Met Office Anmeldelser 

I have to echo what others are saying. I have used the Met Office app for years and I really appreciated it. The new version of the app is really not good. I don't know where to start, but clunky, too busy, annoying simulated rain/weather on screen, depressing colour scheme that supposedly changes with the weather, location finder inaccurate, can't switch between different places, etc. Please bring back the old app. If you gave your users a choice, I suspect that the vast majority of users would prefer to stay with the old app. If it ain't broken, don't fix it. Now seeing if I can find an alternative app, so this one can be uninstalled. Update: now found an alternative app and uninstalled the Met Office app.

Possibly the worst update of an app that used to really appeal to its users. How this managed to get released is a travesty. My only thought is that Starmer must have had a hand in this wretched upgrade in his crusade to destroy everything we previously held dear.

The new app is absolutely dreadful. They’ve taken something that was useful and well loved and completely ruined it. Shame on you Met Office.

If you can't get my location right, what chance is there for the forecast?

This new version of the Met Office app is Appsolultly hideous!!
Black on black, dark and depressing.
Scrap it now, Sack whoever thought it was good.
Have you been hacked or are you looking to close down?
If it hasn’t gone back to the old one, it will be getting replaced by another Weather Service,

I hate the new app its sooooo dark and hard to use .... why did you need to fix something that wasn't broken! Please change it back. And by the way this has nothing to do with all of your users not liking or wanting change...sorry the app is awful.

The changes are terrible! all my stored favourite places have gone, the map doesn’t play anymore and where has the long range forecast gone? 0-10

Not great! The nearest location is now 4 miles away from me. I used to be able to get the forecast within a few meters of my location. I work outdoors and I'm very reliant on an accurate weather forecast for many of my activities (applying fertilisers, herbicides, etc.) on a day-to-day basis. As we know it can be sunny on one side of the street and pouring down on the other side. This update does not provide me with that precision.

The new weather app is a disgrace. All my saved locations have disappeared and it is now stuck on a location I do not recognise. The new design is illogical and difficult to navigate

New app is a disaster.
Could see information quickly and clearly in old app. New app half the screen space is wasted and the data I want is more difficult to access.
Seeing data from more than one location is way more clumsy in new app.
Who allowed this to happen?
I've deleted the app and installed a different weather app.

So disappointed, I used to be called Michael Fish for all my weather accuracy. Now I don’t even know left from right with this update. Bring back wind speed min & max, direction of wind initials and more than a 5 hour forecast in view.

Had the app refreshed over the weekend. Def not an improvement. Less user friendly. Terrible colouring and font. More difficult to add and keep places. Very disappointed

The New Met Office app is quite remarkably bad! Dumbed down, slow, absurd graphics, duplication, lack of information. Everything that others have mentioned.

The new Met Office app is possibly the worst change to an app imaginable. It makes you wonder if they have been hacked by a competitor to get them off the app market.
Whoever is in charge should carry out an investigation (not a review) into who is responsible for the decision to change what was a perfectly good app, was it checked before it went live, was it put through a user focus group, how much did it cost and whether or not whoever the designers were are actually over the age of 5.
A respected British success trashed in an instant.

Worst upgrade of an app I can remember

Please can we go back. The new widgets no longer fits on my home screen. AND the real feel temp by hour has gone!!! I work out outside and it was my absolute bible, especially in mid winter. Have had to switch to accu weather. Why would you lose such a useful function??? 😔😪

I have always used this weather app on a daily basis for my job, it was accurate, easy to navigate with all the info I needed on one screen, so why did they feel the need to, I would say upgrade it but I feel, along with many others that they have down graded it, it is awful, all the info is now spread over different pages and my current location weather is for the next town, was someone on the beers when they designed it?

From being an excellent, well set out app, it has become nearly useless and inconvenient. Fortunately I've been able to download a previous version from Uptodown App Store, and disabled updates to stop it happening again!

Appalling! The previous one was far better.Its clumsy and dumbed down.Where are the pressure charts?
Please bring the previous one back,at least as a choice.

The latest version is a complete animation. The information is probably there somewhere - how many screens before I get to it?
