Definitely not transparent fees. Our budget increased by almost 30% from the initial estimated amount. This increase occurred on the day of the move, with the crew already in our home. Lack of experience and diligence from the sales team. Learning: a company that does not allow you to compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges. We incurred additional costs halfway through the process when it was no longer possible to hire another provider.

We were very pleased with IS&AS for our move from Virginia, USA to Germany. They were timely in their communications with us throughout the process, both on the US-side (shout to to Jeanine) and German-side (shout out to Kai). All the paperwork went through smoothly, including customs.

Our household goods were picked up on time and arrived promptly. The original estimated arrival at the port in Germany was July 28. It ended up being August 3, which was surprisingly on point.

The movers on both sides were friendly and careful with our things. Nothing was broken or damaged! Coming from a 2300 sq. ft. house's worth of things, that's pretty awesome. The German movers also picked up all the packaging a few days later, once we had unpacked our things. This was a very welcome service, given how tricky the waste collection situation can be in Germany.

We ended up having to pay for a little shuttle, since the container wouldn't have fit down our tiny street. Besides that though, all the other fees were included in the original quote.

We were terrified by all the negative reviews of international moving companies and the horror stories they contain. We were beyond pleased with IS&AS and would highly recommend them to others dealing with an international move.

Victor and his crew did an amazing job packing up our things in record time and our things made the journey from Sacramento to London in very good condition. I'm very grateful to all of them for their diligence. If they were the only part of the services I would have given them 5 stars.
As for the remainder of the experience, getting the initial quotation was great but then we were hit with so many additional charges the price went up 40%. Customer service was non-existent, I asked for clarification of some additional charges and was given the runaround, it was clear they didn't intend to follow up. When they have your things, you are stuck with paying up. Also, they don't collect the used boxes at the end of the service. We made a request to their UK partners and heard nothing back.
I've never personally arranged an international move before so I'm not sure if this is normal practice but if I ever did a move again I would avoid this company and take a chance with someone else.

Both my packers, Hector and Joel were quick and efficient. They condensed a truly unsightly number of loose items of all shapes and sizes into just a few tightly packed boxes with ease. Very friendly as well.

I scheduled my HHGs move for the 17th of March. They arrived early and on time. Very friendly and professional. Got everything packed up nicely and quickly without any damages. 10/10 service. Ralph and Memo were the movers. Definitely would reccomend them for anyone!

Sooo glad I found this company and used their service! Honestly I was so stressed out over my move and if all my boxes were going to get to me safely half way across the world. I have so say I seriously couldn’t be happier and couldn’t be more grateful. Robert was very responsible and helpful. He was very clear and professional in answering all my questions and patiently addressed my concerns. The tram that did the pick up was great and professional. Jeanine also responded to me when I emailed her to check on my status of the shipment, (I had 43 boxes) she always answered my promptly and keeping me posted on all the updates. I just finished opening all my boxes today. Everything was just as how I packed it. I feel so lucky that I came across this team.

Moved from NYC to croatia. Ripped me off going and coming with shuttle fees.
When my items arrived, items were missing and several boxes had the top items removed. Lost my electronic drum set in a large plastic bin with wheels. I guess I made it too easy to steal. Nothing worse than having ur personal belongings stolen.
They talk a good game but it's all BS.
