Replacement process has been painfully slow. It’s been nearly a month since I first reported the issue and I still don’t have working lights.

After installation one indicator started flashing rapidly after only a few days. I contacted support and was told to buy an additional relay at my own expense.

Support asked me to send multiple videos, photos, and voltage tests before helping. Felt like they were trying to delay things until I gave up.

International shipping took forever and I was hit with customs fees I wasn’t warned about. Returning the faulty product would cost almost as much as the original order.

The DRL modules worked perfectly for a month and then started triggering adaptive headlight errors on startup. My installer confirmed the issue was coming from the supplied modules.

Customer service was polite at first but completely stopped replying once I asked for a refund. Been waiting over two weeks now with no update.

The build quality feels very cheap considering the price. Clips broke during installation and I had to modify parts just to make them fit properly.

Bought rear LED indicators that were advertised as plug-and-play. They definitely were not. Needed extra resistors and additional wiring that wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the website.

One module was dead on arrival. I reported it the same day but was asked to repeat the same tests multiple times before they would even consider a replacement.

Received a replacement set under warranty but the new lights didn’t match the brightness or colour of the originals. Now the car looks uneven and support says it’s “within tolerance.

The RGB kit arrived with almost no instructions. My mechanic spent hours trying to work out the wiring. Support only replied once every few days which made the process even worse.

Paid a premium price expecting quality, but the bulbs overheated and caused hyper flashing almost immediately. Had to remove them because I didn’t trust them in the car anymore.

Bought RGB DRL modules for my BMW and one side stopped working after about 5 weeks. Installer confirmed the module had failed internally. Customer support kept asking for more videos and tests even after the fault was obvious. Still waiting on a proper replacement.

Do not buy here. I purchased the RBG daily running lights and within a couple months broken. Pure rubbish and over priced. Support and making it near impossible to send a new one. By looking at the reviews here i am not the only one affected. Cheaper on Alibaba for the same thing

I bought RGB DRL modules for my BMW M340i LCI from iilumo and got them installed by a reputable automotive shop, and it worked initially.

About a month later the car started showing lighting system/headlight errors on startup and it disabled auto high beams.

iilumo agreed the module is likely faulty and offered a replacement part, but refused to cover any labour to remove/reinstall the replacement. In my opinion, this is against Australian Consumer Law, as the need for the reinstall came about due to the failing module sold by iilumo and marketed as being error free and requiring no coding.

I purchased their RGB LED Module. I paid for express shipping to the USA. The item took 1 week to arrive. I had the item professionally installed. Once installed, it was discovered that one of the lights didn't work properly. Instead of sending me another kit, they made me do a bunch of tests, and send them videos and pics, and I still haven't received a replacement. Very Poor customer service, and not accommodating. Their approach seems to be to wear you down by requiring many tests, until you give up on getting a replacement item. This company charges top dollar for their products, and delivers a subpar product, with no instructions, and they don't care about the aggregation or inconvenience they cause; not to mention the loss of time and money when dealing with them. I am sorry that I bought this faulty product. Buyer beware.

After a month-long wait for international shipping, I realized I had fallen into a trap. I purchased a star headliner kit only to discover I had paid double for a blatant dropshipped item—a generic Chinese product with a logo engraved on it to feign authenticity.
The build quality is low and feels cheap to the touch. The kit also arrives nearly unusable. It includes no proper wiring, only a tiny, poor-quality 12v wire. For a proper installation, the company itself recommends buying a separate hardwire kit, adding a significant extra cost to an already overpriced item.
The final insult is the impracticality of making a return. I have already paid non-refundable customs fees. On top of the original shipping costs, I would also have to pay for the return shipping out of my own pocket.
My final recommendation: if you are an international buyer, find a better, more local alternative. The inflated price, combined with shipping fees, non-refundable customs charges, and a difficult return policy, makes this a terrible deal for anyone ordering from overseas.

The service was amazing and the finished product was a perfect fit and was very easy for the auto electrician to install. It has transformed my 2014 Subaru Forester and has brought it bang up to date!

Kommunikation war schwierig, manchmal warten man Tage auf eine Antwort. Das Produkt RGB DRL für BMW ist China Produkt, ohne Anleitung. Die App verbindet sich schlecht mit dem Controller und manchmal verliert die Verbindung. Qualität sehr schlecht, es haben dich an der Platine schon die Kontakte gelöst und dadurch funktionieren die Lichter nicht mehr. Für die Reklamation will Iilumo Geld haben was ich nicht einsehen, und den Versand muss man selber bezahlen.

Awesome product and great customer service. I made a mistake and ordered the incorrect led and iilumo let me exchange them for correct version. I updated all my mx5 lights to led. Night and day difference, no pun intended.
