So I’ve had account with this company for a long time I paid my entire balance before it was due meaning there is not balance I received an alert letting me know that even though my card has a zero balance they wanted to charge me am interested charge on a zero balance they didn’t care they I have been a credit card holder for over 5 years I cancelled my card customer service representative didn’t even try to keep me as a customer what a piece of crap company stay away from them they are a scam worse credit card company ever zero stats I world not recommend at all

They are not correct. I had a very bad experience with them. They added me two late fees in one month plus interest. I finally realized that their system is purely compared to a scam and I immediately stopped and canceled their card. I advise you to either use other cards or pay cash at JCPenney than to be exploited by the individuals hidden behind the so-called system. Take other paths guys!!!

How in the blank blank are you only giving us thirty seconds to cancel and order. There wasn't any where to cancel. You need to change that policy. Now have my purchases going to my old address. I tried to change it. I did not realize until I received my email.

Placed an order and after the order was placed I received a coupon on the same pair of jeans that I could have saved $9.99. Customer service would not apply the coupon or even give me a store credit. Makes me want to shop elsewhere. Very unsatisfied with company and customer service.

Visited JC Penny Cosmetic Department and was impressed would the lead comestic associate.What an awesome human being.She took time to answer my questions and made me feel that I was worthy of her time.Hats off to JC Penny placing this gem as lead and as a representation of that department.

I was a major Macy's shopper in NYC, until I moved to Delaware. There I fell in love with the Christiana mall and JC Penney! The jewelry is great and the prices are great, especially the sales. Moved to NC and woopy, a JC Penney, right in town at the local mall! I am a very satisfied customer!

Terrible customer service on line. Why has JCP started making so many Credit Card charges. Especially a paper statement charge. As a Senior Citizen, we do not do all bills and banking online. Not convenient, too costly. Apparently time to cancel card after 20+ years.

I love shopping JCPenny on line! I find what I want and if it doesn’t fit I return it!

Horrible everything, shipments always late,customer service is horrible, ordered 500$ in shoes all showed up completely crushed flattened like a pancake, another 437$ order all supposed be here by 29th now the 3rd nothing here, just tired of there sloppy crew, im done,I won't spend single cent here ever again

Dont get a card just dont. Youll get a hard hit then if you dont use it rightaway they close it.

Evidently my old address from 5 years ago was still listed as a delivery address. My fault. I am a long time JCP customer. Once I realized my error, I called JCP for the other package that was in transit since UPS told me JCP had to call to make a delivery address change. JCP said they wouldn't contact them. I explained I also worked in customer service for a global company and customers make mistakes, we fix them. All they said was that they shipped it to the address that they were told to. I get that. I was asking for help and I know full well this change can be made.

Prices are low but they can be lower!!

I bought 2 pairs of Berkshire silver shimmery pantyhose from JCP for a special event at my church. I was so excited, I could hardly wait to wear them for their beauty and shimmer. Ppl began to comment on how lovely my shoes were. I looked down, only to see weird curvy lines/ridges going down both legs of the pantyhose. It looked so weird and horrible. I was SO embarrassed. I’ve purchased pantyhose from Roses that cost far less, & indeed looked far better. The Berkshires cost $11.95 per pair, although I got them on sale. I’m absolutely going to seek a refund. JCP need to stop selling this severely defective product.smh

I don’t even know why they have customer chat when all they do is ask you to call them instead.

Don't get this card. It's serviced by Synchrony Bank. Synchrony will open your account, then proceed to lower your credit limit every few months which then dings your credit score. I didn't even charge that much on my JC Penney card and already they cut the limit in half. I will be closing this card when it's paid off in a couple of months. For the record - Sychrony has done this to me on every single store card I have that is serviced by them. There are better store cards out there - avoid ANY that are serviced by Synchrony.

I bought this mattress the end of May for my disabled husband. He found as he moved the top layer of this Mattress wrinkled and was uncomfortable. He is back to sleeping in his chair and so disappointed.
To return this Mattress I was offered $544.66 refund plus a restocking fee of $76.00. The warranty cost for me is $332.78 to return this mattress. I still have to buy another mattress to replace this one. That is too much money for us with my husband's medical bills.
To make matters worse the Mattress is advertised at half the price we paid for the Fourth of July (444.00).as opposed to the sale we got for Memorial Day. In addition to this I have seen 2 other prices for the same Mattress on the JC Penney website. One was $710.00 with the code word HAMMOCK. In case there is any doubt to the validity of this review here is my order #2025144511382701. The cost I paid was $801.44.

For my husband this did not prove true. The 10 year warranty came at a cost we could not afford. Having several prices for the same product doesn't help consumer confidence.

Don't buy anything from JC Penney, they will rip you off. The people working at the JC Penney Warehouse Logistics Center in 5555 Scarborough Blvd, Columbus, OH 43232 are the worst crooks & liars. Shame on you. You are the worst of the worst. My experience with JC Penney has been the worst, horrible, nastiest experience in my whole life of ordering anything!! I ordered $306.43 worth of kid's clothes, Order #2025149513435273, most of the items weren't in the package and the invoice shows it was, they lied with the weight. I was charged for 35 items that I didn't received!! Don't buy anything from JC Penney, they will rip you off. That is why they are bankrupt, because they like to screw people!! Their customer representatives are useless as well. They do not help with anything.

I purchased items online and I would like to return them, Do some in store shopping.. I don't have half a day to wait around for them to open! 11:00AM is an assinine time to open a clothing store period! Shipping costs are just stupid ! Will return and go back to my reliable Amazon who ships most for free and returns are free! Shopping for clothes online is hard and you should be making it as easy as possible to return if you want repeat customers!

I have been ordering from Penneys for years with no problem. Sometimes I opt to have stuff delivered to the local store and I go pick it up to save on shipping. I just saw a site on Facebook with the name jcpennyonline with super low prices but that is not a legitimate site for JC Penney. The word Penney isn’t spelled right so real big red flag! This may be the reason for the bad reviews because people are getting scammed by fake sites. Do your research! If the prices seem too good to be true they probably are!
