Untrustworthy, fraudulent practice!
had a piece of debris in my eye last year and went to Kung Eye Center for treatment. The doctor removed it easily, my insurance covered the visit, and I paid my bill in full before leaving. A few months later, I received a surprise $30 bill in the mail. I visited the office to clarify, and they explained it was an insurance adjustment. I paid it on the spot and moved on, assuming that was the end of it.
However, they continued sending me the same $30 bill every month. Despite my phone calls explaining I had already paid it, they refused to believe me because I didn’t have a receipt. It became clear that their internal handling of payments is unreliable at best. Their unwillingness to investigate or take accountability makes me question their integrity. They continue to send me the bill every month.
If you visit Kung Eye Center, save every receipt and record every transaction, even for small amounts. I won’t be returning due to this frustrating experience, and I caution others to be diligent when dealing with their billing department.
