I stumbled upon Kombucha America in 2020, after several failed attempts using the traditional scoby method of fermenting kombucha purchased from three other companies.

I purchased two vials of kombucha seeds. I wasn't quite sure what to expect.

Kombucha America's seeds and Easy Brew Method are very easy and simple, making the homemade brewing process less cumbersome and messy than the traditional scoby method...not to mention the uncertainty of bacteria contamination and mold growth when using a scoby.

Kombucha America's seeds are still going strong after 5 years of fermenting kombucha on a weekly basis.

The customer support that Scott gives his clients is top notch. He provides prompt and detailed answers to any questions. He is very knowledgeable about fermenting kombucha. I'm so glad I took the chance and tried his kombucha seeds. It's a game changer!

I bought my culture from Scott 10 years ago and it has never failed to produce excellent kombucha. This strain is so vital + hearty, even when it's been a bit neglected it produces great results. I've never had a mold issue or a ruined batch. I attribute this to a quality culture. I can't thank Scott enough for providing his unique system and great website + customer support.

If you like Kombucha and want to save money and make it yourself - go to Kombuchaamerica.com. Scott's Easy Brew Method is so clean and easy. If you can brew a strong black tea - you can brew kombucha with his easy brew method. You no longer need to deal with messy mothers. Or messy wide mouth bottles. So much nicer using his method. And his price is extremely reasonable. I have been using his method for several years and seriously have no idea how many gallons I have made - but safe to say - lots and lots. I feel blessed to have found his website! Thank you Scott!

I have been buying the store bought Kombucha the past few months and have grown to love it. My cardiologist shut that down because there is too much sugar. We love this product and method of making Kombucha. We have enjoyed this drink now going on over 20 years. We learned how to make and process the tea from my mother doing the old fashion way. Kombucha America's way was just better for us and our friends seemed to like the taste better as we do. My Granddaughter loves the drink as it helps her with loosing weight. We all have our reasons, and we love it.

Customer service is the best!! Our culture was great! One time we did have to replace our culture at no charge to us(except S & H). Scott even talked with me and we went over what I had done so that I wouldn't make the same mistake...did I say customer service is the best!!

I love the kombucha starter I get from Kombucha America. I am a return customer and would not dream of getting my culture from any place else. Unfortunately, I let my last culture die from not brewing it and I have not been drinking it for a while, but my husband is now HOOKED on the store bought varieties. I want him to know what the 'real deal' is like.

This company is great. They are there to assist. Scott even got back to me on a Sunday and he takes time with you over the phone to walk you through any issues that you may have.

Kombucha America is the most knowledgable and friendly Kombucha resource I have ever come across. Because of this, I will not go anywhere else for my questions relating to brewing Kombucha from growing to storing and more. I have been making delicious kombucha for many years. Have transported by starter from Mo to N Dakota, to Ohio, Nebraska and now back home. I have some misfortunes in moving vans and have needed a replacement starter. Never a hassle...prompt service.
