London Door Company Anmeldelser

We had a fantastic experience with The London Door Company from start to finish. The quality of the product is outstanding – beautifully made, solid, and finished to perfection. The fitting team were efficient, clean, and clearly expert at what they do, leaving everything immaculate.

Customer service was excellent throughout, with everything delivered on time and exactly as promised. Above all, we want to highlight the personalised service from Amanda, who guided us through the entire process with great advice, integrity, and genuine care. Her expertise and attention to detail gave us complete confidence, and we always felt in safe hands.

We have no hesitation in recommending The London Door Company to others – they exceeded our expectations in every way.

London door company is very good when it comes to the sale but after that the customer service is not good, our doors had to be repainted at the beginning and the person sent took ages to do the work, now after some months parts of the doors came out and you can see the locks, also one of the doors was not well fixed at the top leading to the door not being able to open and close. I have asked for an emergency appointment and I am still waiting to hear from them.

We just had our new door installed and couldn't be happier! It's really beautiful and although it was pricey, we both feel that it is really good quality and you can tell. The fittings are really stunning and it's very secure, a lot better than what we had before! Our fitters were incredibly hard working and they did a brilliant job.

This company fitted a really lovely door for me in January. The fitting is very good as it should be for nearly £9 grand! The painter although lovely managed to get paint on the doorstep that i'm not sure how to remove. I also have a problem with the glass steaming up and although it disappears i'm not sure in the long term whether it will leave residue. The paint chips very easily (Luckily they leave small pots of touch up paint) and also the brass door hardware scratches easy too! I think time will tell whether this was a good investment or not!

Beautiful door... we cannot stop looking at it!

The door, the stain glass and the door furniture are all stunning and well crafted.
The fitters Roberto and Sandel were amazing on the day and worked tirelessly to ensure the door was completed in a day.

The way the sun light streams thru the glass and into the hall is just magical.

Sounds daft but may favourite bit is how the door sounds when it closes... heavy with a swoosh. love that!

The overall service received from London Door co has been excellent. Right from the start their attention to detail has been impressive and nothing seemed too much trouble.

But it was the door fitter who was the icing on the cake. He arrived on time with a cheerful demeanour and answered our many questions courteously, with none of that bored eye rolling of some workmen. He took time to ensure the door fitted perfectly and that door knobs, knockers and alarm system were positioned exactly where we wanted. On completion, he cleared away all debris leaving the hall immaculate and with small pots of paint in the new door colour for our future use. It had been a pleasure having him in our home. Such an ambassador for London Door Company.

We are delighted with our smart, modern door, with the extra security it brings and the accurate fitting that has eliminated all draughts.

They were very responsive during the design process -- a new front door is not a cheap piece of kit and they took the time and trouble to get the small details right, which means we ended up with just what we were looking for. Complicated fanlights meant quite a bit of extra work (and extra visits) for the fitters but it was all very well done.

I'm quite a difficult customer, so after a couple of issues regarding payments and procedures, we paid the deposit and the process started. From start to completion took about 2 months. The main point is that we are very pleased with the end product. It is a beautifully crafted door with stained glass. A work of art! The fitters were well trained and got the job done in a day.

We used London Door Company to replace our front door in our previous home so did not hesitate to contact them again when we wanted to replace the front door in our new home.
From start to finish the service received was first class. Everyone involved during the process was knowledgable and incredibly helpful and professional- nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much for another wonderful job!

quality service and product throughout. I really felt it was a professional service, and having dealt with many trades people throughout our renovation, I was able to relax a little with this one.

We had a great experience with London Door Company. The design process was very detailed (we opted for a traditional stained glass with custom design). We also customized the locks in brass colour. The team was very understanding when at the end of the installation we weren't happy with the lack of a backflap (with opted for a high end finish and the absence of the backflap was exposing the spring mechanisms of the front post box). The backflap was installed by LondonDoor at no additional charge for us. Very much appreciated!

Excellent company, lovely door and great door fitters

The London Door Company were a pleasure to deal with from the beginning.
We received a brochure in no time to go over the latest offers; however, they offered to customise their products to our needs.
We received then a visit of one of their consultants who was extremely helpful and made the appropriate suggestions to improve our choices. He then sent us a mock up of the design with all details for us to approve before starting any work.
The installation team did a superb job. They were clean in their work, very well mannered, accommodating and professional.

London Door Company are a fantastic team of professionals who care about their job, reputation and clients.

I definitely recommend London Door Company.

The London Door company make without doubt the finest doors, you can read that from virtually every review on here, however I had issues with mine.
The handmade leaded glass failed.
It became apparent that a few pieces of the glass had cracked, (possibly in transit, possibly in the making) very feint to see, but the internal misting between the glazed glass panels was evident.
Some paintwork was also required.

I have read on previous reviews a couple of disappointments with after sales, this was looking like being far from a satisfactory outcome.

However, my experience was a complete contrast to that, without a doubt the after sales I received was the best I have ever received from any company.

The glass was remade in it entirety (6 pieces, which took about 14 days) so as the match was guaranteed, (remember this is handmade) a carpenter who had worked within the company for almost 40 years (Peter) arrived at my house removed/replaced the glass and replaced all the wood beads to hold in situ., did an amazing job in zero damage to the door itself.
The very next day the painter arrived at 8am and was there until 4pm completely painting and re-finishing the work.
Being I restore/collect high end classic cars, I was expecting to be underwhelmed it’s that eye for detail, however I could not have been more incorrect again, the work was exemplary, well done Raff.

To conclude, issues arise from time to time, is about how they are rectified, I dealt with ‘Darren Fowler, (head of operations), he made a visit to the house, assured me of complete satisfaction guaranteed and regularly updated me with progress on the making of the glass, and a time schedule, he personally oversaw the rectification through to completion, making a visit with in days to inspect the work carried out in person, a real credit to the company in his personable skills and knowledge of the product.

Comprehensive, professional and care, are the words I should have headed this review with, but that would have been much the same as the other reviews before this one..

I cannot recommend this company enough, the price of the product is by a country mile worth every penny..
A BIG well done!!

We are delighted with our new door and so are our friends and neighbours. In fact we may well be setting a new trend. Special thanks to Tom for his expertise, patience and very pleasant manner. He met with us and helped us chose our door and inset glass design. He replied promptly to emails and tweaked the plans bit by bit to be exactly what we wanted. Our door wasn't cheap but we are very satisfied. It's a real quality product.

Great service, amazing quality. Process was easy from start to finish. This is our 2nd door purchased from the London Door Company and can safely say it's well worth the investment.

From start to finish, our experience with London Door Company was outstanding. The initial in-home consultation was handled with professionalism — no hard sell, just a clear presentation of the many options and approaches available to us. It made the decision-making process much easier and more enjoyable.

The site survey was carried out quickly and efficiently, and our door with surrounding windows arrived well within the promised timeframe. Installation day was a standout. The fitters were absolutely first class: friendly, attentive, and clearly very skilled at what they do. We had some concerns about how the installation might affect our pebbledash exterior wall, but they managed the removal and fitting with impressive care, leaving minimal impact to the surround.

To complete the job, a painter was sent out to apply the final finishing touches to the door and frame — a small detail that really rounded things off and reinforced the company’s commitment to quality. We’re delighted with the result and would certainly recommend London Door Company to anyone considering a similar upgrade.

The London Door Company installed a front door and side window for us in April 2025. Their service was fantastic: personable, intelligent and professional from the initial contact through the surveyor and the two great Italian lads that installed it. More specifically they accommodated my bespoke stained window design and worked with my builders to agree a later installation date for the window that worked for all. Fantastic service and would recommend.

Very happy with our new door. Enzo was very helpful when it came to the design and the process. The communication was great and our expectations were managed in terms of lead time and installation date. Installation went smoothly and surrounding area was tidied up. Would definitely recommend.

I cannot recommend London Door Company highly enough. The consultation process was the thorough and we were allowed to be so involved in the design of our dream door. Measuring and installation went off without a hitch and the final product we have is the most beautiful door. Everything we could have hoped for.
