as a second language. There seemed to be quite a few of us, and the background noise made communication even more challenging. And as I’m in the “senior” age group now, my throat definitely wasn’t a fan of talking over the music! 😂
It would also be really helpful to include some parking suggestions in the confirmation / reminder email. The venue was great, but being close to SkyCity, parking was quite tricky for someone unfamiliar with the area.
Other than that, I had a lovely evening and really appreciated the effort that went into organising the event. Thank you!
