Ordered necklace and tried to cancel it after 20:00 minutes but would not let me so I called them at 8:00am they told me I would have to go to a store and return the item never seen bad customer service like this from any other company

Inexperienced young lady
Nov. 30, 2025, husband and I went to Columbia, SC location to buy 1 carat diamonds ear rings. A sweet young lady met us at the door and immediately showed us what they had. I questioned the discrepancy between 2 pairs that I was looking at: one was priced at $1600 and the other at $5400. So, not noticing a big difference in quality, I chose the lower priced ones. Once they totaled it up and gave us the bottom line, the young lady came over to us to explain that the one we chose was actually a lab grown diamond which is not what we wanted. She was completely upset over the mistake. So, long story short we found a real diamond set for $2600! Well, then the chaos began. Manager comes over and after 30 minutes or so of him getting the pricing wrong showing the difference we owed since we had already paid $1663. I had to do the math for him as he was completely over charging us by $400. It was the most untrustworthy experience I’ve ever encountered. I guess I should have just walked out and gone somewhere else, but I came home with the ear rings and am hoping I didn’t make a huge mistake by dealing with them!
Bad experience with Pre-owned jewelry
I ordered a set of pre-owned diamond earrings and the backing on one was loose and it fell out and was lost within two weeks. Jared would not allow me to return the remaining earring or offer any kind of refund. I get that there may be scammers, but it was a defective product and now I’m just stuck with one earring of a set. I would DEFINITELY not recommend buying anything pre-owned from there, but honestly I won’t be doing any business with them in the future.
Great Advice and Great Service
I went to Jared Jewelers in West Hartford for a watch repair and to have my grandmother's pearl necklace redesigned. The store is very welcoming, and I was helped right away. The store manager, Rue, sent out the watch for repair and helped to convince me not to change the design of my heirloom. Instead, she suggested the pearls to be restrung. Rue spent a lot of time with me and not only gave me expert advise, but she kept me apprised of the progress of both the watch and the necklace. I definitely will be happy to do business with Jareds in the future.

Ordered a mother’s necklace for my daughter, one of the birthstones was wrong, their only response was return it for a refund. They wouldn’t even repair their mistake!!

Birthday Plans Ruined!!!
Horrible experience. Bought a birthday gift on Aug. 30th that was supposed to be delivered on my niece's birthday (Sept. 8th), and then I got an email that it's coming on Sept. 12. I called to see if there was any way around this, and they said no. Horrible service, never ever purchasing from them again.

Don't buy anything from Jared. We were loyal Kay and Jared customers for over 40 years and spent hundreds of thousands with them but no more. The store in Orlando said they would pass on making my wife ring larger because some stone might be cracked and the main large marque could be damaged. So they just said goodbye, and we did too. Never going back tired or their crap and it's no wonder they are a struggling corporation. Won't be around long with this attitude. Find a local jeweler.
Diamond fell out after 6 months
My ring is beautiful but it has turned my finger green several times and after just shy of 6 months, a diamond chip has fallen out of it. (14k gold $1200 divorce present to self after an abusive marriage)
Breathtaking results
I took my 53 year old engagement ring in to be repaired. I had lost a prong on the diamond solitaire and was afraid of losing the diamond. I had heard Jared does a nice job. I was floored by the results! I had not seen such shine and sparkle since I became engaged over 50 years ago. My ring is beautiful again! I am now a fan and will be back!

I was trying to surprise somebody for their birthday and I decided to use the wrong company her birthday was Friday it is Tuesday 9:00 I'm filing a complaint because first I marked it for Express delivery on Friday then while I was updating the address they unmarked it. I try to reorder it with the express check out and cancel the other order 2 hours later and they told me they was unable to cancel my order that was not going to even be shipped out until Thursday so therefore I was left waiting until Monday for this girl to get her birthday gift that was supposed to be a special gift for her then Monday comes and they say the package won't be delivered till Tuesday then Tuesday come and they tell me the package is probably lost and I might have to wait 10 to 14 days for them to do their investigation I recommend nobody ever order anything from this company online because they will ruin the birthday of whoever you are trying to surprise

Recently I went in for a small repair on my Tag Heuer watch. It was shipped to Tag to be repaired. I was given a repair estimate of approximately $290. Thought that was high but it’s been a great watch so I told them to go ahead. When it finally arrived back there was a clasp in the envelope. They had put a brand new clasp on. The old catch was perfectly fine but the girl that took it in had written down that it needed one. I told the lady in charge that that was not what they were to do. T was just a small piece where the band connects to the watch. After explaining a few times what the issue was she offered to come down on the price, I agree died. I noticed that it was a little snug but thought maybe it was just me. After a week or so I realized that it wasn't me but apparently they had taken a link out of the watch. Went back in n she offered to send it away again but I hate being without my watch. I will she had offered to order another link but that didn’t happen. First and last time doing any sort of business with them.

This was one of the worst shopping experiences I have ever had. I purchased a ruby eternity ring and was so excited. After Hurricane Helene here in Asheville I just wanted a lift. I ordered it on May 16th. I paid $615 for the ring. I am a jewelry designer but I don't make rings. I have a ruby engagement ring and earrings and 3 bracelets I made and I wanted this ring. Well, come May 29th they debited my credit card and it posted immediately. I received an Email informing me it was ready to ship and a label was created. It stayed this way for 2 weeks with no updates. I called customer service 7 times this week and they told me they couldn't do anything because it was not late yet. I called UPS and was told they didn't have my package and it was scheduled for June 10th. As of today June 12th, nothing changed and UPS still hadn't received it. Today I demanded a refund and was told that because it's in shipping status they couldn't do that. So they have my money and they don't know where the ring is. Absolutely ridiculous. They told me I will have to wait another 10 days while they figure it out. I called my bank today and started a claim. I sent the bank all the correspondence from Jared regarding all this. They were never going to send that ring and they know it. Greed and evil. It's beyond comprehension and they don't think they did anything wrong. They had no idea who they were dealing with. No one does this to me. The bank told me not to worry and I will get my money back. I have read some of the reviews and it makes your hair stand on end really. Please don't shop Jared.com. It's a complete waste of time and the aggravation is beyond horrible. How do they think they would get away with such despicable nonsense. They ruined my hopeful expectations and they have hurt many others just read the reviews. I have earrings I bought from the store here in Asheville and that was fine but the online site is a scam. They need to hang their heads in shame. Beware!

I have purchased multiple items from Jared. I am so disappointed with the warranty that I purchased. I was absolutely confused when they said it didn't cover that part of the warranty. I have purchased a Rolex 2024,Diamond ring,2 very expensive necklaces and was told after driving 4 hrs to the store that my issue was not covered. So the thing you need to be careful with Jared is they don't back there warranties. I am very sad customer and will not be visiting there stores again!! BE AWARE OF THERE WARRANTIES!!!!!

Everything was good when I was overpaying my bill to the point when I paid it off. So not knowing anything till I checked my credit.
Come to find out they changed me interest on 0 dollars and was racking up late fees.
I called them up and they took off late charges which proves to me they know they were in the wrong so 30 something dollars turns into 12 and some change. Well I paid that and they still on my credit showing I have not paid even though I called them again and they said it's paid and still bringing down my credit 2 mths later. They said they will send me a letter saying I paid them. I will never buy from them again. Also I paid off Kay around same time and Kay was legit on everything. Jared and Kay may be combined but Kay was awesome. Jared will screw you.

So I thing is FALSE ADVERTISING, Just to get you in the door I was very disappointed, besides what they show me, it was way more small than what they advertise!!
