I deposited using Apple Pay and requested a withdrawal on [Monday/Sunday – confirm exact date] June 2026. What followed has been one of the most frustrating and unfair experiences I’ve had with any gambling site.
After several days of chasing via live chat and emails, they sent a generic “under active review by Finance” message but refused to give any timeline. Then on 12 June they suddenly suspended and fully closed my account, claiming my documents “did not pass security checks” (ticket 11990620).
The so-called issue? A tiny name format difference:
• My account: John O’Toole
• My own debit card (used for Apple Pay): J OTOOLE (standard initials on the physical card)
I immediately sent everything they asked for — full card details, clear photos of the front and back of the card, and a bank statement clearly showing John O’Toole linked to the card. Despite this overwhelming proof that it is my genuine account and card, they still closed everything and are withholding my deposit balance and winnings.
This is completely unacceptable. They are holding onto my own money with vague excuses and zero transparency. I have escalated via Resolver and posted on AskGamblers, but the stress and financial impact after days of silence and broken promises is outrageous.
Jackpotjoy advertises fast payouts (within 24 hours) but in reality they drag things out, then close accounts on technicalities even when players provide clear evidence. UKGC rules require them to return deposits when closing accounts for verification issues — yet here I am still waiting.
Warning to everyone: Think twice before using Jackpotjoy, especially with Apple Pay. Their verification/Finance team seems more interested in holding funds than treating customers fairly. I will be taking this further with the UK Gambling Commission if my deposits are not returned immediately.

I've been a jackpotjoy customer for many years. Something changed beginning of the year, over £2200 spent, no payouts. No features or bonuses it's like they've been turned off. My own fault for continuing to deposit. You email them and just get the same advice, clear cookies, cache, turn phone off and reset Internet but nothing changes. They say the slots are generated.
