Excellent knowledgeable help from Phil. He was amazing. Helped us find some walking boots for my daughter for University. He ensured they were just what she needed and even showed her how to lace them up.

Your employee Phil went above and beyond!! So helpful and nice! Helped me figure out the right fit and size for my feet, as well as find the right pair of boots for my needs and style. Such great service! Give that man a bonus! :)

I got exactly what I needed for a trip to Scotland thanks to the helpful staff in this branch of Millets and so would happily shop here again.

From the minute I walk through the door Phil was very helpful with no pressure if I didn’t want any help but I did. My experienced here was a good old-fashioned Customer Service Phil was very knowledgeable and very helpful and explained everything as we went along with the choice of my walking shoes and hiking boots, it’s place like this that restore your confidence in the High Street. It’s not very often you get somebody who knows what they are talking about and you certainly can’t get this service on the Internet this Shop is a credit to Hastings High Street.

Phil made my experience great! I was looking for some walking boots/shoes. Phil was very helpful and knowledgeable, explaining the pros and cons of different shoes. When I finally selected some, he did further checks and gave me lots of advice about wearing them in and how to lace them in the best way. All round a good experience.

Phil is the greatest. He’s so so helpful. He’s just the greatest guy. We miss him since the Eastbourne store closed. So glad we’ve now found him in the Hastings store. We buy most of our outdoor clothes, shoes and boots from Millets. Seeing Phil made the journey from Eastbourne worth while. PLEASE BRING BACK MILLETS TO EASTBOURNE AND BRING BACK PHIL. Love you Phil. Before I wore them, I went back to the store, where Lucy and Phil were incredibly helpful and guided me in picking out a different pair. Phil provided excellent customer service and is very knowledeable about hiking boots. Thank you very much! The Brasher pair I got are perfect! They feel very comfy and we went through muddy terrain on the weekend in the forest. My feet stayed nice and warm. Also the socks he recommended are great too! If you need advice - ask Phil!

I can truly say that we had an amazing shopping experience today at the Hastings branch. Ethan was truly awesome! He was our main point of contact but We were also assisted by Richard and Sophie.
Ethan asked about what we had planned (Norway in January) and then gave advice that totally made sense.
At no point did we feel rushed or upsold.
This team are why we decided to get everything we needed from the retail outlet and the one item not available there was ordered from the Millets website.
I hope the team see this review so they get the recognition they deserve as true assets to Millets.
