I am a vegan, and I’m always looking to purchase ethical and vegan products. Unfortunately, I will not be buying Matt and Nat again.
I purchased rain boots in April 2023 to use in the fall. I started wearing them in Sept and within a few weeks a crack developed on the side. I emailed customer service for a replacement but they refused as I had passed the 3 month warrantee.
This is frustrating for 2 reasons. First I had only worn them for 1 month. And second, and more important, do they feel their boots only last 3 months!?
I won’t be buying Matt and Nat again, and will recommend against them to friends and family.

4-5 business days for a response is not adequate when spending near on £50 for a product. Then on top of that for the email to warn the customer not to email again otherwise your message will be pushed to the back of the queue is laughable. Returns process not clear either.

Not as eco-friendly as they make out, use of PVC and wrapped in plastic packaging.

AVOID!

Spent quite a lot on their sale. The bag I had chosen turned up damaged. Raised it with them and they sent a free returns label to exchange it for a non-damaged piece and I sent it back. 10 days later (after not hearing anything) I had to chase them to see if they had received my return, they informed me they had but the colour I had ordered was out of stock and they couldn't replace it for me. They asked me to choose another colour instead. I didn't like any of the colours left and asked if I could choose a different style bag and they told me I could only get a refund. Refused to offer any inconvenience discount or free shipping for my next order (for a different style!!!). So I think I will spend my money elsewhere. They don't seem to value their customers and this experience was time consuming and unenjoyable and I lost out on the bag I had originally purchased.

Not sure why I had to go out of my way to return a bag they sent to me that was damaged. Even more confused as to why (when they sent the returns label) they didn't reserve a replacement to send out.

Real lack of any sincere apology.

I bought a purse on their website. The quality and price did not match in my eyes, so I wanted to return it the same day I had received it. However, the customer service never got back to any of my emails, even if their automated response states a maximum response time of 4 days. My bank suggests to take legal action…
So I cannot recommend at all, neither the products themselves nor the seemingly incapable company behind them.

Ich habe eine kaputte Tasche erhalten (Verschluss war gebrochen). Das kann passieren, jedoch wird seit 3 Wochen nicht auf meine Return-Anfrage reagiert.

Never again will I buy from this company. The most uncomfortable shoes I have ever known. £36 down and the shoes in the bin. My feet are narrow but you wouldn't know it with these. Thought I'd at least
try salvaging some wear out of them by cutting the sides since they were non refundable, but nothing helped.

Terrible quality boots - soles made out of what I can only describe as foam. Tried to return and made to pay £12 shipping, despite their being an online only business in the UK. No solution via email, only referred to their impersonal policy. Won't be shopping here again. A shame as their online search visibility is strong and they're seemingly one of the only mid-market vegan brands. Two stars because of quick response rate.

The amazing assistance I got from the team when I encountered some problem on my orders is admirable. Without their efforts, I would already gave up, then, I won't know what I will be missing.

Love that your products are Canadian, vegan and stylish. Great price point as well.

shipping was a bit slow and I felt that the updates could have been better. otherwise everything else was good.

I was excited to visit an M&N store while on vacation, but they didn’t have the bag I wanted. Fortunately it was available online and arrived fairly quickly. However, there aren’t enough compartments and after less than a week, the leather on the handle is wearing off. I have several M&N bags and I’m incredibly disappointed in the quality of this bag.

I’m a bit annoyed about my recent experience with Matt & Nat. I ordered a pair of boots online. The shipping took about 10 days. When they arrived I discovered they had sent me the wrong size. I contacted customer service via email (there is no customer service phone number) they got back to me fairly quickly, asked me to send some photo’s and sent me a return label. They then told me that the correct size of boots would not be shipped out to me until the other pair had been delivered to their warehouse. So now I have waited 10 days to get the first pair of boots, 10 days to ship back the pair that they sent me that were incorrect, and now I have to wait for them to ship me the correct pair!? This just seems unacceptable to me considering that this was 100% their mistake! I feel like they should have expedited sending me a new pair so I’m not waiting weeks to get them.
