It’s never easy talking about personal issues, especially my 30 something thousands worth of debt! After seriously struggling with mental health issues, my debt mounted massively and I was no longer in a position to pay my rent, let alone my creditors. After 5 long years of anxiety and losing most of my sleep, I finally took the plunge to get help with my debt. I had phoned 2 other places before contacting the amazing Keith, here at the IVA. I can honestly say that as soon as I spoke with Keith, he instantly reassured me and made me realise I am not alone. Within a month, Keith got me the help I needed, IVA applied AND approved!!! Safe to say the 5 years of strain was lifted instantly and I now sleep like a baby! I cannot thank Keith and his team enough for taking this pressure away from me. Its always embarrassing talking about debt and in some instances admitting that you were having a life you couldn't afford.. it soon catches up.

I had a great salary nearly £100kpa but like all people we were sailing very close to the wind, forgoing many daily things to keep our heads above water and then disaster struck and I lost my job. I was really surprised how hard it was to find work at a senior level, is suspect now its the same for everyone too so I had to take a role on significantly less money, I knew we couldn't continue in our debt spiral so i turned to the web for advice, this is where I came across IVA.com and plucked up the courage to call Keith.

That call was the start of a completely of a new experience for us because even when we had the fantastic salary due to debts we had mounted up we couldn't afford money for clothing on a regular basis never mind entertainment to be able to treat ourselves once in a while and it was so refreshing to hear Keith say that was the expected standard of living. We were fortunate that we were in a psoition to offer an in full and final settlement IVA which was handled really well by Jason at Middlebrooks (The IP Keith put us in touch with).

Just 8 weeks later all is approved and we can finally breath and plan for the future rather than continue to rob Peter to pay Paul, its ironic I now earn 30% less than before and yet we have more disposable income than before because we can now properly support our family and start to create family memories.

I was nervous about starting an Iva. After speaking with Keith he explained everything to me from start to finish and put my mind at ease. Great communications and excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend.

I have had some difficulties with coming back to work after having my third child and then finding out the business I worked for would be closing. I had to take another job, lower paid and found myself in some dark times.
I reviewed on line ways to help my finances and submitted a form. Keith then called me to talk things through for over an hour. He never judged me and was so kind, supportive and helpful.
If ever I needed Keith for advise he was very quick either to email or call. He never rushed me in any decision as this took me a while to come to the conclusion to go through with the IVA.

My IVA was accepted last week. It's a huge relief to have it confirmed but to be honest, the bigger relief was when I first spoke to IVA.com and realised it was a realistic option.

I had spoken to another, higher profile debt company first and whilst the person I spoke to said many of the same things something just didn't feel quite right. They were more forceful and much less patient and understanding. They also came up with a proposed monthly payment almost 50% higher than IVA.com.

Given the circumstances I was in even that would have been an improvment but it would have been a huge struggle financially. I'm so glad that I didn't just go with them and chose to speak to IVA.com instead. They thought of genuine basic expenses that both myself and the other company hadn't considered.

Even more importantly for me. They seemed genuinely caring and compassionate.

My only regret is that I didn't speak to them earlier.
