My daughter added a diamond necklace to her wish list and was quoted a price. A few days later (less than a week) I went in to purchase it. The price they quoted was on the screen. When I was ready to pay for it the price was almost double. After many trips back and forth to the manager (I felt like I was buying a car) I was told they would not honor the quoted price. Very shady outfit would never go there again. They spent more time trying to sell me warranty’s and stuffed animals than the necklace I was trying to buy. Needless to say I left empty handed
Don't Order Engraved Items from Jared Online!
I ordered a pendant engraved with my kids names, and it came back with the names out of order and missing a name. I contacted customer service and they provided me with a discount code to place the order again. I returned the item and reordered the pendant. Received the replacement today and it was the same error, missing names and in incorrect order. Reached out to customer service and they were not helpful at all this time! I will NEVER order from Jared online again!

I purchased a Tissot watch
I purchased a Tissot watch. The battery needs to be replaced. I took out a lifetime battery replacement. But they did not tell me that they have to send the watch out to replace the battery. It will take 4-6 weeks to get it back. What kind of crap is this. If I would have known this, I would never have taken out the lifetime battery replacement.

Visited Jared today for inspection of jewelry, which is required every 6 months. Alex always does my inspections and as usual he was very attentive, courteous, concerned about how you are doing. Never rushed to complete the inspections. Great asset to Jared company! The BEST THANKS ALEX! 😎
Deceived while Mourning, Consumer fraud
My husband passed on June 8,2024 of prostate cancer,I buried him on June 23rd in Mississippi,I come back to Utah and went to Jared to get a 14k pendant White Gold,kept getting the run around, finally on Sept the 11th I picked up, brought it home tested and had it appraised,it was stainless steel,I paid 1.599.00 I returned it and contacted the Attorney General in Salt lake City, Consumer Fraud,Stay away from Jared's They are liars, have you're jewelry appraised as soon as you purchase,I wish I could give them a fat,.0
Exceptional Customer Service Experience at Jared Jewelry
Today, I visited the Jared Jewelry store in Frederick, MD, where I was warmly greeted by Jure and Rebecca. Their hospitality was genuine and welcoming from the start. After mentioning I was there for jewelry, Rebecca collected my ID for verification, while Jure kindly offered to clean any jewelry I had with me. As Rebecca returned my items, another associate, Alexis, stepped in to assist with repairing my earring, while Shelby helped with my other jewelry.
I was truly impressed by the level of customer service provided by all of them. It's rare to encounter a team that is not only professional but also genuinely kind and attentive. Jure, Rebecca, Alexis, and Shelby went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience, and I am incredibly grateful for their help. I’m writing this review to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service I received.

I have done business with Jared for quite some time. Several years ago I met Rick Sonleiter who is a customer service specialist. He is extremely knowledgeable on jewelry and very honest. After doing business with him one time I always go back to him. He has always looked out for our best interest and not what will make him and the store more money. Our business relationship has turned into a strong friendship. Rick is a high integrity individual and I would highly recommend him if you are looking to purchase jewelry.
I ordered a personalized 14K gold…
I ordered a personalized 14K gold nameplate necklace with diamond Accents. The item didn't match up to website photo - name was in small script - chain was thin as could be - clasp unable to open - poor quality - not worth the amount I paid. Item doesn't look or feel like 14 K. So very disappointed in Jareds!
Poor Quality
On March 24, 2024 I ordered a pair of Children's Cross Stud Earrings 14K Yellow Gold for my niece's First Communion. She just got her ears pierced so she had to wait to wear this gift. She put them on last week and both backs fell off. And yes, an adult helped after the first one fell off to make sure it was secure. Fortunately she did not lose the earrings, but what a disappointment!! Insult to injury...she lives in Montana, no store in the state to fix the problem. Customers should be able to count on quality - even for children's jewelry. Lesson learned, even from a good jewelry store, check all clasps, hooks, backs, and everything else because you might get a lemon.

Do NOT purchase anything from Jared. They do not treat customers with respect and if you do, definitely do not purchase a warranty. They will find any excuse to use so that they don’t have to cover the repairs needed. Plus they are rude and their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.

If 0 stars was available, I'd rate them a big FAT ZERO!! Buyer beware!!!! I put in an order for a $3400 engagement ring to only be told 5 days later, that the order was cancelled due to low inventory. I was good with that decision, until.......I went back on the Jared website 3 days later and engaged a sales associate to assist me in buying the SAME EXACT ring! Lo and behold, it was available. When I asked why my order for that exact ring was cancelled the days earlier , she hung up on me. What's going on here at Jared? Lies, Deceipt and/or discrimination? Your guess is as good as mine. Terrible experience. I will NEVER buy anything from Jared ever again!!! Never!!!!! You shouldn't either!
My lost diamond wasn't replaced
The wedding ring my husband gave me from Jared from Raleigh NC is absolutely stunning "however" ONE OF THE DIAMONDS FELL OUT AFTER A LITTLE OVER A YEAR OF WEARING IT. What makes me upset is they wouldn't replace the diamond because my husband forgot to tell me Jared expects you to have it inspected every 6 months or so ( can't remember the time frame of that "rule" even now ) My issue with that is "IF" their product is as they say not to mention the price paid, why is it a "rule" to bring it in to be inspected and why did I lose a diamond after only having it a little over a year? They sales lady explained to me, if it's not brought in to be inspected, they won't stand behind their product..... I'm always checking my ring to make sure I haven't lost anymore diamonds and when I do I'm reminded of how I use to think "JARED" was the ultimate place for expensive jewelry, now all I can do is shake my head because they're not and their policies prove they're not to be trusted. It's unfortunate they wouldn't replace the "tiny" diamond I lost because now my husband goes elsewhere to buy jewelry.
Terrible service dropped my watch for…
Terrible service dropped my watch for repair in April got it back in July and they didn't have the decency to clean it as a courtesy especially when I originally purchased the watch through them. I will never purchase anything through Jared's again. There are plenty of other jewelers around don't waste your time there.
Mistakes happen but when the customer has to (literally) pay for the mistake, I take issue with that
Back on Mother's Day I walked into the Jared's in Burlington, MA and had my fiancé with me. We were looking for a wedding band. In the 30ish minutes that we were there, he was sized, tried on 3 (maybe 4) rings and I chose the ring, paid for it and was on my merry way. At that time, the buying process was super easy, we knew what we wanted, and I walked out happy. During our visit, the size ring that we needed was not available, so we had it ordered and scheduled delivery to Jared's West Hartford location (being that we live in CT, and the West Harford is the closest location).
After about a week or so, I received a text message and email that the ring was ready for pick-up...in Pittsburg, PA!? I have NO idea why my order ended up in Pittsburg, but it did. I called the store and while no one could say why it ended up in Pittsburg (not West Hartford), they said that they would have the ring shipped over to the correct store. Without warning, I then received an email that my order was cancelled, which prompted me again to reach out to the Burlington store. I was told that policy prevented them from sending rings between stores, so they cancelled my original order and re-ordered the ring to the correct store, which I was told I could pick up at my convivence. As soon as I received confirmation that my original order was cancelled, I called Jared's (I can't remember what location), to confirm that I would receive the discounts I originally received when I purchased the ring back on Mother's Day. I was told "yes" (after all, why should I have to pay for a mistake that was made by the store...NO fault of mine?)
Fast forward to today (6/9/24). I finally make it to the West Hartford location (1 hour from my house) and I walk out paying more for the ring today then I did a month ago when I originally purchased it. While I had to ASK for the discount I received when I originally purchased the ring (you would think since the store made the mistake, they would have that information noted in their system), they did honor it. What they did NOT honor was the cost of the protection plan. For whatever reason (the associate helping me couldn't tell me why), the SAME protection plan that I purchased in Burlington, MA was $20 cheaper than in the West Hartford location. I was told I could either pay $20 more or not take the protection plan. Wow. If my wedding wasn't 2 weeks away, I would have left the protection plan AND the ring! It's not the $20 that's the issue here. My issue is with the fact that I paid for a ring, the ring was scheduled to arrive in the West Hartford location, and it didn't. The store cancelled my order (without even pre-warning me) and reordered it, promising that I would pay the same amount for the order that I did when I originally purchased the ring. Jared's did not honor that and instead blamed it on the inability of their system to change the cost of the protection plan, as to why I had to pay more for a ring and protection plan that I already purchased.
What SHOULD have happened in this situation, is when I went to collect the ring, the note should have been on my account that I was to receive the EXACT same price for my order that I originally paid. Mistakes happen, yes. But the customer should not have to pay for an employee's mistake (I don't care if it's just $20...it's the principle of the matter).

I had a ring ordered for mother's day…
I had a ring ordered for mother's day and it set at the ups for over a week and no one had the common courtesy to let me know that I can go and pick it up. So now they wanted to either give me the money back or wait another month to get so they can get the ring back. Way to go Jared.

Delivery date has come and gone. No one can give me answers on a new date. Way to ruin an anniversary.
Scam!!! Won’t honor pricing even when they screw up
Made a purchase for Mother’s Day, sale price was a decent deal and shipping was guaranteed…got notified that the order was cancelled by them, not due to an issue with my card…they will have my money for 3-5 business days and now I’m being told that they can’t help me today (after just receiving the cancellation notice) but they can tomorrow…well how convenient that the sell ends tonight and they aren’t sure they will honor that price if I reorder….bait and switch much…stay away!!!
The ring I purchased a year ago snapped…
The ring I purchased a year ago snapped in half. The ring was heated twice to fit it to size and according to a local jeweler, t looks like that may have been the cause of the integrity issue with the ring. The local jeweler suggested that I reach out to the Jared's because he thought they may want to make it right considering that the break was not a wear and tear item. I reached out and was told that even though their salesperson had said otherwise, I should have some how known that I should double check with someone online to find out that I didn't need to make the 6 hour round trip drive every 6 months to have a valid warranty with Jared's. I didn't buy a warranty because I knew I wouldn't make the 6 hour drive. Keep in mind that I have been told the break in the ring was likely due to the heating process when sizing it, nothing to do with wear and tear on a ring that I didn't wear on a daily basis. So Jared's response was basically that I should have known to ask about the warranty regardless of what their salesperson told me. In the absence of that warranty, they would not be standing by their ring.even if I have reason to believe the integrity of the ring was compromised either during the manufacturing process or when they heated it to size it to my finger. Check out Jared's other 1 star reviews, which are at 84% as of the time I am writing my review. Buyer beware, read the reviews before purchasing from Jared's.
