Yet again we received a first class service from these guys. From speed of quote to completion of job everything was done quickly and efficiently and with attention to detail. Have now been using them for 3-4 years and wouldn’t use anyone else.

Kev’s team did a great job servicing my heating system for the landlord certification. They got in touch when it was due and carried out the work with no issues. Very easy to deal will. Would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again

Kev and the team did an excellent job of installing our new external oil boiler. They are a polite, friendly, professional and hardworking bunch. Everything was left clean and tidy. There was a wee hiccup but they got this sorted out promptly. Have already recommended them to a neighbour.

We contacted this company due to a fault showing on our gas boiler which was also overdue a service. The work was completed within a week and overall we are happy with the outcome i.e boiler is working. However as this is a review site we think the following feedback may be useful to others:
- It would have been helpful had Kevin discussed the call out fee of £323.88 during initial phone call. Kevin said manufacturers call out fee was this during fault finding visit but I only appreciated this was Kevin’s fee when invoice came in.
- Kevin had a problem resetting boiler after service/repair. He had a 1 hour + phone call with the manufacturer followed by a visit to his colleague before he worked out what setting was required. This he eventually did by checking the part he removed.
- Perhaps a personal preference but would have preferred if invoice documented labour and parts separately.

Excellent service and very accommodating. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get any plumbing work done.

Great service by the team. Always kept us informed of the plan and when they were going to be completed with no extra/hidden charges. we have used Kevin since our original boiler install and we will use him again in the future. Thanks again

For future reference no one was in the “cupboard “ helping , it was the fact a professional couldn’t even get a trap put back on but again that’s by the by like was said . It stated on the invoice which I still have “run up boiler and check over “ well where is the paperwork check for this ? , radiators were never mentioned before, relevant paperwork should have been left , which there wasn’t and there won’t be because what was said was done was not actually carried out , so when the invoice was actually queried , the office member of staff could not answer the questions to which then Kevin had come on the phone , and when asked and the invoice was questioned and queried , to which it states in their email “ If you have any questions or if I can help in any way please feel free to call me “ yet it seems when invoices are queried no one can answer and no one wishes to know ? Yet as soon as a the bill was paid , an email was then sent back out to me saying “ I look forward to working with you again “ so really things couldn’t have been that bad ?
Again lesson learned that as soon as things were queried and the company didn’t like it because it seems that they said this was done and that was done , where is the paperwork to say this, must again be invisible ? Again the price was asked once the job was carried out and nothing was said ? As he didn’t know ? Again surely a professional knows their own call out charges even with VAT added on.

Again avoid at all costs if possible

Kevin was very prompt in responding to a request for a quote to replace our central heating boiler. His quote was extremely competitive and he was very accommodating when it came to agreeing a date for the work to be done. Kevin and his team had a great work ethic, were professional and friendly and quietly went about their work. They arrived when they said they would, kept us up to date with progress and always tidied up behind them. We’d highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again.

This is the first time we have used Kevin Slessor Heating.
The response to the initial call was both positive and reassuring.
This was at the end of December when there was leak from our boiler and the response from the provider of our Service Plan was non-existent.
During the first visit, a diagnosis was made and there was a follow up visit to fix the problem (within 24 hours). Following the repair, the boiler was serviced and gas safe tested. There was a concern with the diverter valve and the effects of water damage from the initial leak. To ensure that we had fully operational heating over christmas (this was December 23rd), Joe took it upon himself to drive over to the Plumber's Merchant and get the necessary parts. It would have been so easy to defer this until the New Year.
Can't recommend them enough. Pleasant, competent and communicative.

Where other companies in the area could not service my oil boiler, Kevin Slessor Heating could.
After speaking to Tracey, she booked Joe, the engineer, to come around and do my service the following week.
Joe and Tracey both were polite, competent and professional.
I’d recommend this company and definitely use again.

Absolute stars. Kevin and his team came and sorted out our boiler replacement after Scottish Gas let us down due to the amount of work/complexity of the job. In little over a week since we asked Kevin to help, we were up and running. This wasn't a straightforward job, but at no point did the team make us worry that they couldn't sort it. Would recommend these guys to anyone looking for competent, trustworthy heating and plumbing services.

Really happy with the service we have received from Kev & team. From quote to finished job they have kept us informed and everyone we have dealt with has been so friendly. We were really happy with the work completed which was done exactly as they said it would be with no mess left afterwards. We were also very happy with the price for the works.

After having a gas leak my supply was capped. Had no heating or hot water. The service from Kevin Slessor was super quick and efficient would highly recommend

Company prompted the annual service, good reminder. Agreed a date/time, both of which were kept as promised. Efficient service and clean-up completed.

After many discussions where I changed the plan several times, getting new quotes each time, a new boiler and hot water tank were installed. This was done efficiently and on time without issues. The work is neat and the whole system is far more efficient than the old one. I am very pleased with the result.

Honestly I can't really comment on the service. It happened so long ago that I don't even remember what was done. What I can say is that they invoiced us *18 months after doing the job* - by which time we had moved to another country. They sent the invoice to an address where we no longer live, and then proceeded to harass a friend of ours into passing on the *18 month old* invoice.

Save yourself the bother. Use literally anyone else.
