I worked with International Sea and Air Shipping to send my stuff from California to Bulgaria. Great job overall on both the American and Bulgarian (Orbit Ltd.) sides. I cannot imagine a thing that I might be complaining about. Special thanks to all the people who helped me with the shipping. Among them:

- Nelly Dimitrova from the Sofia office of Orbit Ltd. coordinated the process in Bulgaria.

Don’t bother with other companies! Everything was professional, transparent and smooth from quote, explaining the process, booking, pick up and delivery. We shipped a 20ft container from Florida to Australia with not one issue.

Considering now days shipping ISAS is the best choice anyone should take.Really happy with them.

Worst. Liars and scammers. When I asked for the quote, Peter was very kind and answered the phone at all hours. We needed to send our house from NY to Barcelona, ​​we asked him a thousand times if the budget was the closed price, if we would not have surprises with extra charges and he assured us that that price was closed and that we should not worry that there would be no extra charge. and we decided to do it with him. But after we signed the contract everything was changed. He stopped answering the phone and it took about 3 days to answer the emails, the budget that was $7,000 mysteriously increased $500 dollars the same day we were leaving because there was a logistics problem at the port. changed the same day we were leaving…But the big surprise has been now when the ship has arrived at the port of Barcelona and they tell us that we have to pay $2000 for ridiculous concepts such as - Difficult access to the property. I live in a house and you can enter the truck in it. - — Specialized shuttle truck to get to my house. 😱 that was already budgeted, is a door-to-door service.

Dear Jeanine and Ronnie,

We survived! Yesterday was monumental, and I want you both to know your team here in California was wonderful. Sal and his crew worked so hard in the blazing sun, I might add, from the time they hit the ground at 10:30 am until the paperwork was done at 7 pm.. The kids had sooo much stuff and I think Sal was a miracle Jenga Master to analyze it and figure out how to get it all in. They wrapped with care and speed, counted and labeled, heaved and hoed heavy boxes and tools, furniture and family treasures. There was a wonderful spirit among the three of them so they worked in a way that makes work an accomplishment, not a chore. This tone was set by Sal's leadership. He clearly knows his job and communicates it to his team, each man doing his part, with camaraderie, humor and efficiency. They were a joy to watch...even through my teary eyes as I adjust to this precious family moving so far away.

Thank you, Ronnie, for your many calls to keep me up to date as the process unfolded. (even to the point of falling asleep at your desk. Actually I don't know if you were at your desk...) but my point is THANK YOU. You are on the other side of the country, but beside me all the way.

Jeanine, thank you for responding always in a timely manner, and connecting me to the right person to handle my inquiries. I even heard from Avi again and he is the one who reeled me in originally with his kindness and sharing information into a world of shipping that was totally outside my experience.

I have every confidence that the Irish crew will be just as competent and enjoyable. Let's pray for calm seas and safe travel across the ocean. By the way, is there any way to track the progress of the vessel? Perhaps a website to see the ship's whereabouts? Name of vessel?..My husband is pretty geeky about following air traffic, so this is right down his alley. Enough.

Part 1 - My honest opinion of my experience so far with Intl Sea & Air Shipping. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had only 9 days (including a wknd) to organize shipping from Michigan to New Zealand. I sent out emails to a number of companies to get free quotes. Intl Sea & Air Shipping did not respond right away. I engaged with one of the companies that did reply to my urgent rqst. I was all set to cfm the shipment with them. They were very easy and prompt to work with. I don't know why, but I decided to check reviews for that company. SO glad I did, they had maybe 3 good reviews and about 25+ really bad reviews from the past 5yrs. I had already spent 3days working with them to realize I needed to use another company. I sent an even more urgent email out to 3 additional companies, including another one to ISAS. I liked the ISAS website and information provided there. I now only had 6days (again including a wknd) left to get a quote, go over details, organize packing, pickup, shipping etc, before I flew out to NZ myself on 06April22. An impossible feat most would say! That was until Hillary from ISAS stepped in. What a godsend of an employee ! She was so efficient, knowledgeable, honest with her opinions, very easy to deal with. Her phone manner and professionalism was superb. She explained things very well and put in so much effort to get this shipment sorted out in the limited time. The last week of my time in Michigan was very stressful, plus the normal stress of shipping internationally. With Hillary's help so much of that stress was put to rest. Don't know what I would have done without her as my advisor! My shipment left the house on 5April22. I realize with the current worldwide shipping industry problems (limited containers, staff and space) there will be some delay before I rcv the shipment in NZ. I am optimistic and remain hopeful all will work out as planned. I'll write a follow-up part two review as my shipment progresses.

I have now used International Sea & Air Shipping twice. First time from UK to US during covid in 2020 when the shipping industry had constant delay issues worldwide. ISAS let me know before booking of this industry issue and yes there was a delay but my sales person was in constant contact with me along with the admin office and even a quick call from the owner which really made me feel taken care of…
Second shipment took place in 2022 and everything went smoothly (post covid). I had a small window of time to ship/receive items and I receive my items not only on-time but a 2 days early! 👍.

Excellent and reliable company. We sent stuff from Florida to Italy. Everything was managed perfectly, costumer service was very active, responsive and helpful. We were updated constantly and our goods arrived in perfect condition. Highly recommend.

I can highly recommend this company.I had a large painting shipped from Germany to Arizona by air. Everybody involved was professional, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Great customer focused experience.

Excellent service all round regarding value, pick-up and delivery. Goods were in same condition from start to finish.

Great moving experience! Especially considering their performance during pandemic disruptions, International Sea & Air Shipping is now always going to be my first choice for container shipments.

My move was from US to Russia, not the easiest route even in normal times. But everything went on without a problem! It did take longer than initially expected, but the staff at IS&AS has been helpful in providing time estimates and updates on the status of the shipment. Their partners at loading and unloading points were also very professional companies, pleasure to work with.

A special note for those, looking to get full-service move - while I'm sure IS&AS would offer full-service move of great quality, I have picked them specifically because they also offer partial service, meaning I packed and unpacked all of my stuff and furniture myself. IS&AS picked up my packed items from my storage unit, which was the size of 20ft container, and delivered them to be unloaded in a similar storage unit at destination. For those of you who don't mind or would prefer to pack and unpack your stuff yourselves - International Sea & Air is the absolute way to go!

The staff were very understanding and efficient. I chose to ship by air to the usa, so I avoided a lot of covid/sea trouble. Sorry guy's but unfortunately my shipment boxes were damaged severely, the pickup company did their best to put them back together, but some items were missing or broken. I recommend you either ship in tea chests (unscathed) or pay for some sturdier boxes. I'd love to have added a photo.

I cannot rave enough about our experience with International Sea & Air Shipping. From our first encounter by email to the delivery of our household in France 22 months later (thank you, Covid!), they and their associates were professional, friendly, efficient, and everything anyone could need for such a daunting task. I wish I knew more people who were moving internationally, so that I could recommend them to everyone!

Would never use any other shipping company. International Shipping is the best in all areas, details, service, communications, staffing, and respectful in all dealings.

They took my belongings, then put them in storage unit. That is where they still sit, over two months later, still there. They have lied repeatedly as to when it will ship. Every two weeks there is a new lie. DONT USE THEM! NOT TRUSTWORTHY AT ALL!!! It’s not that I wasn’t understanding of a wait. I was. Telling your customer that they have a “confirmed” shipping date, then after that telling them a series of excuses as to why they haven’t shipped is poor business practice. Now I am trying to get my belongings released from their subcontractor and use another shipper. The owner is adding charges to the contract, and trying to double bill me. If you value your belongings, pick someone else to move them. At this point I worry I will never see my belongings again.

I recently moved from San Antonio, TX to Athens, Greece. International Sea & Air Shipping moved my stuff door to door and I am very satisfied with the whole moving experience. They offered a very competitive price, answered all my questions thoroughly prior to me signing the contract, and kept me updated throughout the process including the expected arrival date. Their affiliate in Athens handled both the customs clearance and the delivery to my apartment, and did an excellent job. I’d definitely use International Sea & Air Shipping again.
