I found the whole process from start to finish easy to follow. The price was competitive and you could pick your cover to suit your needs. The response with your documents was prompt and everything else efficient

very poor experience would not use again. PLEASE NOTE THEY DO A HARD CREDIT CHECK ON YOUR CREDIT PROFILE WHICH WILL AFFECT YOUR CREDIT SCORE. This is rare and not needed as most providers just proceed with a soft subject. There get out of jail excuse is in their terms in small writing about 10 pages in or so it advises they may proceed to do one. Long waits when awaiting replies from emails. Issues with being mis advised. The portal used to find documents is not friendly and does not contain everything you need. Please avoid.- A hard credit search is not required to assess eligibility for monthly insurance instalments.
Across the industry, insurers and premium‑finance providers use soft searches, which provide the same affordability and credit‑risk information without damaging the customer’s credit profile. Soft searches still verify identity, assess risk, and support responsible lending — so the claim that a hard search “safeguards and protects customers” is not accurate or evidence‑based.

Your disclosure is also not presented clearly during the quote journey. The reference to a possible hard search appears buried deep within lengthy policy terms, not in a prominent or timely location where a customer can make an informed decision before proceeding. FCA guidance requires firms to communicate key information in a way that is clear, fair, and not misleading. Hiding material information in pages of small print does not meet that standard.

Customers should not have to risk a negative mark on their credit file simply to obtain car insurance — especially when a soft search would achieve the same purpose without harm.

My concerns about long response times, inconsistent advice, and an incomplete document portal also remain. For these reasons, my original review stands.

You can't speak to anyone if you got a problem been trying to change something on my policy and no help just says someone will be in touch in 24 hours

Unprofessional, not picking up the calls, ignoring my requests. Accused me of providing fraudulent document from company I was never even insured with, they have a huge mess in documents and messing different people documents in the system which only indicates that our data isn’t safe there. Refused to cancel my policy via email and now not picking up the provided phone number.

Easy signing up process, good value for money insurance cover that comes with very relevant extras.

I recently submitted my first claim with Moja. The initial process was fairly straightforward, even though the accident happened in the EU and had to be handled over the phone rather than online.
The team was helpful and generally well prepared, so the overall experience was positive. However, the “online‑only” positioning doesn’t fully hold up in practice. As soon as an issue arises, you are passed between Moja customer service and AXA, and the two don’t seem fully integrated.
This lack of integration means information isn’t always seamlessly shared, which can make the process less smooth and slower than expected.

It was relatively easy to change car details .Just changing payment card details I struggled with .but managed it .

When I was shopping for car insurance, I chose Moja purely based on their price & 5 star reviews. So far, my experience has been positive. I tend to be fairly law abiding, so when I was stopped for speeding in a 20 zone for a 2nd time, I was dreading declaring the points. (I disagree with 20 zones, unless around schools, but that's a whole different story). I did declare the points to keep my insurance valid, and was surprised how little extra the premium went up by. I haven't had to make a claim, so can't comment on that isde of things, but making amendments to a plicy online is dead easy, which is a huge plus for me, as I hate talking to strangers on the phone. So far, my experience from Moja has been nothing but positive. 10/10
