Terrible service at Lex Allan Estate Agents Stourbridge, cannot enforce private parking despite paying a service charge each month of nearly £40 since we moved here in 2017, incompetent staff. 8 years on and still no parking enforcement.

'U' turned on issuing parking enforcement only then to put this to a 'vote' and purposefully have us outvoted by residents for enforcing any parking. They seem to employ new trainee staff that do nothing, the property managers and director 'Chris' do not even want to know you nor take complaints seriously enough.

Was told they can have a system to whitelist car number plates with NPC so that residents cars that are allowed to park there can with our permits and anyone without will get a parking ticket fine.

All that was offered is signage which almost everybody ignores and parks their cars where they shouldn't be which is usually in our allocated spot or beside our home. There are about 11 homes here and only have one visitors bay?, how pathetic, was told they will plan and create more parking bays still not have heard a response from management nor have they created any more visitor parking bays.

There was signage where it says a fine of £100 if caught? They do not fine a single penny to anybody and nothing gets reported since members of the public seem to think they can park wherever they want to. Seek a better estate agents that can actually enforce parking in private areas.
Another signage that is put up which i wont even bother posting image of is so laughable its no wonder people ignore it- 'Resident parking only'
What a joke!

These jokers asked us to pay up £10-12,000 for a key fobbed automatic gate that would not give a public right of access and stop entry in. They think i won the lottery or something? We should have gotten this gate for free since we pay almost £40 service charge each month for a parking space we barely use.

And in response to the owner 'Chris'- Why send out parking permits to all residents here then if there wasn't going to be any parking enforcement in the first place. Why instruct NPC National Parking Control for permits if you weren't going to have this in place and just leave only signage without actually doing what the sign says. How unprofessional can one be to promise parking enforcement and issue us permits that were of no use to us. Sorry Chris but you and your staff here at Lex Allan are time wasters and so unprofessional the service here is abysmal.

The response emails i got from Lex Allan are terrible (atrocious and disgusting) they were meant to enforce the parking here which they all agreed on at first. ha ha pathetic.

Also Chris promised me on the phone to look at where they could plan and look for space for additional bays and keep me updated on this and he never did. He says there is no space when there is ample room for possibly another 5 more visitor bays.

In addition to this note two of their staff members have either left or quit their jobs here Mark and Dilpreet most probably because they didn't like how the management was run here.

There is only ONE visitors parking bay.

Now i myself am not fussed when it comes to parking in a public area but in a private area that is not owned by the council just takes the mick.

NPC in Crawley are rated 1 star on google- i suggest you read their reviews. What a shoddy choice for a parking enforcement company...

I have found Lex Allan (Stourbridge) to be totally incompetent when it comes to Block Management. A leaky roof was reported to them over two years ago and it has still not been repaired. The rook leaks at both ends of the building. When it rains, water comes onto my bed. In the kitchen, water comes down the wall on to the electrics! I would not recommend Lex Allan to Landlords who want to instruct Management Agents to look after their properties. Landlords will get big problems from their tenants. There have been instances of using 'cowboy builders.' The work needed re-doing. It was reported to Lex Allan over two years ago. It has still not been rectified.
