Terrible service, sold me a faulty product and then tried to avoid refunding it.
ordered a Zero Breeze MK2 from Kuda UK (over £1,500 including VAT) and the whole experience has been a nightmare from start to finish. After shipping delays which they were not transparent about (I had to continuously email for updates), it took 8weeks for my order to arrive. The unit arrived faulty – it didn’t consistently blow cool air, the battery life was far below what Kuda and the manufacturer advertise, and it randomly shut itself off while still showing charge. When I raised this, I was given factually incorrect explanations about how the product supposedly works, instead of my concerns being taken seriously.
After I pointed out that the information they gave me was wrong (and referenced their own listing and the manual), Kuda finally agreed to a return and refund, but even that was made unnecessarily difficult. I don’t have a printer, and I had to push back and quote the Consumer Rights Act 2015 before they agreed to send a label by post, rather than expecting me to pay or arrange my own return for a defective item.
The unit was collected on 13/08/2025 and returned to them, yet over a month later I still had no refund. I had to chase them repeatedly, send a “final notice” email, quote my consumer rights again, and escalate the matter to Klarna just to get any movement. Only then did I receive an apology admitting the item was back in their warehouse and that for some unexplained reason my refund “hadn’t been actioned”.
For a high-value item, this level of service is completely unacceptable. I was sold a faulty product, given misleading information when I reported the faults, made to jump through hoops to return it, and then left waiting weeks with no refund until I threatened formal complaints and finance escalation. Based on my experience, I would absolutely not recommend Kuda UK and would urge others to think very carefully before ordering from them.
