Can't fault it whatsoever, the price of the specs are great value, the process was simple and straight forward. The only issue is the time it takes from order to deliver, that said it's reflected in the price of the service. Also with good planning, it's not an issue, you continue to use your current specs, until the new ones arrive. Look forward to ordering more in the future

My experience of the website was excellent, as it is very easy to navigate. The choice of glasses is also excellent but my only problem was the delivery - what should have been 5-7 days took several weeks? However, eventually, I was pleased with the service I received from customer services, giving the explanation. I have dealt with Low Cost Glasses many times and will continue to do so - I would recommend them.

Glasses were awful wrong prescription as I could not read with them. They also came tinted which I did not request. Waste of money sent emails got no response then today they want a review. My advice is they give very poor customer service

Great glasses and great value

Go elsewhere for glasses. Ordered glasses with a promise of 4 to 7 days for production. It’s now 19 days and no sign of them. I’ve Emailed them a number of times and they’ve completely ignored me. I used this company a few years ago and they were ok, there now seems to be a problem with the company judging by people having the same experience as me. I now really wish I had bought them off the high st or another company that offers a customer service.

***Update: 06/10/25. The company have eventually replied to my mails and my order is being processed with my prescription attached. I will update further once the order is received ****
I ordered 7 pairs of simple prescription reading glasses on the 26th sept, and uploaded a photograph of my prescription…7 times. After reviewing my Order, my prescription details aren’t attached to any of the glasses. I have tried to contact the company via email 5 times and have received no replies. My order still states processing, 9 days later.

Ordered my glasses on the 16th of September 25. Emailed them three days later to ask if they received my prescription, no answer.
Reached out five days ago to ask for an update via their website, no answer. Glases are still in production, not even shipped yet. Trying to get my money back via PayPal now, this is ridiculous!

The glasses didnt meet my needs, they gave me headaches.
I contacted the company through 2 different avenues and they havent replied

I love my new varifocals, I had them transitional too, which is all I want in a pair of glasses. I went for cheap frames because I liked the colour & I get a lot of compliments for them, yet, they were a fraction of the cost than I have paid in the past. The overall experience was fair, glasses took a while to come & communication was on the low side, however when I did contact them asking where my glasses were they did reply straight away, & a message again to say they were on the way. To be fair I will order from them again, & I have recommended them.

Two pairs of glasses two separate orders both pairs turned out the same,apart from the close reading part of the lense the rest cloudy and blurred never had any like this not being able to see clearly through the rest of the lense. Can't even see to walk around the house in them never mind drive no good for me at all.wasted a month or more trying to resolve?

I received a variety of messages regarding Order Number 1054795 between 11th August 2025 (thank you for your order); 23rd August (being shipped - this was; however, not to indicated timeframe!!); 23rd August (being shipped); 29th August (being shipped) and the latest message on 12th September saying my order has been shipped). THE GLASSES WERE DELIVERED ON 1st September! What on earth is going on!!!!!?

After a trial run of ordering a single pair, I have now ordered so many pairs of glasses from Low Cost Glasses that I have lost count. They are all brilliant and exceptional value. Highly recommended, especially, if like me, you want a pair in several rooms of your house!

Terrible! Glasses I purchased broke within 6 months of purchase. Low Cost Glasses started the process of supplying a replacement but did not complete it, they just redirected me to their website to make a new purchase. VERY POOR SERVICE.

Ordered a pair of reading glasses, sent in my prescription. When they arrived I couldn’t see through them. So I emailed and explained the situation they apologised and asked for a copy of my prescription which I then sent to them through email after that nothing no reply no thank you for your prescription nothing.since since then I have emailed them another two times still no reply also want is to get my money back and for me to return the glasses back to them. They say free returns in 30 days on their website but there’s no address to actually return the glasses too. This company is an absolute waste of space please, please don’t order from them. You’re never going to get your money back if your glasses are not right.

Great recommended. Researched frames looking for. sometimes can't find what need on high street. Or if frames be discontinued you have find alternative method recommended again

Experienced a problem with my frame, after numerous ignored emails finally got an answer offering replacement as soon as possible,3 weeks later no replacement and back to ignoring emails ,I would suggest people buy glasses anywhere but here shocking customer service, buy cheap buy twice

Great company to deal with, speedy and efficient. The company even contacted me to advise me that the particular lens grade i had ordered was not required for my prescription and refunded me the difference.

I have used low cost a number of times, the product has always been good and delivered in around two weeks depending on specifics.
