The product I ordered was originally out of stock but I chose to wait for re-stock. I was kept updated as to expected delivery date. I received a response to my questions very quickly. The whole process was handled in a professional and timely manner. Product excellent. Would use this retailer again. Excellent service.

Really good service and we were so pleased with the ceiling light fitting we ordered a second one for another room.
Prices are very competitive too.

Would have given zero stars if this was possible. Unbelievably awful service at the warehouse. Bought lights from them today, when we got them home and opened the packaging they were wonky and one was damaged went to replace them at the warehouse. They opened a few more boxes to find replacements, these were also all wonky and the men said that ‘you could take it apart and fix them when you got home’. Sorry? Should I also open a factory and produce them myself too?
After opening a few boxes they refused to open any more said they can’t just open all the stock to find good quality ones for me. Shocking customer service. Looking at the other reviews now I am very surprised they are still in business. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DESERVE TO TAKE YOUR MONEY.

Bought two Firstlight 4156GP Mission Outdoor LED PIR Resin Wall Light In Graphite Finish IP65 - in July 2024 - one failed early in 2025 - within the 12 month guarantee period - had to purchase another before a replacement was sent out - and in December 2025 - the second one failed - which is now outside the 12 month guarantee period. so pretty rubbish tbh.

The issue is lights that dont last 12 months or just after 12 months. 12 month guarantee period is pretty lame.

Excellent customer service. Communication from the company was excellent would highly recommend.

The quality of service received was of the highest. It was efficient and very personal. The product range is excellent, the speed of delivery first class and after-sales service also excellent. Of all the Companies I have dealt with, (and I am in my 90 's) they come out top.

If I could give zero stars, I would.
Absolutely awful experience. One of the pendant lights I ordered arrived faulty and cracked, but because my building works delayed installation, the company refused to replace or refund it even though the item was clearly defective from the start.

Their customer service was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to take responsibility, quoting arbitrary time limits rather than following UK Consumer Rights law. When I tried to resolve it calmly, they bluntly said they “would not be going backwards and forwards” on the matter.

Looking at Trustpilot, I now see this is a pattern poor service, faulty products, and no accountability.
Save yourself the hassle and buy from a reputable retailer who values customers and honours consumer law.

Quality and friendliness
I bought 4 brass picture lights from lights4living. The quality of the product is fantastic. The delivery was prompt and the price reasonable. Even my electrician acknowledged the quality. The staff wad very pleasant and helpful. I do not understand why the negative reviews.

Terrible company. Avoid. They do not follow consumer law and refuse returns.

I saw a wall light advertised with them at £104 and noticed they suggested the following "Price Promise: We will beat any genuine price"
I noticed a competors website was selling the same light for £88, so I took them up on their offer. I received the following reply.....

..... "We would not be able to beat this price."

Whatever way you dress this up, they lied to me and that is a shame.

Light was faulty. Avoid this company. Awful rude customer service

Ordered 2 pendant lights from Lights4Living which arrived next day, unfortunately they were not suitable so I contacted them to arrange return.
Richard was so helpful and responded to my e mail quickly and my refund was also processed quickly . I would definitely recommend this company for excellent customer service .

Amazing service & delivery of outside lights.
30% cheaper than the high end stores for exactly the same item & delivered the following day.
I had one lamp out of 16 with broken glass. Replacement received the following day with no quibbles.
Will definitely use again & would highly recommend.

Recently received delivery of a light shade at the cost of £86.00. The colour was not as described or illustrated on the website, therefore, doesn’t go with my colour scheme. Politely requested a refund, not at my cost, due to aforementioned. However, this was declined as apparently I didn’t “show anything to suggest that it was the wrong colour”. My understanding is that concrete is not brown, which the shade is. Very unprofessional, rude and disappointing attitude and response from this company.

Avoid at all costs, particularly given the variety of other suppliers who supply same/similar products.

Lights4Living are great Sellers - I had a very good experience with them. The lights I ordered (2 ceiling and 4 wall lights) arrived very quickly and were well packaged. They looked exactly as the pictures shown and were as described. One of the wall lights appeared to be faulty as we couldn't get it to work. Upon contacting Customer Service and speaking to Beverley, who tried but was unable to resolve the issue over the phone, a return label was quickly dispatched and a new light sent out upon receipt of the returned light. The new light works perfectly and all of the lights look great now they're up. Excellent Customer Service and highly recommended seller. I would use them again without hesitation.

I purchased 3 Dome Lights about 5 years ago and moved twice and i lost one string and ball and i didn't know if they were still available and YES the Sales people found some so i ordered 2 sizes as they wasn't that expensive and now my light looks stunning again A job well done and i got them within 2/3 days as well and one extremely happy customer - From Jan

I am surprised at some of the negative reviews. I have been very happy with the company. Good prices, well packed for delivery, and good communication. Personally, I would recommend them.
