The mobile app is extremely limited. I cannot send a new bill from the mobile app and this is a huge negative.

I also find the LawPay website to be unintutive. I have difficulty getting the website to auto bill when and on the dates I need it to bill. Even things like viewing recent payment requests and sending a reminder is hard to find.

Lastly, I have tried the Pay Later option many times and have never had a customer accepted. It is a fantastic concept but has proven to be a waste of my time and my customer's time.

That said, I am pretty loyal to LawyPay. I'm not sure why but I feel more affinity towards LawPay than the many other payment processing options that I use.

I wanted more help, but the rep just told me to read the tutorial and do it myself. I literally asked for more help and she said she'd help me tomorrow if I couldn't figure it out myself. Now that we're off the phone, I never got the tutorial she supposedly emailed me and I am not any closer to getting this resolved. Guess the problem will go on my to-do list tomorrow too. That stinks!

We struggled in getting LawPay to set up surcharging and weren't notified that automatic surcharging on trust payments had been discontinued. We were ultimately able to sign a waiver to still get it set up, but the communication about the change wasn't great and it took a lot of back and forth to get what we needed. Things have been great since then.

Extremely poor service provided regarding how they respond to chargebacks. Very incompetent. Would not recommend at all.

Law Pay has helped my practice with the credit card service (including the mobile app to use for credit cards), billing records and CLE training. The service provides quality, helpful products that are reliable and very reasonably priced. If I need help, their support is prompt and efficient. I am very satisfied with their services.

It's not user friendly or easy to navigate

I have been with LawPay for many years. The staff have always been there for me. They respond quickly, advise, and help me sort things out and AMBER is the greatest. In addition, I have a full accounting of my fees, which is handy for invoices, receipts and accounting.

I absolutely LOVE LawPay! I have used several platforms over the years and this, by far, is the most user friendly platform. Everything I need is at my fingertips and easy to be found! I'm so grateful that another law firm recommended LawPay to us when we were shopping for a new vendor. I wish we knew about you sooner!

Law pay time tracking and invoicing is user friendly and effective.

LawPay makes online payments for our clients very easy. Entering payment requests is simple and requires the standard information on our client. When clients make the payment, we are notified immediately. Payments do take a day or two to post to our account, but we know the money is on its way.
When clients have "lost the link" to pay, it is very easy to re-send the payment request.
One negative - the payment link must be sent for the exact amount that the client needs to pay. For instance, if the client is making a 50% payment of fees, the Invoice must be sent as that amount. This is easy enough to avoid the issue by having conversation with the client before sending the link so they know exactly what payment is expected.
Payment reports are clear to read and easy to request.

I've been using LawPay for about ten years. I don't recall ever having had a problem with it.

The integration with Docketwise sometimes fails and doesn't reflect a payment in the client ledger.

LawPay does not obtain authorizations prior to processing cards through links sent to clients which resulted in a dispute and reversal of a clients entire retainer, plus fees charged by LawPay to me.

I love lawpay it's so easy to use and so many helpful functions. Would totally recommend!
