29/04/2023 I "purchased" a Refurbished Apple Macbook Pro 13.3/i7-6920HQ/16GB RAM/256GB SSD/460 4GB/15"/A (Late 2016) Silver computer online from Mac4Sales. Affordable price, I'm in the middle of college and I was looking for an inexpensive computer for studying. The order number is MFS1000009941. Delivery time 3-5 days. I paid £335 on the Newpay instalment scheme. That is, I have started the instalment scheme. After a few days of silence I became concerned, the shop did not respond and finally after many reminders I found out that the order was cancelled and a refund would be made within 14 days. Generally communication with them is very difficult. They do not respond to emails, the supposed active chat actually serves to bouncing the customer off the door. The computer is not there and it never will be, I am waiting for a possible money return which should be around 6 June. In the meantime ( I am stupid because I should have done it earlier) I read the reviews of the shop and my heart stopped. I don't know what to do. I am not a millionaire. I buy a lot online and this is my first experience. So disastrous. I reported them to Action Fraud. And to the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB) and several other governmental organisations. Another day on chat with their "consultant" and another wasted day and more promises. That the transfer had already been sent, that everything was taken care of from their side. I feel this is another wool over the eyes. Avoid this "shop" like the fire. Strangely enough I can't get proof of the transfer either. Talking like a wall. I don't know whether I'm talking to a resident of a special care home or a "pseudo-consultant" of Claire, Fatima etc. These seem to be the ones they "employ" a lot. Every now and then I speak to someone else. For a company in a barracks, I think they have a Customer Center at least like Microsoft. I'm not done with them yet. And I won't. I will leave the rubble of this pseudo company. I advise against it no less and I advise against it again. And again. I advise against it no less and I advise against it again. Avoid this shop and someone should do away with them once and for all. We say no to scammers.

Examples of answers:
"but no need to worry i have told my manager and your refund will be with you soon"
"i understand that you are feeling frustrated and i apologize for the inconvenience that you have faced. your refund is in mid process as we have contacted your payment method and it will transferred to you in the upcoming week"
"the refund will be with you soon as it is cleared at our end"
"it is not the company's policy. just be assured that you will receive the refund as we have cleared it at our end."
"We have cleared the refund from our side the rest is up to your bank. It may take a few days for the money to reach your bank account. As takes 5–10 business days for funds to settle."
etc.

I also don't understand how credit organisations can work with such 'shops' Do they completely fail to check these fake companies? If Newpay had not approved my loan today I would be sleeping soundly. Also a shame and it was the last time I used their services.

After a long battle, the money was returned. My nerves are shattered. I won no less. I will not recommend this shop even to my greatest enemy. Just avoid mac4sale. There are a million other more professional places where you can buy used apple equipment. Where the customer is treated like a guest. And if you have already stepped into this mess don't give up.

I ordered a refurbished Macbook from this company via their website on 27/3/23. I received my receipt confirming the order. 10 working days pass and having not heard from the company nor received my order, i call the number on the website. First red flag: the automated response says 'Safe PC Disposal' not 'Mac4Sale'. I speak to someone who identifies herself as Fatima, who takes my order number and says I should receive a call back 'in an hour or two' which never came.

I follow up with an email requesting order cancellation and a refund. I get an apologetic email back with an offer for a Macbook with an even better spec at a discounted rate as 'compensation'. Not that I was interested by this time, but the photos they sent looked like they'd been taken by a toddler playing with a phone. I also receive a phone call from 'Fatima' repeating what she said in the email. I declined. I then received an email confirming my request and that I would receive a full refund of £670 in 7-10 working days. 13 business days later I'd yet to receive my refund. I called several times to no avail and also emailed with the same result. Complete radio silence.

These are some unscrupulous, unprofessional scammers and they certainly haven't heard the last of me yet. Avoid at all costs!

SCAM - AVOID
I bought a MacBook which the website said was in stock. Website state’s delivery in 3-5 days. It didn’t arrive. I tried calling their customer service, but no answer. Ever. I was eventually able to online chat with some who said it would be delivered later in the week. So I waited. It didn’t arrive. So I chatted again and they assured me it would be delivered the next week. So I waited. It didn’t arrive. I was then told it had failed testing and a new one was being ordered. I requested a refund. THEY WERE SO RUDE they were saying that it will impact on their reputation if I get a refund!!! Eventually they agreed to a refund but refused to send me an email to confirm. I had to wait 14 days for a refund, then guess what? I never received it!! I had to chase them again for the confirmation and I eventually got the refund.
AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY ARE COWBOYS

Note to the team at Mac4sale reading this:
I have started a police investigation as well as a dispute with Action Fraud and have contacted the Insolvency service, just reimburse me!

To potential customers reading this:
Mac4sale are an absolute scam, the product wasn't in stock (which happens) but then I never got reimbursed for it and now have a credit I need to pay back for a product I never received!

Good news is that they are about to be in big trouble.

Shocking experience overall.

A bit of confusion when I initially purchased a fan. But there were swift responses and an excellent outcome where the company remained in contact with myself from purchase to delivery.

I was really struggling to complete my purchase, Fatimah was patient with me and eventually we completed the job between us. If only all customer service people were as helpful....... Thank you.

Very good products at affordable prices. Very happy with the products I received. Arrived on time I had a little problem phoned for help they were very good at talking me through it, sorted quickly, good communication throughout.
I would happily recommend a friend and if I need in the future I would definitely buy from there again.

Wonderful experience was all the help i got from the team. I had an issue with the machine ,however kudos to the support team. Very supportive and got it fixed over the phone. very Sophisticated and helpful experience.

SCAM COMPANY AVOID.
Bought an item listed as 20 items IN STOCK, never arrived & was given the runaround for a few weeks (it's getting tested etc) before they told me that that they didn't have the item in stock afterall, offered me a laptop with 50% of the RAM for the same price. I asked for a refund, which was guaranteed in 14 days according to their website. It's now been over 2 weeks and I've had to get my bank involved as no refund has arrived. I have reported the site to the National Cyber Security Centre as a scam website

UPDATE: since posting this, the company has taken the time to change their website to list the item as out of stock, but still has not initiated a refund. Fraudulent company covering their tracks

I found the whole process easy and efficient. My old Mac was collected on the day they said and a reference number was given to me. I have since had email contact and it was received in good condition.

23rd Jan: Ordered £1600 MBP 16" 2019 model.
31st Jan: Called them because I had no update on my order. No delivery, order was still on processing. Was told I would receive tracking information on Friday that week. (4 day shipping doesn't seem to be standard.)
3rd Feb: Received a tracking number as promised, but no delivery was made as DPD wasn't handed the package.
6th/7th Feb: Attempted to call but no calls were going through. Calls were ended. Sent an email, no reply.
8th Feb: I called again, not connecting. Immediately called on my work phone (diff number) and someone answered. Got told my item would be delivered Friday.
10th Feb: My order was actually delivered on Saturday.

In terms of the laptop I'm very happy, as described, perfect condition. Just not happy that I have to chase so much to receive my order.

After several emails, letters and telephone calls, this company took almost 3 months to provide a replacement for a faulty iPad. Thank you. But it really shouldn’t take quite so long.

Excellent service from presale, machine delivery/collection, and setup once received. Thoroughly recommend Mac4Sale to other prospective Mac purchasers.

I ordered a refurbished Smart Keyboard for an iPad on 12th Dec and it arrived on 21st via DPD. I could not get it to connect with the iPad and ended up phoning Mac4Sale to ask for advice. Their technician was very helpful, in that I finally got it to connect. However the connection remains rather unstable, as I have to push the iPad slightly to the right while it's sitting in its magnetic strip every time I unfold the keyboard again.

Mac4Sale.co.uk - SCAM COMPANY PLEASE BEWARE

TLDR: Company sent me the wrong config laptop a month late, I returned the laptop and still after 4 months of emailing and calling they still refuse to refund me nearly £3000.

In June, I ordered an Apple MacBook Pro with a UK English Keyboard layout for nearly £3000 which was supposed to arrive in 4 days. After many ignored emails and phone calls, the laptop eventually arrived a month late.

Once the laptop arrived I opened the box and the laptop had some dents and scratches on it, but the main problem was that the keyboard had a different physical layout than the one that I requested, ordered and confirmed with the company after ordering. I immediately emailed the company pointing this out and even included pictures of the differences between a genuine UK MacBook and the one they sent. I also requested a return label and a refund.

I eventually got a return label after many requests and sent the laptop back and once received they said that they would either get me the correct laptop or refund me within 10 days.

They didn't. I emailed and called them many times and they kept on saying that they would update me or it will take a few days, and after another month they said that they can't get the correct laptop. I told them that I wanted a refund and they said that they would refund me within 2 weeks.

They didn't. Still now nearly 4 months later they refuse to refund me and keep on saying that they have problems refunding my order and it will take a few days to sort it out.

IT DOESN'T TAKE 4 MONTHS TO GO TO THE ORDER DETAILS AND PRESS REFUND ORDER!!

The only option I have now it to get a lawyer and take the company to court to get my money and damages, as this appears to be the only way to get my money back and get the UK authorities to look into this company as they have broken the UK Distance Selling Regulations.

Through doing some research, I know that they also trade under other company names so when I get the complete list of other companies I can update this review so that no none else has to go through this.

So far I have found out that they also trade under SafePC Direct, SafePC Disposal and Refurb Mac.

Bought a laptop monitor at very reasonable price from this company. Farhan kept in touch with me when I faced a few issues and helped resolve them quickly and efficiently. Great service, awesome ppl. Will defo buy again and recommend!

Great customer support and great product

I pushed a 2015 Mackbook pro from them, there was an issue with the shipment, I reach out to them and I was companciated with a greater laptop and a same day shipment. It shows that they are caring and looking after their customers to top it off there is actually no wait time when you contac them.
