Deserve to go bust
Had my electric wheelchair 14 months and it broke down leaving me stranded. Fortunately I was able to get a rescue. I booked the chair in for a service and repair and the company found the battery is TWO YEAR OLD. no the wonder livewell shut down. Paid £600 for a simplyfold electric wheelchair and today had to pull out £300 for call out, parts and repair. Useless company conning people. Conned me with a two year old battery on an allegedly new electric wheelchair. I feel it’s not gonna last me as long as it should.

You have to take the battery off the scooter when you board a plane as lithium batteries have to be taken off and put in cabin .
BUT once folded for storage in the hold you can’t take the battery off the scooter .
AND we want to make you aware of this problem . We have had bad experiences with this .
Also the battery specifications are not the same as in the manual of which cause a lot of stress when being told to wait when airport staff are checking, it took 5/6 people standing looking at what to do .
Not good for my mental health.
The seat isn't comfortable and I have 2 cushions on the seat as long waits in airports .
On changing the battery in the remote today it was very difficult to open and get it out .
I’m happy overall with the nippyness of the scooter and the lithiam battery lasts well at the moment .its great all the time you don’t go on an airplane BUT my husband and I travel quiet a lot .since having the scooter we have had 10 airport changes in the last 18 months and had all these problems over and over again .
Rubbish scooters
We bought two easyfold scooters last August after about 7months both had problems we contacted livewell they told us to go to ableworld who would find what was wrong and sort it but ableworld do not deal with livewell they did say that because my fob would not work the battery would be flat and no use and the only way would be to take the whole scooter to pieces and rebuild it again the phone number they have no longer working and constant e mail have not been answered so would not recommend anyone to use this company M Kelly

I bought my Royale 4 last July on ebay and very pleased with it.
Although when I asked about the batteries were not good. I was instructed to leave on charge after green light, and charge twice a week. I did everything possible, but when I used it, the batteries went down very quick.
No one would help. But Just bought 2 new batteries and it's all good, lasts longer and charges quicker than before, so there was something wrong with the batteries.
Bought the jaunt lightweight mobility…
Bought the jaunt lightweight mobility scooter in August everything was fine till January all of a sudden battery kept dying after 1600 meters I contacted them they sent me a replacement battery this is the same so they sent a mechanic they use to look at the problem he said I had not pushed the battery in properly and he left I make sure the battery is pushed in and still have the same problem I don't know what to do now I am very dissatisfied of I go to the shop which is less than 600 meters I have to call to my friends and change the battery up

I ordered a mobility scooter but had issues with it. When I called up the initially arranged for an engineer to come straight away. Unfortunately, however, issues persisted so I had to call again about the same problem. I was told someone would get back to me. That was three weeks ago. Just tried to call again (1:30 pm on a working Tuesday) and am getting a message saying that unfortunately the office is now closed and I should call back during opening hours of 9-5 Monday to Friday!
So the warranty is useless if they won’t call back and are now uncontactable.
Appalling returns service
Appalling returns service. I had a wheelchair collected for return, it had not even been unpacked so in original box. I was not notified it was collected but had gone from drive. 15 days later no communication no refund. I phoned and spoke to a young man who said that yes it was back but for some reason on refund list! I asked if it would ever have been refunded had I not phone… he said ‘in a sense’ not!! I said so ‘in a sense’ that was a no! Anyway 4 days since call I had notification of refund, which another 4 days later shows as ‘pending’ . Seriously WTAF are they playing at? They have a 14 day refund policy, it’s now 23 and no spontaneous communication from them or money.
Good Product and Service
Our scooter arrived quicker than expected even though we opted for standard delivery. It was very easy to set up and use. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. It is a little heavy but then that is to be expected as it is a fairly substantial piece of equipment. Overall we are very happy with our purchase.
Jaunt Plus
I bought my Jaunt Plus mobility scooter from Livewell the first week of september 24 so I have had time to make an informed opinion. When I ordered my scooter the staff I spoke were polite and informative, there was no pushy sales tactics. My scooter arrived in 3 days and I didn't pay for express delivery. Impressive.
I chose the Jaunt Plus because it had a few, as I thought, refinements. A better seat, a little extra range, and suspension.
I use my scooter almost every day and it doe's all I want it to, no probs thus far. However if you are looking to buy a Jaunt don't pay the extra for a Jaunt Plus. The seat is great, the extra range is negligable, and the suspension is useless.
I have spoken to Livewell about the suspension and I was told a technician would call me back. I am still waiting. This is why I have given them a 4 star rating. Had they returned my phone call it would have been 5 stars. The scooter is great.
High quality product and service
My husband ordered a scooter from Livewell. It was delivered on time with no hassle - delivery man very helpful and ensured the box was put where we wanted it.
The scooter parts were extremely easy to assemble. We are really chuffed.
Refurbished model in excellent condition
I was looking for a power chair that I could use when going abroad on holiday as the mobility scooter I have used previously was awkward to take apart. The Livewell Instafold was really easy to fold in one piece and the battery easily detached to be carried into the cabin. If you are used to a mobility scooter you will need to have some practice with your powerchair before you need to rely on it.....the front wheels are free moving so when travelling on sloping paths etc, the front will want to turn downhill (towards the road if you are crossing a driveway or similar).
The seat was comfortable for daylong use and the underneath storage was handy for carrying what you need for the day. The storage flap on the back of the chair is useful for very flat items eg a newspaper but anything more bulky would need to go under the seat.
It would be better if, once folded, there was a way to keep it folded. I bought a reconditioned Instafold from Livewell and it was in extremely good condition and arrived well packaged.

Rang for advice and ended up purchasing there and then on the phone (Instafold power chair). Arrived when expected and was carried to the door.
Product is exactly as described. Extremely good quality and fits perfectly in the car boot. It’s very heavy, but I expected that from the description, and can just about manage it. My 80 year old dad is very pleased with it.
Great value for money
Quick delivery and a great mobility scooter. Definitely great value for money. Had it a few weeks now and way more comfortable than my previous one.

Fold up scooter is easy to use. The delivery was speedy and I appreciated the customer satisfaction phone call. I have no problems, great product that allows me to leave the house. It is easy to store and takes up little space.

I ordered the jaunt mobility scooter it arrived very quickly I have used it several times and love that it comes apart to go in my boot my daughter says it only takes a couple of minutes to put it together. The seat is very comfortable and It doesn't need recharged too much . Very happy with scooter I bought a bigger basket for the front and my Yorkshire terrier sits in it she loves it too.
