I am extremely disappointed with Maya Easy Credit and I feel the need to share my experience so others are aware. First of all, their customer service is one of the worst I’ve ever encountered. Every time I try to reach them, I end up waiting on hold for a very long time. And when someone finally answers, instead of helping, the agents have a very bad attitude — they sound irritated, unprofessional, and careless about customers’ concerns. It feels like they don’t want to help at all, which is very frustrating especially when you’re calling about something important.
What makes it even worse is their policy itself. Even if you are a good payer who always pays on time, or even an advance payer, they don’t give any kind of privilege, consideration, or recognition. There are no benefits, no rewards, and no flexibility. It seems like they treat everyone the same, regardless of whether you are a responsible customer or not. For me, this is very unfair. Loyal and responsible users should at least be given some kind of advantage or appreciation.
Overall, Maya Easy Credit just causes more stress than convenience. The whole experience feels very one-sided — you pay them on time, but in return, you get poor service, zero consideration, and unprofessional customer support. Honestly, I expected so much better, but instead I’m left disappointed and frustrated.
To be honest, GCash is way better. They are more reliable, their customer service is more responsive, and their policies actually make more sense for good and responsible payers. Comparing the two, Maya Easy Credit feels like a downgrade. If they don’t improve their service and policies, I cannot recommend Maya Easy Credit to anyone.

I’m writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience I had with your Customer Service representative named Mitch, as well as the ongoing issue with an e-transfer transaction made from my Maya Wallet to GCash.
The transaction took place on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, and was marked as successfully transferred in your system. However, the amount has not been credited to the recipient’s GCash account up to this moment.
I have been patiently following up, and your system repeatedly stated that Maya is currently experiencing issues with e-transfers and advised me to allow 3 banking days for resolution. I waited as instructed.
This morning, I contacted your Customer Service again and explained the situation. Unfortunately, the response I received from Mitch was unhelpful and dismissive. Rather than providing a proper status update or assistance, she merely sent me generic links and advised me to "settle it with the account owner"—which is both confusing and inappropriate, considering the transfer was initiated and confirmed on your platform.
I am requesting:
A proper status update on the transaction.
An investigation into the conduct of the CS representative.
Assurance that this issue will be escalated and resolved promptly.
This situation has caused inconvenience and frustration, and I hope it can be addressed with the urgency and professionalism expected from Maya.

Trash customer support experience
Not pro-customer when it comes to victims of targeted phishing. My use of "targeted" here is intentional. They'll gatekeep you out of long ticket request processing, they even "temporarily" closed my account. Their customer support gave me wrong info on how to process documents, and even blamed me that I followed the wrong procedure, the same procedure they gave! What's the point of being proactive and doing due diligence if they do not even follow due process. They would simply make you wait weeks before they'll just close your case and put it in their trash bin. If I could give 0 or even negative stars, I would have done it with no hesitation whatsoever. Besides, it's in their name "Maya." Ma"Maya" na mentality. Unprofessional and unethical.

That gives you zero help.. Hope that you just give up...not trusting.. Cheat.. lieing..scamer... Same level as a common pick pocket

I Sent 2 transactions same amount last June 12 and it showed it will be recieved by june 13, but of course it has 2 different reference ID. But paymaya credited my account only 1 of the transactions. I guess they only look or check the amount but not the transaction ID maybe? Btw It's july 3 already and I still haven't credited and having a hard time to get my money back! Paymaya Sucks! Gcash will credited you right away if they made a mistake without even contacting customer service! Paymaya will tell you to wait 9 days and 5 days, 2 days an and an exact time and in the end they will tell you, there still no feedback. PAYMAYA sucks! Review for Maya Bank – Address Update Experience
Updating my address with Maya Bank has been an unnecessarily frustrating and exhausting process.
To start with, the support system is handled by a chatbot that makes it really hard to get through to a real person. You’re forced to go through repetitive questions and options, and only after several tries does it finally let you speak to a live agent.
But even after reaching a live agent, things didn’t get better. I was told to email docs-supportATmaya.ph, but the problem is — the instructions from the agent and the email support don’t match. One tells you to submit a certain set of documents, the other says something completely different. It’s confusing and honestly just frustrating to go back and forth, submitting the same information in slightly different formats only to be told it’s not enough.
Overall, the process is just too long and poorly coordinated for something that should be simple. It really feels like the support teams aren’t aligned, and as a customer, I end up stuck in the middle.
I hope Maya Bank seriously works on improving and streamlining their support — especially for basic requests like this. It would make a big difference in the customer experience.

Maya to Gcash bank. it did not arrive. i called support and after they checked it the said within 3 banking days it will be credited or back in the maya account. that was 11 days ago. nothing happened. After trying to do the account upgrade several times I always got messages by SMS like the data wouldn't have been complete, my name wouldn't match the one on my ID, the ID shouldn't be a copy and other reasons which are all of course absolutely incorrect.
When messaging the customer service concerning this, the AI chat was completely useless. When I managed to get in touch with any human, they asked after some data, but after I provided them and gave more details they simply stopped replying.
I never ever got any valid reason why my account upgrade failed or what could be a possible solution of my problems.
I can't remember to ever have faced a worse customer service before.
