I went into Hastings millets today, to purchase a new pair of walking boots following 8 wks post operative foot surgery
I was served by Lucy to start with, but then Phil come and helped as I was having difficulty getting the right walking boot.
Phil had excellent knowledge, and gave me good advice on which boot would be better for me. I tried on two different types of Boots.
I did purchase the first pair i tried on as they were better fit and felt so more comfortable

I was served by Harry, who was friendly as were some other staff. There were some actual reductions, alongside the usual pretend sale nonsense.

Found exactly what I was looking for straight away. Phil, came to help me with my proposed purchase, measured my feet to make sure the shoes were a perfect fit. Quality consistent service again from the Hastings store. Thank you. Looking forward to wearing my Merrells in India soon

I visited Millets Hastings with a choice of 3 walking boots in mind to try on and choose a winner, anyway I was approached by Harry and after some very useful information and excellent customer service, shoe sizing etc, all given with a professional and friendly manner, I purchased my winner!! Was given a warm welcome to your hastings branch on the afternoon of Friday 9th January by staff members , I was looking for a winter coat for myself , I was offered help and staff gave great practical advice on what coat may suit my needs when I explained what I was looking for .

I found one I liked but they didn't have my size ,this is when Henry offered to check on line for me to see if I could order one , they found one and even ordered it for me. So helpful for me as I'm not that confident with ordering on line for home delivery .

Lovely service. We were welcomed and asked if we needed help and how we were doing. A lovely lady served us on the checkout and offered us a bag after my mum and I faffed around trying to fit it in the bags I already had.

Previously I've always gone to the bigger equipment stores in london.
Its nice to go to my local store (Hastings) and get the same thing locally.

Harry was brilliant. Very patient and knowledgeable. No problem getting out multiple types of walking shoes and sizes to try. You can’t do that online!! Plus, the price was good, and I got my Veterans Discount, so can’t recommend enough.

Popped in for a pair of walking boots asked the assistant for some help with a couple of questions, he was extremely helpful and patient and also made some recommendations for cheaper alternative although I never intimated cost was an issue, so that gave me some insight to the type of salesman he was, I bought the boots and something else that struck me was the other bit of advice he gave, wear them in the house a few times and if not satisfied then return within time for a full refund. A guy called Harry helped me navigate through the walking type boots available and then proceeded to go to the stock room to retrieve some sandals in my size that were no longer on display. Very polite and the usual millets value for money. Full

Harry welcomed us into the store and kindly offered his assistance. Initially we were okay browsing but when we did need some help he was happy to assist. My daughter has autism and sensory needs and he was able to offer help in a calm, patient way which she warmed to making what can be an overwhelming task for her an enjoyable experience. Thank you for your help Harry!

Phil was an amazing help whilst looking for boots. He knew exactly what I wanted and helped me find the best boots I've ever owned. her also quickly helped my husband order a pair he wanted to try.
I shop with my baby and toddler and sometimes get worried about the mischief they cause. Phil was fantastic with my daughter and made the whole experience easy.
I'm in need of a new day pack and will be back soon (hopefully on a day Phil is there).
