Internet Gardener 

I ordered an item on 12th May , received an update on the 17th May. Finally received the item on 23rd May. It was badly damaged. Following immediate e-mails including photographs , plus numerous phone calls , most of which were never answered I still have no idea if the Internet Gardener is going to even look at this complaint!!!

I ordered a rattan cushion box 1 month ago on a pre order my money was taken straight away and after several phone calls and an email still can't get hold of them, do they ever answer the phone. I How do I get a refund ???

Absolutely diabolical customer service. I ordered a BBQ which was damaged and had a faulty part. One week after i complained i got a response which didn't answer the issue. Another week later i got a response on a replacement part and compensation. That was a month ago. Despite numerous emails and attempts at calls i cannot get anyone to either reply or pick up a phone! Its a complete joke to be frank. If i could give zero stars i would. Any reputable company would probably be concerned at the number of poor reviews they get and do something about it, however, they clearly do not care

Fantastic - my second order through them and again they didn’t disappoint. First order was 3 years ago for garden furniture and that still looks as good as the day it arrived and this order was for a shed. Communication has been amazing, delivery on time and the shed looks great. I will definitely be using IG again and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Our furniture which finally arrived last week is lovely but the communication from the company has been really poor. I received an email when I placed the order and they took the money, on their website it says they only take the money if the item is stock. I heard nothing for a week so I gave them a call, the man was really apologetic and said they had problems with their new system but our order would arrive the following week, and that we would be contacted prior to it. We received no communication so called again to be told the item wasn’t in stock and it would be two weeks. I sent a letter by email after this explaining all that I was unhappy with to date and asked for a prompt response. I received no response! I called again and was told the furniture could be delivered the following week, the date was arranged and I was told I would be contacted prior to the delivery. The member of staff also promised to put my letter before one of the directors. Several days later I received a very brief email that did not address any of the issues I’d raised but confirmed the delivery.
By 4.45 the day before the delivery I had heard nothing so called again to say our furniture had not been included on the delivery for that day and would be the following day. My husband had taken a days leave to take delivery!
I appreciate things go wrong but it takes little effort to communicate this and has been the difference to the review I have made. I would not use this company again and sadly would not recommend them.

Ordered a garden chair, they took my money and then radio silence. So far in 5 phone calls, several emails, stayed at home all day on the 'arranged' delivery date and no chair, no communication, no chair. Shockingly bad!

Reading the reviews here seems like I'm not the only one!

OMG I bought the double driveway gate 7ft for £180 from IInternet Gardener. Delivered on time and the quality of these gates was unbelievable really good quality heavy steel. Looks very expensive. Highly recommended, staff were very helpful over the phone. As a first time shopper i am very satisfied with my purchase. Well-done please open a showroom in South East London. Five star rating definitely. 😂😁

Dreadful company I’ve been waiting for my furniture for a month !! I kept chasing but no contact from the company . All I want is a refund still no joy . This Company are awful take your money then no goods!PLEASE CAN I HAVE MY MONEY BACK !!!!

Ordered a bench, they took the money immediately. A few days later I got an email saying the bench wasn't in stock and I would have to wait a couple of months for it to arrive, or I could order a different bench. Surely they shouldn't take the money if they can't fulfil the order?

I asked for a refund, still waiting for a response. Would never use them again.

Received response saying I had been refunded - 7 days later the refund doesn't appear to have been received in my bank account! Refund finally appeared after I contacted them several times, but took a couple of weeks.

I noticed they use the following text in FAQ on their website - this is clearly untrue!

"What if my item has sold out?"
"In the minority of cases where stock is not currently in the warehouse, we'll contact you to let you know when your item will be back in stock. If you prefer, we'll do our best to offer a suitable alternative product. You will not be charged for any item until we have confirmed stock and completely processed your order."

Ordered garden dining set on 4 may and received it on the 16 may.
Totally straight forward and we are delighted with it.
Was aware of some bad reviews recently but prior to their system change which was mentioned in one review ( which as anyone who has gone through that in their job would know what a nightmare it can be for a considerable time ) they had excellent reviews so I chose to go with them rather than the not so good reviews.
Lost a star because of the incorrect length measurement of one of the sofas but chap on the customer service desk assured us it would be fixed on the web page ... .Thanks.

Do not order from this company!! It will not arrive!!
Been waiting 3 weeks for a garden furniture set which was in stock. No replies to emails , no call backs when promised. Even a company director offered to look into the order and come back to me with an update and did not.
Finally got a delivery date , which has just been cancelled. Completely incompetent company, who gladly take your money for goods they seem unable to supply. Will be getting my money back on Monday and buy something local. The worst retail experience of my life ... stay clear, they will let you down!!!

Brought a pair of neoprene shoes for gardening for the father in laws birthday, and he loved them. Thanks

WHAT A SHAMBLES

I ordered two garden gates on 6th April 2019, the website offers delivery in 3-5 days – the first date I was offered was more than two weeks later. The gates were delivered and a few days later when preparing them for hanging, we noticed a very large crack which had completely splintered a whole section of the gate; it was not fit for purpose. I contacted Internet Gardener, providing an image of the cracked gate – no response, I contacted them again – no response, I emailed them via their website and received a response, acknowledging that they had received my emails but had been very busy(!!). I received an apology and an offer of a 5% refund because they had taken so long to respond as well as a replacement gate of course! Following that I heard nothing. I sent an email – no response, I sent another email – no response etc.

This is an online company and I had no option but to telephone them – nothing had been done, the gate had not been ordered and the person I had spoken to, the after-sales manager(!) had been off sick! Needless to say, I was less than happy with this service. The young woman I spoke to was very apologetic and tried her best to help, but the matter was made worse by the agreed delivery not being adhered to, a new mobile phone contact number not being used – it just goes on. A very long story short, the replacement gate was delivered on the 15th May when I was not at home to take delivery, but at least it’s now been replaced! Today I received a text to say that a delivery will be made on Monday!! Goodness knows what that will bring, but Iwon't be at home to accept delivery. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Needless to say, I would never use the services of either Internet Gardener or Forest Garden again

Shocking customer service - I wish I had read the reviews before ordering, we actually went to the store and ordered.
They charged us the wrong price then emailed asking for more money
Delivery was quoted as 2 weeks, most of the order has arrived after 2 months, many calls (rarely answered, never call back) and emails (occasional responses), still haven't got all of our order. Do not use this company.

I wish I had read about other people's experiences before ordering my garden furniture - mine has been the same as those other 1 star reviews and I've cancelled my order today (having no trust that I'll ever receive a refund). It sounded like the 'customer services' assistant was smirking at the other end of the phone and, as others have said, seemed to have no concern that my experience had been negative.

We highly recommend this company! Amazing service. VERY PROFESSIONAL.

Samantha, Sammi and Lee exceeded our expectations over 2 calls, especially Sammi, went out of her way to check that they would achieve the delivery date we desperately needed. Only 4 working days from order to delivery, just in time for the christening party :-)

The driver Mal was great, smiley, chatty, and the poor man had to push 3 very heavy boxes up a steep slope on his own just to get the boxes to a more convenient place for us, he didn't hesitate. What a star!!

The Dallas 8 seater garden set is exactly as we expected too. Wonderful. Only slight prob was the 3m parasol wasn't in stock which we didn't know about until delivery BUT Lee has promised to chase this for us. We're hopeful Lee will do all he can.

HAPPY to use INTERNET GARDENER again and give them 5 stars for this order.

We ordered the maze rattan oxford royal corner £1599 after checking it was actually in stock first, told delivery was currently 5 -10 days, i did contact them to just follow up as needed for a special occasion the staff were always extremely helpful, and it was delivered before the 5 days so we are very happy, would have been 5 stars but the only potential issue was we were not called to arrange a delivery day, thank fully we were home from work on the evening we got a voice message to say they would be with us within the hour.... not sure what would have happened if we had been out, however it was fine and the guys were very helpful even after a such long day as we were second to last drop at 6.45pm.

Order for Dallas Dining set received but incomplete parasol did not match and cover missing. promised to be delivered Thursday 16th May 2019 but nothing Whole experience disappointing to say least. lied to 3 out of 4 telephone conversatons by sales staff and no communication at all from warehouse re delivery. order orginally placed November 2018 but understood back order but not told when back in stock and since April when payment taken everything step has been torturous Company has no idea how to operate in the Eworld and It will not last long without improving its customer service

Loving my garden sofa delivered yesterday, they even set it up in my garden and took all the packing away, just need the sun to come back out now thanks for the greatcservice
