We booked a cheese and wine tasting for the 11 November for four of us at £75 a head . Very disappointing evening . The shop is beautiful we given a glass of bubbly to start with . We were then taken into the cheese room which is chilled and stayed there for at least 90 mins. The guide was knowledgeable but very softly spoken . With a large group of about 20 it was very difficult to hear the explanations . The guide was cutting the cheese by hand so it took forever. I work as a London blue badge tourist guide , guides need to project their voice or use a whispers or vox system. Half of the group were offered a second glass of bubbly the rest of us were ignored despite two of us asking for a refill.
When we finally sat down the platters took forever to arrive which could of been prepared before. The staff had no charisma friendliness or charm. My friend got his platter a good 15 mins after everybody else . Once the two staff had served us they dissapeared into the cheese room. No drinks were recharged and no thank you when we left . You really need to rethink this whole evening . I will definitely not be recommending your tour to my American guests this was shoddy hospitality!

I went in for lunch and the staff were very rude and could hardly be bothered to serve. They need to be trained in service and also to be taught basic good manners.

I ordered cheese for Christmas back in November. It was due to arrive today. It hasn't. They have taken the money but not sent the cheese and apparently it is now too late to do so. Appalling service. Not sure how any properly run company can make a mistake like this.
