This estate agency is nothing but greedy, with zero care for their clients. Once they've got your money, you're just another number to them. Communication is poor, and they couldn't care less about your needs. Avoid them at all costs.

A huge ‘thank you’ to Matt, Oliver and all at Mansell. Their experience and professionalism helped overcome some tricky issues with our sale.

Took my property on in July 24 and I never got any viewing confirmations for any of the viewings that took place Only when I asked for updates did they tell me “oh we have a viewing tomorrow” but no details about the viewers name or position were ever provided, unless they became an offer. I wasn’t informed about surveyor visits as is my right and part of the code of practice for estate agents and lights were left on for weeks and mail left sat on the doormat.
Because the house was unoccupied, and I live in a different county, it appeared that they didn’t think I needed communication, and that it was acceptable to give me updates only when I asked for them. And then tell me “nothing was ever good enough” when I expressed my frustration.

Two sales were agreed and both fell through- I was told the second sale was being slow because of the searches from the chain below, but after research realised this was not the truth. The council had set up a new system to expedite searches! I assume that it was because the sale was not as progressed as I had been informed upon offer. When I informed them of my findings my communications were ignored.
The sale fell through weeks after.
One lost sale is unfortunate, two looks to be a pattern of poor chain management or due diligence.
There was no hunger to push either sale through or stay on top of the chain, unless I badgered for it.
My house remained off the market for a month whilst the second buyer tried to find a new buyer. When I asked for updates I was met with contempt because “they would be told if a buyer was found.” It was clear that my expectation of some form of update or communication was met with extreme annoyance.
I took the property off the market with them in December 24, and received a very bitter email from their agent.
Since then, they haven’t communicated once with me, not even to send a formal termination letter, or a list of viewings that took place with them, as is required by the code of practice.
They were clear to communicate, however, that should any of the anonymous viewings progress to a sale that a fee would still be liable!
The viewing list was only sent to the new agent and not to me as the property owner. I’m still waiting for it. It’s appalling.
If I were to use three words to describe my experience with this agent I’d say greedy, dormant and caustic.

DISGUSTING COMPANY DO NOT USE. We have a new born baby and reported mould at the property. Not only did they say this is an ongoing issue they knew about before we moved in, they refused to send someone out to inspect or treat the mould, putting my baby's safety at risk!

We found Mansell McTaggart thorough and on the ball from the point of valuation, throughout the viewings and the sales progression. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend the Patcham branch.

Jo and her team in the Storrington branch are fabulous. Mansell Mctaggart secured a sale for our home within days of it being marketed. The presentation of our property was superb, photography did it proud. We were kept updated throughout our sale and purchase at all times . Although an extremely stressful time the team were very approachable and certainly helped out with all involved taking a lot of the pressures off us. We would definitely recommend Jo and her team and would use again in the future.

Disappointing experience with Haywards Heath branch as a potential buyer of a property that they were selling/managing. Substandard communication throughout the entire process from start to finish with us regularly chasing for updates which was massively elongated due to the sellers 'changing their minds' after we had, had our offer accepted, engaged a solicitor and paid for searches to be completed on the property. The entire situation could have been avoided if the sellers were onboarded correctly with Mansell Mc Taggart to ensure that they were 100% certain about marketing and selling their property. Make sure you get everything formalised in writing to protect yourself should anything go wrong like it did in our situation.

Brilliant service from a friendly and experienced team! Right from the start Jamie came and organised a great video that completely showcased our house. The attention to detail on the house particulars were clear and the photos taken by Jimmy were excellent. Our house sold very quickly but took a long time to go through due to the bottom of the chain falling through twice. I really believe that if Mansell's had control of the bottom of the chain it would have been a lot smoother but Karl and Andrew did an absolutely fantastic job keeping on top of every aspect of the chain and keeping us informed of progress. If you are considering selling your house, these are the people to sign up with. Highly recommend

Jamie at Haywards Heath branch has been extremely helpful concerning a house my son has inherited with a tenant. Nothing in it for him as house not this area but spent time explain the best way forward. Thank you Jamie.

Uckfield branch have been super helpful and kind throughout the process. Although the vendor was a bit tricky, Trevor kept is in the loop and ensured that the sale went through smoothly.

From start to finish our experience was exceptional. The team worked promptly, always kept us informed and updated on any issues. Our move went smoothly thanks to Anise, Jo and Paul. I would highly recommend them.

We had a few different agents from the Storrington and Billingshurst branches dealing with our sale. Unsure if we definitely wanted to sell, we took things slowly and were supported initially with a soft sell approach. After getting our house valued last year, we decided not to sell and informed the team in the Horsham branch back in July we were not interested in selling and we would be in touch if things changed. Since then, emails, missed calls even blocking a number still getting hounded every other week! Seriously un professional and definitely when we do sell they won’t be the estate agent of choice!

This was the 2nd estate agent we tried to sell our house with. The service was great the team are so friendly and knowledgeable they worked really hard to sell our house and were always available by phone and email if we needed to contact them. I wish I’d used them in the first place but going forward I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and recommended them to others.
