Very efficient service. Posted an ancient 1+1 phone with a broken screen and it was returned by post with a new screen superior to the original. I highly recommend their speed of communication and reliability. what they say in their e-mails actually happens on time with no fuss. Fully recommend.

I submitted my phone via post for a battery replacement and received it back on the 4th working day. It was a painless process and communication was good throughout. The battery life of my 2 year old phone has almost doubled so it was definitively worth the money.
You need to provide access to your phone so they can test it before sending it back, but it can also be reset if you don't want to give out your PIN/password. Just remember to take a backup before you send it in.

This review does not come lightly, as I tried my utmost to resolve the issue and find a suitable, reasonable solution with this firm - but the service was ultimately pretty dreadful.
We wanted to sell an iPhone 7 Plus but it had water damage and wasn’t turning on. After some research we read that iMend offered a ‘no fix, no fee’ if our phone could not be fixed. After 2 days of sending it in we had a text to call them. Shocked at the result ‘we couldn’t fix it but there’s no refund’. They claimed it was clear on the website, now I’m a relatively observant gent but yet I could not find this information on the website; it was misleading to say the least. Only when you go to purchase the repair it has a disclaimer on the right hand side of the page, but it wasn’t bold, clear or underlined.
When I questioned it and said it was a genuine misunderstanding and it really isn’t clear on the website, Mack agreed and said they are in the process of changing it, thus admitting the concerns. Went to their ‘management’ for review, but came back later that day stating Mack said there was no chance of a refund, which was very alarming. This was untrue and not professional. I argued the point, Michelle who claimed to be customer services manager, said there is nothing they can do after a 2nd review.
Admittedly, it should be the discretion of iMend to refund as there was a disclaimer on the site. However, it isn’t clear and I strongly believe they know how to make a quick buck. Their professionalism was lacking and unfortunately they never even provided a report of what was wrong with the phone - taking the £42 for themselves with no update.
I asked 3 times if I could speak to their management without avail, I got the feeling there was no ‘management’ and seemed like a one-man band with different names replying to mask the issue.
Terrible - do not use and currently filing for a refund with the financial ombudsman.
05.08 Received your reply thank you. I am happy to share the emails to anybody who needs as I’ve been Fair and honest. Again, I am not questioning and never have the detail on your website, I am merely suggesting that you enhance the visibility of the clause or highlight it, as it’s particularly hard to find! I also wanted to physically speak on the phone to management to relay my point which clearly has been missed. I never had the chance and wasn’t able to.
Very disappointed, still not understanding my point. For the sake of £35 it is a crying shame that an honest customer mistaking the clause due to it not being visible enough, is a decent point made. One also agreeable by your staff.

I am writing an update to the review below. Whilst almost impossible to believe that the experience could get worse, iMend have now effectively admitted to lying about their capability to retrieve the booking information. Subsequent to the review below they got in touch and DID finally retrieve the booking - which they had previously claimed they could not find without the original order number. (In 3 prior emails). They now claim that because we are now outside the warranty period that they can do nothing - even though they fully acknowledge I contacted them earlier. Had they provided the information they have provided now (which they claimed they could not) then they would have honoured the guarantee -but now, because of a delay caused by their false claim that they could not locate the information, they say they cannot. It seems remarkably like this was to avoid honouring a warranty. They have offered me a "10% discount" if I pay again for a service which I have already paid over GBP 100 for, and which they have failed to provide. I had offered to pay 50% of the cost of an entirely new order, to expedite. (ie Already paying for 1.5x repairs or in fact in total over 2x the current cost of a screen).
The legal helpline for my insurers have informed me that this should be a valid legal claim. It is a shame that ZenDesk think that the right solution is to invite a legal claim for their own errors.
