Dr McMahon was fantastic. I was very apprehensive about having hip surgery. Dr McMahon explained everything and put my mind at ease. Very helpful and attentive.

The consultant I saw was extremely professional, friendly and explained everything in a manner I understood. I was also seen on time.
The only downside was I thought the waiting area could have been a bit tidier, there were half empty coffee and water cup (at least 6) sitting on a small table.

Had my MRI scan on the 22nd june, was told would get my results within 10 days. I’m having to waiting 11 weeks to get my results, I’ve phoned numerous times to try and get them quicker but nothing can be done .

The staff were very helpful and respectful and I was kept informed what was happening at all times. This made me feel at ease. The hospital itself was spotless and my partner was able to get a coffee at a reasonable price from the on site coffee shop.

Well I need a hip replacement and Dr I a attended that day , said yes I really need one and as quick as it can be done the better, because it is bad , where as in co Louth I haven’t even been seen yet and it’s going on about 1 year and 1/2 , and no pain killer is sorting it out , so I come away from my appointment very pleased, thanks so much

I was treated by Dr Menown Cardiologist who was empathetic, thorough, and most importantly: listened!
He took a thorough history, made informed decisions based on the evidence he had and was updated on. I felt heard and was treated with dignity and respect. His wealth of knowledge instantly instilled confidence in the decisions, investigations and necessary treatment to address my current concerns. Excellent service by an expert consultant

Such a lovely team with Mr Chan - who came to say hello as well. That was kind and reassuring . Everyone was cheerful and put me at ease.
The only questions that I had during the follow up call concerned slight inconsistencies with instructions. For example - how long to wait between drops? I was told 2 minutes but the instruction sheet given post op says 5…. Perhaps it isn’t significant but it would be helpful if both were the same.
More clarity on the use of tech with blue light would be helpful. When trying to “behave” as well as possible a little written guidance would be useful as there were small differences between video and verbal advice.
However, my overwhelming feeling is one of gratitude that such a vital surgery was performed with no fuss and in beautiful surroundings with fabulous staff. Thank you so much.
