Scott, the owner of Kombucha America, offers a level of customer service & support not seen in years... which sadly is part of a dying breed. Although he is very busy, Scott will make you feel like you're his only customer, answering every and any questions you may have, no matter how often you call... sorry Scott, LOL. And he will never make you feel as though you are calling too often with questions, and even seems to welcome it. If he doesn't pick up the phone immediately (he usually answers right-away), you will get a return call within minutes.

Scott is a walking encyclopedia of Komubcha, and his comprehension and level of understanding of the science behind Kombucha is mind boggling. If you're interested in turning back the hands of time, try kombucha. And do yourself a favor... look nowhere else but to Scott at Kombucha America. There's a good reason why his ratings are so high!

Excited when I got my cultures. Came promptly with very detailed instructions. I have been brewing now for several years and feel very fortunate to have found Kombucha America. Scott gives you the support for you to decide how you want to brew. I tried both ways and really liked the Easy Brew Method. At first I had many questions and it was very reassuring all I had to do was call or email to get them answered. Even today I contact Scott and always get a prompt answer and never makes you feel like you asked a dumb question.

We live in an age where we sometimes cannot avoid purchases on the internet. Very often these experiences are nasty and bitter. Sometimes they are great.
In April of 2015 I wanted to purchase a kombucha SCOBY. I went on the net and started looking. I came across Kombucha America. I contacted them for some basic purchasing information and within less than three hours I had a reply, to the point and very professional. Once the transaction was complete I received the cultures within a short time. I am still using my first culture very successfully. My experience with Kombucha America has always been positive and for those of you who wish to start making Kombucha I would highly recommend Kombucha America.
I have read negative comments from a few people who probably expected fully grown SCOBY's / "mushrooms". Having made Kombucha previously, I found no difference in the way the tea turned out. In fact I like the culture far better. Scott Cap will be more than happy to answer your questions because he is systematic, thorough and patient.

When I found Kombucha America I hit the Jackpot! These cultures make the Best tasting fizzy tea I've ever had! I've tried other cultures on line and hands down Kombucha America wins the prize! Don't fall victim to inferior cultures go for the Best!!

When I first learned of Kombucha, I found Kombucha America online and found it to be very informative and thorough. I ordered a scoby ("mushroom") and received it promptly with Scott's phone number, so if I had any questions, I could call at any time. I was really impressed with this personal touch. The instructions were very clear and I soon had my own Kombucha Tea to enjoy. I have since browsed other sites and found that Kombucha America is by far the best in providing information to it's customers. I just recently ordered another scoby because I had circumstances came up that caused me to lose the one I had, and am looking forward to making Kombucha again!!

I purchased two cultures from Scott approximately one month ago. Since that time I have made three batches of Kombucha and have another two fermenting. I make a gallon at a time. I use the easy brew method, which is REALLY easy. It took what I had read about how to brew Kombucha and turned it on its head. I ferment for 9 to 12 days and enjoy the flavor of the tea. I would recommend Scott and Kombucha America to anyone. I have e-mailed Scott a few times with questions and he is always timely in his response. I am sure this will not change as time wears on and I have more and more questions.

I had never had Kombucha before, much less tried to make my own, but my Mother was raving about how good it made her feel plus how delicious it is, and she told me about Scott and his website Kombucha America.
I actually called him, and he got back to me immediately, answering all of my quesions about how to get started.
I sent for his Scoby, and began making my own. It has been about two and a half months and 13 batches later, we continue to get better and better at the brewing process. Recently I called him again and he was able to expertly help me with a couple minor considerations we were having. He will freely share his time and experience, and I feel so grateful to him. He never makes you feel like you're a bother, but rather that he really wants to help.

I purchased cultures from Scott at Kombucha America last March and I have been making tea by the gallon ever since. All of the info that came with the order was very easy to understand and making tea could not have been easier. Never felt better since drinking the tea. I recently reached out to Scott to order more cultures since I had an accident and broke the glass i was doing the brew in and lost my scoby. Scott is sending me 2 new cultures for just shipping charges, just like his site promised when I received the first cultures. He even responded to my email in less than an hour. Excellent customer service and very honest to deal with.

This is my very first experience with making my own Kombucha Tea . My friend encouraged me to make some , as she'd made her own for awhile using the "Scoby" , however she no longer had a Scoby . I had purchased from Scott Bombucha America my starter Mushroom and had taken this culture to Thailand. Years passed and while in Canada my fridge was turned off in Pattaya Thailand and lost my culture. I kept Scott's email as he warrantied the sale. I sent a request for replacement as I was on file. I highly recommend Kombucha America to anyone looking for a starter to make kombucha tea. My daughter who suffers from Gastroparisis( paralyzed stomach) has been drinking it for many years to aid digestion. The only difference between the recipe they provide on the sight and the one that we use is to age it for 18 days. It is very strong, almost undrinkable at that point but she takes a shot of it before eating and it aids in digesting her food. Kombucha America has always delivered their product on a timely basis and responded quickly when we needed questions answered. If you follow the directions closely it is hard to fail in making the tea. I highly recommend Kombucha America to do business with.
