The company failed my expectations in many ways. Communication before payment is OK, but once they have been paid, emails asking for info and updates just aren't bothered with, phone messages ignored - it all seems to stop. The van turned up 4 hours late to collect, then 8 hours late to deliver. Their name has cheap in it and that should be a red flag. It is a moderately cheap service (it's worth getting more quotes) my move was very expensive for what I ended up having to deal with. Poor service, appalling communications, a deeply unprofessional outfit.

They were ok to deal with but quite rigid at times as they do things through an online booking system and when your request doesn't fit that requirement this makes it hard. They promised that our items would be loaded between 10 and 12 but eventually showed up a little after 12. Without any communication initiated by them, there was no direct contact with the driver and I had to e-mail myself and ask for any information.

The driver was nice, but upon arrival in London it was clear that he was done, tired and wanted to get it over with ASAP. He only put our stuff at the loading dock of his truck and helped with a few heavier items. If you are looking for some support with loading and unloading I wouldn't recommend using Cheap Removals. They get your stuff from A to B and that's it.

We had a great experience with the team. Sylwia was extremely responsive. I asked her a loy of questions and she responded politely and very quickly. The removal happened over a weekend and the driver accidentally had the wrong address. We did not have the drivers number but luckily we had a family member in Germany to intercept the van before it arrived at the wrong number. It would have been helpful to have the drivers number. The driver (Wojtek) was super helpful with loading and unloading, was very professional and polite. All my stuff (including 2 guitars) arrived in one piece. I wish I could give 4.5 stars.

We had a great experience moving from Portugal to the UK. Orysia was fantastic at dealing with our last minute requests and managing the transport to accommodate the later delivery dates we needed. With their competitive prices and with the job well done, we will certainly be using MyCheapRemovals again.

Completely unacceptable service: they came with an undersized van (even though they had received a complete inventory of the items to bring).

The driver didn't speak English (for a collection in England!) and didn't have any proper tools (no lifts/trolleys). When out items didn't fit in the lorry, they asked us to pay for a separate van (£1300) instead of just collecting them separately as part of the agreed service (as you would rightfully expect).

He damaged loads of items (furniture, a fridge etc.) in transit, and did not respect the conditions we agreed for the delivery (he arrived almost 2 hours earlier with no prior notice).

On top of all that, they offer no customer service over weekends, which in our case was a problem as the delivery was planned for a Monday.
You're better off selling your stuff rather than hiring these guys, avoid at all costs.

The van that delivered my items was not the same van I loaded the items on. My items were picked up in The Netherlands and stored safely with the furniture covered, however the load was then transferred onto another van somewhere in between The Netherlands and the UK, with no supervision or cameras recording this. As a result my items were all over the place in the second van with some damaged items including a walnut table. The customer service was even more appalling after that. They do not respond their phones or emails. Only after threatening them to take legal action did they respond but only for a bit. Still did not resolve any of the issues and still waiting for a response. Avoid at all costs! There are more professional movers around. They assure you your items are safe until your items are carelessly thrown around onto another van without your consent and away from any supervision.

These guys are brilliant. They handled my last minute move with a lot of patience and flexibility, the driver was really helpful and showed up exactly as stated, and the price is more than reasonable. Great communication, transparent, very easy and breezy, would whole-heartedly recommend and I plan on using their services again.

I was a little nervous about moving all our belongings from Manchester to Copenhagen in January this year, however, MyCheapRemovals were a brilliant company to help us with this. Sylwia had excellent communication and explained everything very clearly. They were well aware of all the border requirements and processes and assisted with completion of the correct documents. The move went completely smoothly, the driver arrived early/ on time, all our belongings were wrapped and protected well in the van and everything arrived on time in perfect condition. Would highly recommend, especially considering their costs are much better than other quotes we received!

We moved from the UK to Denmark, 20 cubic m, mostly boxes. I was very happy with the experience. Communication from the company was excellent, and everything happened as I was expecting. Collection and delivery was punctual, and the driver was very helpful loading and unloading. I would unhesitatingly use MyCheapRemovals again.

Moved from the UK to Netherlands, the cheapest price I could find among competitors. Great customer service, everything was collected and delivered within the given time frame, all arrived intact. Marek, the driver, was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend MCR to others.

Used to move 10m3 from UK to the Netherlands. Excellent service from Natalia and Sylvia. Collected on Monday and delivered on Wednesday. Very competitive prices and flexible with regard to goods and volume taken. The driver Marcin was really friendly and helpful on both loading and unloading. Would recommend this company.

Moved house from UK to Norway and the process was made very easy with MCR. The price was fantastic, they picked up my belongings on the day of my choosing and delivered a few days later. Very flexible in terms of the weight and volume. Allowed me to upgrade from what I initially thought I had for a smaller total cost than their original quote for such volume and weight. Sylwia and Natalia were very responsive and helpful throughout. One hiccup was that the things arrived three days later than agreed upon but the company gave me further discount so win win. I highly recommend and would not hesitate using MCR again.
