I had the fabulous opportunity to see the Galapagos Islands with International Expeditions. The trip was amazing and mostly due to the attention to details by International Expeditions. The IE reps made sure that everyone on the trip was creating an experience and a memory - from the two kids who were surrounded by all adults, to the person who cut their foot and was unable to hike for two of the days. Our guides were all very experienced and really knew the islands and their inhabitants, however, they shared every experience with us as if it was brand new and exciting to themselves as well. I look forward to another International Expeditions experience in the future. They are awesome!

We had a wonderful time and were pleased with special efforts made to accommodate us after our arrival was delayed because of severe weather in El Paso. Our accommodations were splendid, our guides outstanding and the meals were delicious and tastefully presented. The hikes and boat trips through jungle and cloud forest were experiences to be cherished and long remembered. We highly recommend it to anyone considering such an adventure..

I have traveled with International Expeditions for over 35 years. In a nutshell, I wouldn't be doing that unless they were the best at what they do. IE has a great staff, always willing to spend the extra time to assure your trip is exactly what you want it to be. IE hires only the best local guides throughout the world. Any trip that you would choose with International Expeditions will provide you with an experience you will cherish and a whole lot of fun!

I have traveled with IE at least 6 times and have experienced nothing but very high satisfaction with all aspects of the trips. The guides are exceptional. They have solid knowledge of the cultures and of the natural history of the area. They are organized and always congenial, and go out of their way to meet any special needs or requests of individual travelers. Accommodations are comfortable, clean, and well situated in the site of the visit. Transportation, be it bus or boat, fully meets the needs of the passengers. I look forward to my IE travels knowing I will be extremely happy with my trip experience.

We had an outstanding adventure with International Expeditions. Nine days in the Amazon that went beyond all of our expectations. Our boat, the Zafiro, was the perfect combination of utility and elegance. Our naturalist guides were knowledgeable in all aspects of the jungle rainforest, our tour coordinator was the perfect host and the staff aboard the Zafiro were joyful and kind in delivering superlative service. If there was one suggestion to share it would be to provide better protection from the afternoon sun for the third floor gathering room as it gets really warm in there for lectures on a sunny day. Otherwise perfect. Thanks for the opportunity to share our thoughts. We now have a cadry of Amazon memories to never forget... MH

IE trip to Panama and Costa Rica. The trip was fantastic. Great guides and activities, excellent accommodations. Lots of fun and new and unforgettable experiences. Bring your sense of adventure!

IE Amazon River trip was wonderful! Amazing Staff and breathtaking nature. The Naturalists were great they really seemed to enjoy spending time with us and they were great at pointing out nature and illustrating with personal anecdotes and stories. I am not one to count how many birds I see but their enthusiasm spilled over and I became a birder! Love the monkeys, sloths and pink dolphins we saw frequently! The staff on board was kind and and attentive the concerts at night were a highlight. I loved the passion and graciousness of all the staff.

We used IE to book a private tour for 10 to Cuba in January 2017. Overall the trip was terrific--educational, insightful, and memorable. And I suspect that my areas of concern relate more to the fact that we were going to Cuba than circumstances under IE's control, but there were a couple of minor hitches that I would want other travelers to understand.

However, the successes outweighed any inconveniences. IE found us an amazing villa in Havana, secured drivers and comfortable, modern air-conditioned vans for our entire week in Cuba (including 3 nights in Vinales, and 4 in Havana), and a very enthusiastic, helpful, and engaging guide. We saw sights I think many visitors wouldn't get to see, and got the chance to meet and talk with a variety of Cuban citizens that made the entire trip very interesting.

We did IE's Amazon boat trip for 9-10 days in April. It was absolutely fabulous. We were so happy that we selected IE instead of the other leading competitor that we considered (no names mentioned)!

The flora/fauna were wonderful. The Zafiro boat was excellent. The 3 guides were absolutely tops. There were 2 naturalists and one overall Expedition Leader (Dennis Osirio), who were completely knowledgeable; excellent communicators; flexible with individual needs and wishes; funny and kind; and just overall great guys to spend time with.

My husband and I have done many nature-related trips/tours. This company put together a flawless trip--from hotels to transportation to Amazon experience.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. Tours, hikes, snorkeling, panga rides, accommodations, food, and especially the guides were all exceptional.

Company has some good trips at good prices, but it is NOT top of the line so be aware of what you are buying. You get what you pay for.

Great Peruvian Amazon trip on the M/V Zafiro with International Expeditions and their partner boat operator, Jungle Experiences. The expedition leader and naturalists were talented, entertaining, and real professionals. The individual members of the boat crew were, without exception, kind, attentive, and skilled. The trip went off without a hitch and the attention of the entire M/V Zafiro service team to every small detail along the way made this a perfect and memorable adventure from start to finish. This is a top-notch operation and the unwavering commitment of everyone involved to ensuring a safe, luxurious, and personalized experience made this week on the Amazon a journey that my family and I will not soon forget.
