I bought a CD through eBay and received an illegal copy burnt onto a Memorex disc and not the real thing. The sleeve was a bad black and white photocopy. This is an insult considering they said the item was in good condition. I sent it back immediately and a month on I am no closer to resolving this. They sent me a clumsy and misleading email telling me it is in hand and that I would have to jump through hoops to get a refund on the postage. I am £9.27 down but the wisdom of knowing never to buy from Momox and that eBay are useless at chasing this up for me is cheap at the cost. I will avoid Momox because they are criminals and I'll avoid eBay because they don't care.

Ordered a DVD for UK delivery.

Then I read these reviews and started to wonder what would go wrong. All turned out fine in my case. The DVD in its original jewel case arrived well ahead of time, was well packed and looked in as-new condition. It played perfectly.

Bit of a relief after all I'd read here. So, I might well buy from them again, at least sticking to lower value items for now.

The sales advert on Amazon stated delivery by 12th Sept, for an order dated 6th Sept. The goods would come from UK and used a .co.uk URL. After payment was taken the receipt said by 25th Sept. After querying with them they said they do not use tracking, the company shown on Amazon is not listed as one of their 'approved'(?) carriers. They then said that packages can take up to 30 days. They do not reply with explanations or information other than dismissive irrelevant statements. Do not touch them with a barge-pole.

I ordered a dvd from another company: it was faulty. I ordered a replacement from Amazon (seller Momox) and was sent precisely the same dvd (it was paused in the same place.) They propose to deduct the cost of the return postage from my refund.
Dishonest practice and appalling service.

A scam and unsavory practices aimed only at company profit at any cost. Not only one-third of the books were rejected due to poor condition. It was surprising that books that were worth anything at all beyond 0.15 were rejected. Since I know that the books were in generally good condition I asked for an explanation, unfortunately, due to technical reasons I did not receive one. With payment I got the books back, below are the photos documenting the supposedly bad condition of the books. There was also an attempt to extort books from me on the grounds that they supposedly did not arrive. When I sent photos of the packed boxes, I got a reply that the books were miraculously found. My advice, put the books in good hands, do not be tempted by the price, because even so, if at all you will get only a third of the promised amount.

Utterly horrible company!
Have previously bought cds that never arrived. They don’t even bother responding to complaints. Today I was charged for an order I mistakenly made almost a week ago. Cancelled the order immediately. Reputable companies like WOB and Music Magpie etc all honour the 1 hour EBay cancellation period. I wanted the 2 cd version and immediately realised I’d ordered the 1 cd version. Other companies cancel without quibble, and we return to them. It’s how goodwill in business works. Not with Momox though. Kept me in limbo for almost a week then sent the unwanted product then declined my cancellation request. Greedy, opportunistic, freeloading shysters! Avoid Momox like leprosy! They are seriously Bad News in the world of online sellers. Avoid… always!

I've bought several books from their ebay shop. Always good condition, and delivered fairly quickly considering they apparently come from Germany. Just occasional problems arising from incomplete descriptions, but refunds arranged quickly with no hassle.

Ordered used DVD set of Les Revenants, described as 'condition good'. Arrived well ahead of date expected, which was great. Box set. First DVD ejected by player as 'unusable / damaged'. That's hardly good condition. Clearly it hadn't been checked. And it was quite pricy too. Judging by other comments, I won't bother going through the hassle of a refund. Instead I'll avoid, avoid, avoid.

I ordered a book on Ebay on 6/06/24 & was told delivery would be 10/06/24. It is now 23/06/24 and still no book. How does an order on Ebay get to be dealt with by Momox which is obviously a criminal set up?

Unsurprised to see this majority of negative reviews. I immediately realised the delivery date for an order would be far too late when i ordered from them on amazon....huge mistake. When i explained what had happened, they said they couldn't cancel the order, because 'it is in the post'. 10 seconds after i cancelled. Ludicrous. Had a lot of conversations with Amazon who have resolved this effectively. However completely unnecessary if this were a proper company who understood the vestiges of customer service. Hopeless.

i have ordered a lot before this incident and have had no issues but recently i ordered a blu-ray and they gave me the wrong film. i asked for a refund or return multiple times but everytime i ask they change the subject. don't order.

I've bought 2 sets of second hand CDs from Momox.co.uk through Amazon.co.uk .
Although a 2 to 3 week delivery time was speciified the first arrived after 2 weeks and the second after 1 week.
They were shipped from Berlin and postage cost £1.26. The first set was of 100 CDs the second 8.
More than 1 shipper was used for each order. They were delivered by Royal Mail in Scotland. The second was marked "Delivered" on Amazon when it arrived in the Netherlands being delivered there by a German shipper. It was delivered to me 4 days later without any action on my part.
Some of the CDs show they have been played before but all that I've listened to play without any errors. They are in good condition and very good value. Alternative purchases would have cost twice or three times as much.

Bought a DVD off Amazon without realizing it was from MOMOX. What turned up was a VHS tape.
Amazon didn't want to know.
MOMOX just wanted the SKU code from the package (stalling for time IMHO).
Highly convoluted process trying to claim a refund via Amazon: OK it's a low value transaction - but why should someone have my money for the wrong goods?
I still haven't had a sensible response from either Amazon or MOMOX, so my advice is simple: Just don't use them.
Update: I did eventually get a Refund via Amazon, so not all bad. But still not worth the aggravation.

Ordered a dvd, supposed to be delivered yesterday. Messaged Momox they said they don’t track their shipping orders , which is balloni.

they are scum, do NOT trust them.

I sent 4 books, one has been processed so far, it was like-new and in excellent condition it was rejected because it "didn't meet their standards". So I was offered to have them 'donate/sell' or they would charge me 4 euros to send it back to me. A complete scam, if a never-used book doesn't reach their standards (they don't even give you a report of why it was rejected), then I don't have hope for the others that have some slight wear. They lure you in with a high offer which, from what I can see from the other reviews is never actually paid out. Won't be using them again. Would avoid, especially for selling.

I wish I'd read the many negative reviews on Trustpilot about Momox beforehand, then I would have avoided this company like the plague. I ordered a Blu-ray disc with them via Amazon weeks ago only to receive the wrong disc in the right case. They said that they could not replace the disc and that I would receive an instant refund via Amazon. I've heard nothing form Amazon and Momox are still maintaining that a refund has been sent. I feel very let down by this firm and I'm very surprised that Amazon haven't addressed the problem. However, Momox reviews on the Amazon site are fairly good, for some reason. I, for one, have also sent a bad review for them on Amazon but I don't know if this will make any difference.

Ordered a CD. It never came. They claim to have refunded me. They haven’t and are fobbing me off. DO NOT USE!
