I not only have Maui Jim Sunglasses, I have prescription Maui Jim Sunglasses; I could do an entire wonderful review of how much I love them and how great they are, but this review is about having to get them repaired by Maui Jim. I was devastated when the plastic piece on the arm snapped on my glasses as I rely on them and hate all my other pairs... I called Maui Jim and quickly opened up a repair case (person on the phone was great).. I received an email and included it in the box and sent them away. The day they were received, I received an email with tracking info that they were on their way back!!! When I received them, they came in a new case, wrapped like new, and looked like a brand new pair.. apparently they replaced everything (except my lenses -- I think)... I can't express what an amazing 10 out of 10 experience it was and the speed that I had them back was great! Best part -- NO CHARGE!!!!!!!! I even received the Tech's name (Alan) and his number in case I had an issue. So I can attest that Maui Jim not only makes such a great set of glasses, but if they break, the repair process is amazing!!!! Thank you Maui Jim

Have just received back a pair of Maui sunglasses from repair (UK). Reason for comment here is to recognise Julie and Tony for fantastic customer service. Currently and for a while now customer service with many other companies is awful. I cannot stress enough how efficient and professional these guys made my repair experience, fantastic.

Order# W001155764 Jaime Monge. Love em! Perfect. Extremely light on the face and thin. You CAN see the eyes of the person wearing them. I bought them thinking you could not because of the site version of the glasses. No biggie but may be to someone else.

Brought a pair of these sunglasses which broke not only once but twice. The first pair were replaced and it stopped there. Would not purchase these products again. Gone to different brand which is much better and have had them over 2 years without breaking.

Bad service and bad quality items. Like the ownership they sponsor.

Maui Jim’s customer service was amazing! I mailed in my glasses once my frame broke. I got a call within a few days reviewing my repair options and was told that the left lens was broken in half and was actually missing so I’d have to be charged for lens and frame. I expressed that it wasn’t that way when I mailed them and they honored my word and only charged me only for the frame. Amazing company and would definitely recommend!

2 year soft use of Maui Jim sunglasses and frame broke. Couple of months outside 2-y warranty, no replacement.

Sunglasses sent via optician agent to Maui Jim for lens replacement with a supposed 7-10 day turnaround. At £360 for both lenses these aren't exactly cheap. Took nearly a month in this hot sunny weather, no explanation just a verbal almost insincere apology via/from the optician. For first class price I would expect first class service. Second time I've had poor service from MJ (but can't fault their sunglasses, hence 2*).

One of the legs on my Big Beach sunglasses broke through age fatigue contacted MJ to see if they could help even though they have long been discontinued they repaired them free of charge all I had to pay was £12 return p&p etc but hey I still have the best pair of sunglasses I have ever had. My old MJs had to be returned after years of wear, because the frame broke.

So they couldn't fix, but instead provided a really good offer to buy a new pair at a significantly discounted price.

Came back from holiday to find the arm on my Banyans had broken.
Contacted Maui Jim UK ,they sent me a link to return them for repair,they were repaired and returned with in a week at the cost of £12.
Their team kept me updated throughout the process, couldn't ask for more👍🏻

I bought my first pair of Maui Jim sunglasses in the USA about 15 years ago. The best lenses I've ever had on sunglasses. Over time the coating on the arms chipped off. After 15 years of wear I wasn't surprised (I don't treat my sunglasses too well). Somebody suggested that I contact Maui Jim to see if they could repair the coating on the arms.
I contacted Maui Jim who said that they'd replace the arms for a handling fee of £12, so I sent them off.
Maui Jim informed me that the model I sent them had been discontinued and they couldn't get new arms.
Later Tony Barron emailed me to say that he'd contacted colleagues in the USA and had found a pair of frames. My sunglasses arrived a few days later as good as new.
Maui Jim have the best customer service I have ever encountered.

Have been an exclusive Maui Jim wearer for over 30 years...for good reason, quality and service! Recently sent in a pair of prescription sunglasses for repair to the Mississauga location. They replaced everything except the lens (obviously) and returned back to me with a week. Keep up the great service MJ ! You never fail to exceed expectations.

I recently sent my Maui Jim prescription sunglasses to be be repaired. The customer service and professionalism was nothing short of exemplary.The frames were 5 years old and i didn't think i would be able to get them repaired in time to go on holiday.
They were repaired and sent back in record time.

I bought a pair of prescription Maui Jim sunglasses through an authorized optician about 3 years ago. I paid a large sum for these glasses and lens. They work well and I was very happy with them. I treat them with huge respect using the bag and case for them always and never leaving them on my head or just sitting around. I also only use proper cleaning cloths and fluid. They were in amazing shape when I accidentally broke a lens. Through my optician I have been advised Maui Jim is now unwilling, at my cost, to replace the lens. I guess I am expected to throw the other lens and the frames in the garbage. This is ridiculous when it is apparent they have the technology and know- how to do so. I’m not asking for a deal, Just a right to have a repair done through an authorized Maui Jim optician at a fair price.

I recently needed help to repair my Maui Jim sunglasses.
The product is real quality and the support service is also excellent.
My glasses were badly damaged but the repair/ support team were absolutely brilliant, no drama , friendly and professional. I sent them the glasses and the very next day they emailed me that they could fix them , and how much that would be . I immediately called them , the guy was so helpful and they managed to repair and return them to me within 48hrs so I can take them back on holiday with me !
Cant thank them all enough, would have no hesitation in recommending MJ every time - top quality product - top quality support

I damaged the bridge of my much loved prescription lens sunglasses. Customer service kept me up to date at every stage, replaced the bridge and returned the sunglasses within a week. Thank you Maui Jim.

I have a pair of well-loved MJ’s that are probably 15 years old. A nose pad was lost recently and after visiting a couple of stores who couldn’t help, I went on line. MJ offer a repair / replacement service for the missing notepad for a handling fee of £11. I was unable to tell them the model number of the sunglasses because it had rubbed off from the arm.

Off went my glasses and they came back swiftly, with
- a new pair of nosepads
- a new bridge section
- 2 new arms
- a new case

All for the £11 handling fee.

Brilliant job by Mai Jim, exceeded my expectations, and my treasured glasses live on!

This is the best company that I’ve ever dealt with staff are amazing repairs team are brilliant sent them my broken sunglasses on a Monday I had them back on the Wednesday Glasses as good as new I would highly recommend the after sales is brilliant.
