A big thank you to all at Braintree J & S Accessories, And a very big thank you to Gavin, He looked after me like a pro. I have never tried on so many helmets in my life, He has a an amazing knowledge of all the products. As I am a newbie, I needed to be kitted out fully and he was excellent and never pushing me into the more expensive items. I now have a full set of gear for my C.B.T. thank you once again, I am very sure I will be visiting J & S Accessories in the future 10 out of 10. (Bob)

So 2nd time into j&s finedon ,thought I would give me another chance after last time and nothings changed !! Walked in, about 4 members of staff all standing around chatting not one of them greeted me walking in and not one of them offered any help !! When I then asked a question staff was clueless and had to correct the chap in my search. IF I was the boss here a complete shake up would be needed as if this store wasn't online I think it would fold pretty quickly.

I ordered a Bell Lithium (with a price-matched discount) and a Bell 500 Custom. On delivery, the boxes were mismatched — the Lithium arrived in a Frank Thomas box rather than its own. I was told by Alex this was 'for transportation reasons'
Neither box had any protective polystyrene inside, just brown paper. Both helmets sharing the same branded Custom 500 helmet bag, not standard on a lithium.
The lithium had no pinlock included.
It became instantly clear both helmets were ex-display, despite this never being disclosed at the time of order. I questioned the order and I didn't receive a plausible excuse so I decided to return both helmets.

I raised a formal complaint by email and letter. One to the Complaints Manager as per their own stated procedure, with a copy emailed to their customer service address too. Both helmets have now been returned and refunded, but I've had no response whatsoever to the formal complaint itself.

A very disappointing experience overall — the lack of transparency about the ex-display items, combined with being ignored after a formal complaint, means I won't be ordering online from J&S again.

Footnote.
They refunded without question and I didn't have to pay to return the items. They knew they had done wrong, they just couldn't admit it.
This doesn't excuse they poor service and trading practices, but at the same time, it saves them from a one star review.

I have been in a couple of times and always had the privilege of seeing Andy every single time, he has always been extra helpful on my journey of getting a bike and my gear needed. They helped me setup my intercom with my helmet and honestly all the staff have been so friendly with me. Thank you very much to all the team at J&S for all the help I receive every time!

Cardo headset delivered, open and ripped box headset clearly been used and this was ment to be brand new sealed . Been on chat now for 1hr still no reply off them. I ended up taken it to the metro centre store for a replacement.

Went in the Leicester store for some new kit nothing was to much trouble great shop!!!

Great shop with great products and staff that are passionate about the products they sell.

I recently had a problem with a helmet that I bought at J&S. It was almost two years old so I wasn’t sure if anything could be done with it. J&S were absolutely brilliant, they returned it to the manufacturer and gave me a helmet to use while it was away. It came back with a week fully functional. Superb service. I’m really grateful.

Excellent service from Shaun.
He helped us to buy the right product for our needs within budget. Went out of his way to make sure the crash helmet fitted and fit for purpose as well as comfortable.

Just bought a two piece motorcycle suit. We were struggling to find one that fitted properly and were about to give up when Stuart came over and was incredibly helpful. Helped pick which suit was best, explained the different versions and gave loads of advice on suits and usage. Absolute credit to your store and literally made the sale. Will definitely come back again and thanks to Stuart for all his help.

Staff friendly, can't fault the staff at all, Aiden spent time helping us and giving us the ratings of what would be best on clothing and boots, helped with sizing and finding the products best for us. I couldn't recommend anywhere better.

The online service has been excellent.

A fantastic range of products, deliveries on time/well packaged and returns are simple and refunded quickly (one jacket was a tad small).

Steves a legend, I’ve just gotten my first bike and he’s helped me so much with gear and security devices. Honestly couldn’t thank him more since if it wasn’t for him I’d probably have brought the wrong things. He didn’t tell me what to buy but he gave me food for thought to ensure I brought the right thing. Thanks to him this will forever be the bike shop I go to
