I rarely leave reviews but this experience needs to be shared.

I subscribed to a Business plan to use Seedance for a client project. After subscribing I was told I had to switch to a business email which was not clearly mentioned before. I did it within an hour but then had no access or solution for more than 30 hours.

During that time I used a lot of credits trying to find alternatives and ended up missing my client deadline which impacted my work and credibility.

What disappointed me the most is the support. For almost 3 days I mainly received generic responses with no real help or urgency.

In the end I was given 4000 credits which is basically the equivalent of one Seedance 2.0 generation so it feels very low compared to the impact.

Coming from a competing platform with much faster and more effective support this was very frustrating especially for the price.

Great browser software for AI products, along with stock content, but the auto-purchase is extremely shady and I feel borderline illegal in the states. Make sure you tick it off and are aware of any auto-renewals.

I bought Premium plan and paid $49, however, all sections has problem.
on image generation, I can't increase generation output more than 1.
the video generation doesn't work and it failed.

And zero stars are too much for these scammers.
I had a contributor account with them for over 2 years. I started by testing a few packaging mockup files (about 20) that were made to all their requirements and at a high level. Then I added texture files. I had some sales, but Freepik pays so little that in those 2 years I collected 2 euros. Now their measly two euros are left with them because Freepik deleted my contributor profile without giving me an explanation of where the problem was and without giving me the opportunity to correct it. Their support is not worth it. They are complete idiots. Freepik are complete scammers. I also use them as a resource for graphic materials - their quality is very bad. Their mockups are way worse than mine, which they deleted.
Stay away from these scammers.

They just sent me the worst kind of phishing spam. So, I don't have to have dealt with them to know they're crooks.

freepik is happy to take your money then censor what you create ... not worth the hassle - and it is ridiculous they try to hide behind the distributed paywall when it is their platform meaning they can set the rules of engagement ie not categorically censoring content critical of trump but they choose to try to have it both ways ... freepik goes as far as changing the interface to remove user control to ensure they completely control what content is created NONE OF THE CONTENT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT IS UNSAFE AND MAY ONLY BE NONCOMPLIANT PER BEING CRITICAL OR NON SYCOPHANT TO THE REGIME

I have been trying to get Freepik to respond to a ticket raised regarding fraudulent amounts of money being deducted from our account, I just cant get any response.
Freepik can someone respond please.

Support will take forever to get back to you! I have been trying to login into my account after my email was recently deactivated, I have so much work locked into that account and they take so long to respond to your query, despite the fact that I am a Premium+ member! Even if you respond an hour after they email you, it will take them so long to respond to you! It's super frustrating dealing with this.

Es un auténtico desastre. Te da resultados directamente contrarios al prompt que escribes. Por ejemplo, le pides algo "negro" y te lo da gris, blanco, o en llamas que no le has pedido. No es un sistema de trabajo-resultado, sino de apuestas. Apuestas a que te va a dar lo que buscas, que puede ser, o muy probablemente no. Lo que es seguro es que tu dinero en forma de créditos y tu tiempo, sí que los vas a perder. Hasta 20 (20!!!!) intentos para hacer un travelling sencillo.Además, el flujo de trabajo es horroroso. A veces hay que esperar varios minutos, especialmente en creación de vídeos y variaciones de imágenes. A eso hay que añadirle que la mayoría de prompts no sirven de nada, los resultados van en contra de la petición, cambiando estilos visuales por completo, etc. Eso destroza por completo la manera de trabajar, no puede ser que acabe siendo, meto prompt, espero, luego meto otro, espero... Estás más tiempo parado que haciendo algo. Por otra parte, han introducido muchas nuevas funcionalidades, pero una vez más, se vuelven inútiles si intentas extender un vídeo indicando "sin cortes" y lo que hace es cortarlo por sistema. Eso no es extenderlo, es pegar otro vídeo detrás, encima cambiando de nuevo el estilo visual. Además, después de ajustar parámetros básicos como salida de variaciones de imágen a 16:9, en la siguiente vuelven a salir a 1:1, hay que estar cambiándolo en cada iteración o si no, te consumen créditos en balde. Para ajustar la voz, no puedes meter un vídeo de duración superior, en la que por ejemplo el personaje hace un acting (suspirar, mirar a otro lado, prestar atención) y luego habla, porque no hay un agerramienta tan básica como ajustar la línea de vídeo y la de audio. Es que de verdad... Y, todo ello, mientras te cobran créditos por darte resultados a todas luces inválidos. No conozco ninguna otra empresa a la que se le permita cobrar igual por ofrecer un resultado claramente insatisfactorio.

Es increíble la cantidad de funcionalidades nuevas que tiene. Aunque creo que podría ser más intuitiva.

Fraud website I Got charged on 20 Dec 2025 and my Account is left using it in 2024 then what mean of doing auto charges again even the account is in Status of Inactive even i received the official freepik mail but you guy charged and it's about 4 month's now of waiting and barking that someone atleast check and refund my money but no one cares about it. I will continue post about the Update's and review till the freepik team check it on Ground Level ... In Name of Account suspend or Inactive I can't accept that it's my mistake. if your stripe payment's auto charged then in your policy clearly mention that if no use of service even it's auto charged or debited I can claim the refund then now no mean of Claiming anything Even i have better solution's than freepik as of now . I want my refund in any condition as ignoring just cause of continue review's and Update about your fraud platform

Hello, freepik team i said that you charged me a 8700 INR of 2 amount's via Auto renewal feature in Stripe and in that case there is comment from your team on my last Reply that " if account suspended " It mean your team should revoke also the Renewal but they keep it on top priority to Charge customer even the account is suspend. My Account closed in 2024 and it's currently 2026 .. Your team charged me the 8700 INR 2 amount's from my Same Card in name of Renewal if it's Suspended then on what basis You charged me renewal ? or Decided to Charge and enjoy with my money ?

Así te cobran dos veces para una suscripción.

To be fair, Freepik is not a complete scam—they do provide the design assets they promise. That is why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. However, their business model relies heavily on "grey schemes," misleading marketing, and a completely broken support system.

First, they aggressively advertise "unlimited" access, but in reality, there is no true unlimited (but rather unlimited to some extend); hidden restrictions apply. Second, their policy regarding additional VAT and taxes is very strange, inconsistent, and lacks transparency.

But the absolute worst part is their technical platform and non-existent customer service. I paid for a premium subscription and simply tried to change my login email for convenience. A confirmation link went to my old email, but absolutely NOTHING was sent to the new one. After I approved the change via the old address, their system glitched and forcefully activated Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) — a feature I had explicitly disabled! Now, I am permanently locked out of my paid account because their system fails to send the 2FA codes to my new email. The critical bug is entirely on their end, making it impossible to log in.

What did support do? Absolutely nothing. I have opened 6 different support cases. I reached out on Discord. I have been completely ignored for days. The only replies I get are useless, generic AI-generated templates. Not a single human being has tried to resolve this.

To Freepik representatives who will reply to this review: Do NOT leave your standard, copy-pasted comment saying, "We are sorry, please give us your case number." Save it. It is absolutely pointless. I do not want to continue working with you, and I do not want you to "look into my case" anymore. I am canceling my payment method and leaving. This review is here strictly as a warning to future users.

To anyone considering Freepik: Before you give them your money, filter their Trustpilot reviews by "Newest". You will clearly see that they regularly mislead users, have severe technical bugs that lock you out of your account, and their customer service is awful. Take your money to more reliable alternatives like Figma (weavy) or other professional platforms.
