DO NOT BUY FROM LAVITA. HIGH PRICES, POOR QUALITY FABRIC. LAVITA DO NOT HONOUR THEIR WARRANTY. We paid nearly $5k for a Noosa Black Outdoor lounge set. Despite regular cleaning and following their instructions to clean with bleach, the couch developed mold, which has stained the grey couch a green colour. Lavita have refused to support via the warranty, blaming it on (I quote) "moisture or are kept in humid environments". This defeats the entire purpose of an outdoor lounge and it is clearly not of an acceptable quality or fit for the advertised purpose. Despite trying to resolve this, Lavita have stopped responding to my emails. Do not make my mistake. AVOID LAVITA.

I wish I had never shopped here. At first, we were very happy with the products and they performed as specified. That changed completely after the umbrella incident.

I opened the umbrella on a day with no wind warnings and no noticeable wind. After about 20 minutes, the wind suddenly picked up so quickly that before I could react, the umbrella lifted around two feet off the ground and slammed back down. As you would expect, both tanks in the base were completely full of water and should have held them in place.

I believed this was clearly a manufacturing defect. What followed from Lavita was nothing short of appalling. They responded by denying any responsibility and even provided incorrect information about the recorded wind speeds for that day. After I disproved their claims using official Bureau of Meteorology data, they continued to shift their position.

They quoted multiple, inconsistent warranty standards and falsely claimed the umbrella was rated for winds up to 30 km/h, despite the recorded wind at the time being recorded at almost that exact speed. The lack of accountability and honesty was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this company to anyone. SAVE YOUR MONEY, DO NOT BUY HERE!!!

Paid in full for a new outdoor lounge. What was delivered months later was defective, incomplete and unusable, with parts that appeared used. Replacement was unavailable. My emails went unanswered and phone calls were not returned, leaving me no option but to involve Consumer Affairs and post public reviews to get a response. The refund process required repeated follow-ups, long hold times, incorrect advice about whether the refund had been processed, and significant time away from my work. The refund was only processed after escalation. Based on this experience, I would not recommend purchasing from this retailer. Very disappointing experience overall.

Extremely poor customer service – beware.

Two and a half weeks before Christmas, I purchased a charcoal outdoor umbrella from the showroom. The colour was discussed in detail and confirmed as in stock. Later I was told the charcoal colour was discontinued.

After 10 days, the umbrella was delivered in the wrong colour (stone). I then spent days calling, texting, and emailing, speaking to four different staff members, each time being told “we’re working on it” — with no follow-up.

Eventually, I was told the error was my fault due to the order form, and that the staff member who helped me was new and unaware the colour no longer existed.

In the end, I had to drive 4 hours to the warehouse the day before Christmas, buy a $80 cover myself, and deal with enormous stress just before hosting a large garden lunch. Only the $149 delivery fee was refunded.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I will never deal with this company again.
