Our experience with Mr Wardrobe - and in particular with Nikki, the sales representative - has been deeply disappointing. We entered into what we expected to be a bespoke joinery project with a £30k+ budget for a home bar and wine display unit. We were promised a professional, carefully managed process. Instead, it became clear that the company was unprepared, disorganised, and lacking in transparency. After paying the deposit, the process slowly broke down. The design phase dragged on for weeks with minimal progress and, despite repeated requests, no technical drawings were ever provided for our sign-off. We received only a couple of poor-quality renders, both of which required our own corrections. During our last call on a Friday evening, Nikki claimed the team was ready to start installation the following week. When we raised serious concerns about the missing drawings and lack of readiness, we were met with defensive and contradictory messages instead of solutions. Nikki tried to downplay the issues, shifting blame rather than addressing facts, and attempted to reframe the situation to make us feel responsible for delays that were entirely due to the company’s lack of preparation. This manipulative approach was deeply unprofessional and undermined any remaining trust. Matters worsened when our access to the company’s online portal, Canvas, containing our original quote and project information, was suddenly removed after we raised concerns, making it impossible to verify what we had paid for. After this experience, I reviewed the company’s online feedback and found a high number of negative or poor reviews describing very similar issues. I wish I had done this earlier. When I mentioned this to Nikki, she dismissed them as “not genuine,” which only reinforced my concerns about honesty and accountability. We have formally requested a refund and are now pursuing the matter through our bank and legal channels under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. In summary: what was presented as a bespoke, high-quality service turned out to be disorganised, opaque, and unprofessional. I would strongly advise others to exercise extreme caution before paying a deposit or committing to any work with this company.

From the very beginning, communication was poor and disorganised. I dealt with multiple staff members throughout the project, which led to repeated miscommunication and confusion. Unfortunately, many of the staff were not honest, and we experienced constant misinformation and broken promises.

We placed a great deal of trust in this company, only to be left deeply disappointed. We spent £10,000 on a media wall and a small shoe storage cupboard. The end result was a poor-quality finish — with chips, imperfections, glue residue, and overall sloppy workmanship. Despite raising these issues and being promised resolutions, very little was done to rectify them.

Fitters initially seemed competent, but ultimately proved unreliable and untruthful. The company was quick to take payment but unwilling to take accountability for the substandard results.

If you do go ahead with them, I strongly recommend you record every conversation, take photos of every stage, and do not rely on verbal assurances — they mean very little. Also, be warned: if you visit their showroom, what you see there is not what you’ll receive. The quality on display does not reflect what’s delivered.

We regret ever proceeding with this company and wish we had trusted our instincts earlier. There are plenty of other businesses out there who offer better quality, service, and integrity. Mr. Wardrobe is simply not trustworthy.

Mr Wardrobe reached out to me two months after this review was written — clearly aware it was me. They claimed they had always planned to come back to fix the issues I’d raised, but I found that hard to believe; if that were true, why not do so days after the project was supposedly “completed”? It all felt disingenuous.

When the fitters eventually returned to my home, I was met with more unprofessional behaviour and a very slapdash job. They rushed to leave, and the whole experience left me feeling uncomfortable. I had asked for different fitters, but Mr Wardrobe insisted it had to be the same ones “because they knew the project and the house.”

Even after that visit, there were still problems. Instead of sending someone competent to fix them, they sent me instructions to do it myself. I’m sorry, but after paying nearly £10,000, I shouldn’t have to fix anything myself.

To top it off, they asked me to write a positive review, saying their team is measured on client satisfaction and that “bad reviews affect their growth” and their “families depend on this.” I sympathise with anyone trying to make a living, but if that’s the case, then treat clients with respect, communicate properly, and deliver a professional, high-quality service from the start.

No — I will not write a good review simply because you asked. That wouldn’t be genuine.

After spending a considerable sum on wardrobes from these people, I would strong suggest going elsewhere. The showroom when we visited was a complete mess. First red flag. They then proceeded to install and demanded more money. This is after they scratched and damaged our new radiators, and parquet flooring. They damaged newly painted walls which had to be refilled and re-painted. The quality of workmanship leads a lot to be desired, with hinges falling off, doors not fitting and LED lights already failing. It is clear that they use a team of sub contractors and pay them the least amount possible. The website and instagram photos are not a clear indication of the work they do, based on the work they have done for me.

We wanted to renovate three built-in wardrobes in our flat and, after hours of online searches, we decided to reach out to MrWardrobe - really glad we did! After a visit to the showroom, where we could choose the actual materials, colours and finishes, it took just over a week to receive the elevations and renderings. Within two weeks the wardrobes were ready to be installed. Guri and Jobanpreet fitted the wardrobes perfectly, despite the challenges posed by cutting old drywall. They were extremely professional, tidy, polite and had great attention to detail. We are very pleased with the result and would highly recommend!

Mr Wardrobe installed replacement wardrobes in our master bedroom. They were prompt, engaged and constructive through the planning process. The installation was carried out efficiently and to a good standard and the few follow-up items were quickly addressed. The wardrobes themselves look great - good quality and fairly priced.

Home bar turned out great, and is a status piece for my living room, bespoke furniture like this that fits the space exactly clearly looks much better than something brought from a store. So was a good choice. Home bar was put together efficiently. Looks great with all the bottles and bar ware on display.

We are absolutely delighted with the hall storage units Mr Wardrobe have designed and fitted. We were able to have all our requests met and the units installed in the time promised. The fitters were efficient, polite and consulted us at every stage. They also tidied and cleaned up after them. All in all a very good experience and a quality result. We will certainly be going back to them for our fitted wardrobes.

Mr Wardrobe team did an excellent job in building and installing two customised fitted wardrobes for both our bedrooms. The work was completed in a very timely and professional manner. The finishing was neat and tidy. Special shout out to Fateh (wardrobe installer), who was leading the installation work and was very careful in moving the materials in the flat as instructed and provided a lot of assurance during the work that was well received. I would highly recommend Mr Wardrobe if you’re interested in installing fitted wardrobes in your flat/ house. Great job overall!

After searching around for wardrobe quotes this company offered the best price and quality products. Manesh did a home visit initially and met all expectations. Due to a slight supplier issue the fitting was delayed but the finished product was great. I would definitely recommend them as they were always on hand and communicated well. Customer service was great from Manesh and Harpreet. Love the finished look.

Because of Mr Wardrobes I now have a beautiful walk in wardrobe and a stunning corner wardrobe in my balcony bedroom. I was particularly impressed with the teams flexibility around specific design requests that other companies couldn’t grant due to their lack of necessary resources, but Manish helped me design and bring my vision to life. He and Harpreet sent me many videos of the different types of colours and material (including glass and brass handles) - and I opted for tempered and premium dark tinted glass to be the focal point of the room when coming in - it also has a beautiful vertical light fixture which when turned on, allows you to reveal the interior of the wardrobe properly - lighting up any beautiful clothing/handbags/shoes I may want to show. I loved the fact that I was able to have a touch light switch and floor to ceiling wardrobes. I also have a lovely floating "Tray/shelf" which works as a dressing table for makeup application and even accommodates a cool working station - a lot of people/my customers on zoom have commented on my wardrobes (wardrobes are in the background) and they think that I'm in the office because it looks so professional and beautiful.
My walk in has a “secret door” that commenters like to describe it. It’s a mirrored door which only reveals itself as a door when opened up as the handle is discreet (exactly what I was after as I wanted the mirror to be large enough to cover the whole surface area).
The installation team are super super hard working and work very long hours to ensure that the job gets done and they work all day and night, without fail. They also carried up my really heavy wood and glass up the staircase, to the 9th floor!! as it wouldn't fit into the lift due to the height. I was in absolute awe of their work ethic, professionalism and attention to detail.
They helped make my new build flat a comfortable home for all my fashion items etc. & they were even kind enough to put my bed frame together.

Super happy, and cannot recommend them enough. I obviously will be returning for more... maybe the office next, or master bedroom :-)
