so my uncle has had no phone for 4 months but they are still taking money out his bank we called them to explain what was happning and the lady hung up on me two times we tried to call them back but telling me she could not hear me now they have said this a few times now my uncle is 76 years old and we need him to have a phone thats works if noting is done about it we are going to cancal his direct debit plus you owe my uncles money for a phone he has noy even used due to not working if this dont sorted we will go and see someone about this because you taking his money we try and call you to let you know but then hang up on us but still taking his money anyone who goes with these i would not they dont have a working landline

The AI reception was quite good and felt friendly
The chap I was put through to was very good although he spoke very fast, I had no problem understanding however the elderly lady I help had no idea what he was saying.

Never used but still being charged. AVOID
Elderly parents signed up for broadband and phone to go live in March via comparison site. Router and kit received.
Should have been a plug and go switch from previous supplier. On the day nothing worked. I spent time trying to set it up with them but nothing worked. So literally nothing used from the service.
Parents decided to cancel contract and switch to another supplier. Trying to cancel was not straight forwards. But via the online chat it was agreed and advised they would get a final bill.
Despite this they kept ringing and trying to talk my parents through setting up. They’re 80+! Beyond being able up plug it in they could not understand what was being asked of them.
Told had to wait for a bill but nothing came. Direct debit was cancelled with the bank. Was told could just settle the final bill via online payment. Then a random email to say money was overdue which was for approx £80 which was settled.
Then an unsolicited second router arrived.
Then on checking bank statements they had reset up the direct debit (not authorised) and taken over £200 more payments.
Followed by this week a text saying a further outstanding amount was going to debt recovery.
In the meantime my parents have been with a new provider since March so are 100% not using italk services.
It’s now with the bank under a fraud investigation.
AVOID AVOID AVOID.
