I found the home exchange a nice approach to visit new places without relevant fees. Furthermore it represents an opportunity to have contacts with new potential friends.

We recently returned to being listed on a house swap website and have been very pleased with lovehomeswap. It allows you to communicate well, has a lot of listings around the world and is modern and easy to use, especially the messaging. So far, we’ve had one very successful swap have considered lots of others, we’ve got another lined up and have had lots of interest in our place! This type of service does rely on quick responses otherwise it’s frustrating when trying to plan. The website has some good features to give you a nudge if somebody needs a response. Very happy

Lovehomeswap are great to deal with. We’ve had many wonderful swaps over the years and it saves a fortune.

Our latest swap in France was our best yet.

Some of the members are a let down though. Some are slow to respond if they respond at all. Some have dirty, cluttered, worn houses and don’t say that or show it in the photos which is dishonest.

There should also be more transparency over how good people are at responding instead of these vague headings like ‘good responder’.

Also houses with a full five star rating should appear top of the listings. As should the best responders.

Don’t hesitate to use this company. They’re great!

Being able to experience life as a local is what makes this site invaluable, but what made our most recent home swap extra special, was enjoying the company of our like-minded hosts.

The website is great. More particularly, where I do have questions the people at Love Home Swap are very quick to respond and have always addressed whatever question or difficulty I had.

The location and the variety of accommodation at LHS.

The charge to use points was a nasty surprise, considering I pay an annuals charge .

A swap was made between me and a client who owns two homes. We visited both homes, but wrote the details all under one house. I asked the office to send me a link to the second house so I could review it as well. The link was sent pronto and I was able to review while the details were all fresh.

Once again your site provided us with a perfect stay with another like minded home sharer.

I am presuming the review is about LHS and nt the swap itself. I do not have any issues around the swaps themselves as we have managed to get 16 days in three countries over our 5 week holiday and have seen great value. I do have an issue though when I tried to use points for a booking in July and am told I have to pay another years subscription in order to access these points that I have earned painstakingly over time. It is not that I am not planning to renew but feel more than a little misled. The second issue is that a few years ago I paid a premium to LHS to find a solution for a large family holiday and after a few suggestions not much happened. So yes I am finding value but these two things made me grumpy. While I am at it I would think that you would have provided a conversion formula for points with the sale to Home Exchange. I am currently presuming it will be at least one to one. Regards Philip

Love home swap continues to provide excellent care and quick response times to any of my issues. I am apprehensive to see how the merger will go with Home Exchange and if the level of care remains so high!

The website is poor on possibilities in saving selections, saving favorites etc. Furthermore, it's very slow

I found LHS staff very responsive to my requests for help and explanation, even if they had to go through the processes more than once.
