Graham (our exceptional driver who went above and beyond our expectations) was most friendly and professional. From the moment he welcomed us on to the bus to the moment we departed he remembered names, he was checking in on our comfort and entertained us with informative stories along the way. The tour itself was well thought out with a variety of experiences from view points to historical landmarks and the fabulous Muncastor Castle. The highlights - lunch, the bird of prey show and castle and gardens. A well consider opportunity to explore this part of the Lakes without having to negotiate the challenging roads.

I took my American family on a Ten Lakes Spectacular tour as they only had one full day in the lakes and this is the best way of seeing most of its beauty. Bob our tour guide/driver was brilliant, professional and helpful at all times. The tour is never rushed and visits the most beautiful places. Mountain Goat are the GOAT 👏

Our bus driver Mark was outstanding full of very interesting information about the areas we passed through and other bits of interest. The bus was comfortable and clean I was under the impression when booking that there was a lake boat ride included at an additional cost obviously plans for the tour had changed. What a fabulous day! Right from the get-go, John made us welcome and kept us entertained and informed throughout the day. The bus was very comfortable and the microphone meant we could hear clearly hear John’s fascinating commentary. And what an amazing wealth of history and knowledge he shared in a candid, humorous and inspiring way - he is well read, and also obviously enjoys sharing the passion he has for the area and the people of Yorkshire.
Of course the scenery was gorgeous, of course the itinerary was packed full of wonderful things to see, experience and partake in, the website gallery and description is accurate. But the website can’t show you is the genuine warmth and good humor, professional and caring of our tour guide and the team behind the scenes … don’t hesitate!

A very well organised day across the North Yorkshire Moors to Whitby & back. Our driver John was friendly,enthusiastic, very knowledgeable and described relevant historical details & the scenery in an entertaining way.
My one criticism is that the morning section was too long. We left York at 9am & didn't arrive in Whitby until 2.15 when we decided to give Whitby Abbey a miss as we were already really hungry (breakfast for us had been at 7.45) and desperate for fish & chilps. We had these at The Quayside Restaurant & they were excellent.
Otherwise a very good day.

Excellent, our tour guide John was very knowledgeable and kept us engaged while travelling between stops with interesting facts and stories about the area and the local history.
There is quite a lot of time spent travelling, but the tour is worth it for visiting smaller points of interest and exploring the area.

The Ten Lakes Spectacular tour lives up to its title. If you come to the Lake District but don’t have the time to explore the area or you don’t have a car, this is a perfect way to do it. There were seven of us and we all really enjoyed spending the day immersed in nature and learning some facts about the region. Jason, our driver was great, he had some personal stories as well as fun facts that made the journey enjoyable.

Tony was an amazing driver and tour guide.
Our family (including Langdale members) had an amazing time. For alot of our party it was the favorite day of the trip.
We would recommend this tour to anyone and would definitely do it again.

We went on the 10 Lake Spectacular Tour from The Lake District. It was an 8 hour tour and packed so much in although we never felt rushed. We didn’t realise just how much there was to see in the Lake District and we are so glad we did this tour. I would say our tour guide STEF went above and beyond to make the tour the best it could be. He was very kind and considerate whilst being fun and was ever mindful of our comfort on the trip. He even recited some poetry for us. STEF’s knowledge of the history of the regions and the sights that we visited was incredible, we were in awe of his knowledge. The mini bus we were on was very comfortable and so much better than being on a coach and picked us up at our hotel which was great. I would definitely recommend this tour and Mountain Goat tours. If we visit the Lake District again we will be looking to book another tour.

The Langdale valley and surrounding fells amazing
I didn't mind visiting Muncaster Castle but preferred the lakes and scenery. The only thing I would change in the tour is the lunch there. It would have been better in another local restaurant or pub.
Anyway, thank you for this lovely day. It was great!

Stunning views! Mark was very knowledgeable and the perfect tour guide. It's a must do if you're in the region for a short trip.

The host Jason was helpful and displayed excellent local knowledge. His anecdotes about local personalities made the afternoon really interesting and we will remember our time in the Lake District with fondness as a result. The minibus was comfortable and cool and the ride on the ferry allowed us views we would not have had from land.

The tour itself was brilliant, as the route was lovely and spectacular.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and told us a lot, starting in York, so the ride was interesting throughout. He was a very calm and safe driver as well, negotiating the narrow roads and oncoming traffic admirably.
All in all I‘d highly recommend this tour and am very glad I got the last seat on the bus.

My wife and I are both in our 80's now, and have visited he Lakes many times before on walking, climbing and sight seeing trips. It was great to revisit some of our favourite spots on such a beautiful day. Our driver, David, was extremely good, and had extensive knowledge of all the places we visited. He ensured that all the passengers were happy and that everything kept to time.

We wanted a tour that made it easy to access parts of the Lake District that weren't easy to get to by public transport and that's exactly what was provided. Mark was an excellent guide who knew how to adjust the tour based on the weather, road closures and the interests of the group. Based on this experience it was possible to gain a great overview of the lakes and how easy or difficult it would be to get to different places by ourselves. The following day we took a bus from Windermere to Keswick and walked up Skiddaw.

Our guide John made our tour of the North York Moors and Whitby memorable. We visited an Abbey and an ancient church we would never have found if touring ourselves. He very quickly got us off the beaten track and onto country back roads which again we would never have discovered. All the time he dropped in nuggets of history and geology to give a sense of what we were seeing and why. At stops along the way he was very clear on how long the break was and his good humour ensured everyone on the bus was prompt at rejoining which can be an issue on some guided tours.

It was amazing . I would like to have had more time to visit other places connected to Beatrix Potter , her museum , other factories, other houses! Without other topics . Only Beatrix and her extraordinary life.

Graham was a great driver and tour guide. He showed great patience and diplomacy when 2 passengers kept us waiting for 15 minutes when we re-boarded the bus from the ferry. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was due to 3 staff who sat directly behind me and constantly chattered through Graham’s commentary.
