From our initial sales consultation to the Hammonds' surveyor and then the fitter we have had a superb experience with Hammonds. We are very happy with our wardrobes. Our fitter was extremely professional and so helpful with the final fitting brief. He completed the work on time. He was very considerate about keeping the house tidy during the works and I would highly recommend him and Hammonds. Many thanks

We booked a visit on line for 7th April at 10 am for someone to measure up for replacement doors and drawers as they had peeled and bowed. The appointment was confirmed, but nobody turned up, and despite several phone calls to different departments nobody took ownership. Was finally advised today that they will only replace if under guarantee, but you need to have new carcasses aswell before they will give a quote. Even though we are prepared to pay for them, they aren't interested. I will never use or recommended again.

Would give them zero stars if possible.
Wring designs, wrong dates, wrong info. Always have to chase them down. We are going to small claims court to recover. These guys are the absolute worst.

Nathan, your consultant was excellent. He gave good/practical advice. He didn't try to oversell, which was welcomed.

Had to wait for damaged part to be replaced

Very thorough process throughout. Informed through the portal and email how things were, when appointments were etc. helped us get to a design that we were happy with. Installer was very courteous and got on with the job and carried out an install that we are happy with. He asked questions throughout to make sure we were pleased. Definitely would use them again.

We are so impressed with Hammonds from start to finish.
The service was spot on and the staff are super friendly.
We had hallway cupboards and seating fitted. The fitter (Alex) was superb. Communicated his arrival times. He did a fantastic job. We are very pleased and would definitely recommend Hammonds.

The entire Hammonds team starting from Jonathan-the sales consultant, the surveyor, and Tony, the installer was a pleasure to work with . Great service and quality of furniture During installation, Tony did wall to wall wardrobe fittings for two of our bedrooms. He did both the rooms to perfection, checking our preference every now and then. He ensured that the final output was superlative and we are glad he took the time to meet our expectation. The fitter was great, due to some miscommunation, the deliverywas due to come a day earlier than expected, so couldnt be done. The installer went and collected the parts himself so that he could install it. He cleaned and tidied up after himself and put everyrhing out ready for collection. He was great and i'm happy to have my wardrobe.wish i could remember his name though.

The process from design to installation was not a smooth transaction. All appeared straightforward at the start but by the time the surveyor arrived he stated particular areas should not of been agreed and not standard to their installation and would therefore not be done. I was naturally upset and disappointed wishing I'd never made contact with Hammonds. After discussion with the Manager they agreed to accommodate my wishes. I am pleased to say the process ended well with installation far exceeding my expectations and can confirm it was a job excellently done.

Listened to my problem, and gave the best advice - unfortunately not price matched to Wren and was out of my budget

We had a designer come to the house. She was a lovely lady. She measured up... and then drew the plan of the media wall we had fitted.
She then told me that I wasn't going to be happy with the price. So we were intrigued, as we hadn't told her our budget. We knew what we were intending spending... which ironically was the price she quoted or there abouts...
She then told me she would call her manager and see what she can do...
This was the point we got frustrated as we dont like all that pressure selling and to be told that they can hold a price for a certain time... and that the promotional offer will end that evening etc etc... which is what were told...
It was so annoying so we said we would let her know
Then we had a message from the manager she was "negotiating" with saying that he can offer a further discount
Now, we went ahead with the sale, not because they offered an amazing deal of a lifetime lol, but because we knew what hammonds were about, we visited their showroom and were sold by Peter - South African guy in the Nottingham store. We received an amazing service from him, which was partly the reason we went ahead
Stop hard selling! Read the room, understand your customer! Don't assume something is too expensive or not!
Your customer will decide!
If it wasn't for Peter and the reputation Hammonds has we wouldn't have gone ahead
We also asked for the lady to look at a cupboard for the landing, but she was so caught up in the price, she didn't even take a look at the landing!

The fitting was done by Marius, he was absolutely brilliant! He craftsmanship was second to none! He cleaned up after himself, he was honest and extremely professional!

Really neat work with beautiful results

Our fitter Danny was great, he arrived on time, his attention to detail was fantastic and he left our room clean and tidy. We would definitely recommend him and Hammonds!

From start to finish I was happy with the service provided from all employees across the company - planner, surveyor and fitter. I was kept informed all the way. The fit took place on the day as planned and our fitter was friendly, polite, respectful and hardworking - a great ambassador for Hammonds. We were left with a transformed room which was true to the CAD provided. Thank you.

Great service from start to finish our fitter Halit was very good the fitted wardrobe looks perfect it has everything that we asked for and the quality was top class I would definitely recommend Hammonds to family and friends 10 out of 10 for the whole process

The people I met from walking into the Hammond’s shop to the final installation have been friendly and efficient. Thanks to Michelle, who talked me through all the choices, Nicky the surveyor who explained everything and not forgetting Lance the installer who presented me with a very satisfying wardrobe.

Left the place in a mess. They used 3 different sub contractors to fit wardrobes in 3 separate rooms in a 2 bed apartment over 4 days. No proper coordination. One room not finished a week later and we have received missing nobs and screws in the post. I’m not sure if they think we are going to finish the job.
