This company is a complete joke, nothing bit problems since day 1! I would advise anyone not to use them, when you need to talk to them you can't, it has to be done through email and await a response in 24 hrs time, when I had to make a claim after an accident I was miles away from home 89 to exact, I was told they would cover me getting home etc they didn't at the time. I had to pay close to 80 quid for an uber, only after leaving a bad review on here did they call me and offer to pay for the ride home if I took the review down. The car was written off and they said I would still have to pay the monthly payments which is fair enough, then the cancel it and say i have to pay the rest in one go, make up your minds like! Then I just find out they hit me with not only the voluntary excess but all a compulsory one aswell! 20 years as a driver I've never heard of that, and yes they will.say read the fine print, but as an autistic person you stick that much small print infront of me and my brain shuts down. As a company belonging to AXA who is a very big name you would think they had better morals than that. All I can say is MOJA and AXA, well they should belong in a comedy club, apparently they think their funny! Avoid these two like the plague, once bitten by these companies YOU WILL BE SCARRED FOR LIFE!!!

This company has many faults.
They have ignored issues I have presented to them and refused to fix them in good time.

They changed information on my policy without consulting me then tried to charge me more. All the information they changed was incorrect, they then told me they had corrected the issue after some time had passed. I then found out they had changed the information but wrongly again which then caused me to not be able to gain any insurance quotes from any other company.
They had also adjusted my no claims discount by not giving me the extra year I had gained and are now arguing it.
I eventually completed several quotes with them to gain an idea of pricing for my new policy. One with accurate information and one with no claim data, I was told my policy would not change but they lied and my policy prices were all different. I gave them the evidence and their reply was just to purchase one of them and nothing about there being a problem or that I had been lied to. They seemed to ignore it and won’t speak about it.

I now have to wait 8 weeks to get anywhere close to being able to insure a car because of the mistakes they have made due to them altering the national database and not correcting it. Any quotations I have been able to get have been upwards of £3,000 plus when they should only be around £700-£800. There is no rush for them to try to help me or fix the problems they have created even though they have caused a massive impact on my life by at first not being able to get insurance. All of this was not my fault and how they have dealt with it has been appalling. Why it even happened in the first place they cannot answer or won’t.
Extremely bad experience, very ignorant through message, change information which is extremely sly and all they want is for you to purchase a policy even if the details are incorrect, be very wary of using this company because if you experience an issue they do not want to fix it. They only want your money. Customer service is very lacking and poor.

I was able to easily make changes to my policy online. No lengthy phone calls trying to get through.

Easy change of vehicle online, no fuss or hums and harsh. Everything straight forward.

I cancelled the auto renewal on their website well before the due date, because I’d found a cheaper quote elsewhere. What happens, lo & behold they renew my insurance anyway.

So it’s cost me £25 admin fee to cancel this new unwanted policy. Easy money! Never again.

Good experience with Moja . Amazing this 3 years

Recently changed my vehicle and found the experience of changing my car details very easy to do on the website. The bonus was a small refund too, which arrived in my account 3 days later.

Terrible service. Firstly I tried to not renew, but the website was so terrible to use, I gave up in the end.

Now I am trying trying to add a named driver and the log in portal is broken …”site can’t be reached “ message.

(tried on multiple browsers too)

I’ve paid for a car insurance policy 3 days ago for a car I’m due to purchase this week - but the website crashed just as my payment was taken. I’ve been sent no policy documents and when I check online it’s still showing as being in the quote stage. I can’t ring up to talk to anyone and I just get emails saying “Please note, there is a delay in processing policies… Rest assured, we will honour your policy”. This is not assuring - especially as I won’t be able to collect my new car unless it’s taxed and insured. I have no proof my car is insured. I want to go with a different policy provider but Moja have my money (I paid for a whole year upfront) and the nearer I get to the day I collect my new car, the more expensive the quotes are getting. This is really stressful and frustrating.

I thought I had purchased new car insurance but after paying over £500 have had no acknowledgement, emails and get an error message when I try to login. I contacted Moja on a Web form and got a generic response with no explanation of what has gone wrong and some comment a refund would be made if no insurance being provided. Have now complained to Compare the Market who promoted Moja and complaint forwarded to Moja. Still no response, out of pocket and presume insurance not in place when needed. Do not use Moja. Have I been scammed?

Just wish you could speak to someone when you need to and not rely on emails

I have been insured with moja, 1 and month ago, my car was parked and someone hit and run. I started a claim with moja. They asked me for evidence and wverything. I have submitted them. Then whenever I am calling these guys they not giving proper response. No updates from them only I am having to call every week and they saying they waiting on liability. My car is damaged from 1 and half months and there exuse is waiting on liabilty which is not great. Today I spoke with a person, now after 2 hours of call they said they sent the eveidence through to third party I mean what have they done so far. I have submitted the evidence more then month ago and they sending it to third party today and in all this time misguiding me they waiting kn laibilty to accept the fault I mean when you not even shared the eveidence. They just dont listen and just delay it. So far spoke with them today for 2 hours. They literally said the point of insurance is it’s legally mandatory to drive on car. I mean I though I am paying insurance so my car is safe in case of any incident and I guess thats not what the company give insurance for. There have been literally bo resolution its been open from 1 month and 24 Days.
