it took months to actually receive the item after multiple follow ups on when it would be shipped. then, when i went to get the item installed, the electrician said he refused to do it because it was not UL certified (which is required in the US). i also noticed that the light fixture had started getting discolored (greenish) and was tarnishing and leaving a ring where it had been sitting while waiting to be installed. the customer service team refused to do anything about any of this and tried blaming it on me, saying it must be stored in a damp environment (which it wasnt). terrible experience!

response to their note below- they did not ask for a picture of the discoloration which i am still happy to provide. it was not discolored when i received it but would definitely not expect it to tarnish within a year of having it. they clearly had no interest in fixing the issue so are trying to put the blame back on me

Digusting, vile company. I ordered something and after 12 days, I had to chase up with them about when it was arrived. It finally arrived broken, scuffed and barely fit for purpose as a decorative item. All communication stopped when I asked for an explanation, and then after I left a google review, they denied that the item was bought from their site.

I was looking for a certain item and ideas4lighting had it and the delivery was within 3 working days.
Id give them a big👍

I received prompt and helpful answers to my questions about some of their products. They have a wonderful diverse range of products. I found just what I was looking for.

I had been looking for lamps for a long time and found exactly what I had been looking for on ideas4lighting.com. They arrived promptly and were even more gorgeous than on the website. Unfortunately one was damaged but the company offered to replace it straightaway without any delay. I would rate this company five star across product choice, price and customer service. Thanks

I recently made a purchase on this website and within 7 days communicated I would need to cancel it. This was fine per the instructions on the product page that said "You have the right to cancel your order within 7 days using the cancellation form attached to the Order Confirmation email."

After speaking with a customer service rep, they let me know this is not true information per the terms of services I signed (a small link buried in walls and walls of text as part of the sign out flow) which mentioned I couldn't return anything "custom made"

As you can see, this is purposely misleading and honestly a lawsuit waiting to happen. If you are unable to cancel an item within 7 days, it should be stated on the product page. 

I would not recommend purchasing from a place with such dishonest communication practices.

Timely delivery, easy online ordering process, pictures and product information thorough.

Ordered two light pendants at the end of June. I was told these would arrive in September due to a delay.
A week before September ends, no update and no delivery, so I reach out and chase this up. I’m told a further 2-4 weeks, taking us to 24th October.

24th October arrives - no delivery, no update. I chase this up and I’m told the delivery should be this week.

After 3 days of no communication, I’ve just received an email confirming they’ve fully refunded me and their ticketing system in which they use to communicate with customers has been broken, hence the radio silence.

What an absolute Mickey Mouse company. Not only have they messed me about for 4 solid months, I’m the one that’s had the chase for updates and in the most recent email confirming my refund, there wasn’t even so much as an apology.

Do not order from this company - absolute waste of time with zero customer service skills!

Ordered a set of 2 light & living side tables. Unfortunately they arrived damaged, with a large patch of the black metal material chipped off the worktop and chips to the paintwork on the legs. I believe this may have been caused during delivery as the tables had little protective packaging so could scratch/knock against each other in transit. I completed the faulty item declaration form and sent it to the customer service team along with photos. Ideas4Lighting acknowledged the damage and offered a 10% partial refund and said some paint could fix the problem. However I rejected this as the tables were too expensive to require DIY and instead wanted them to organise a return/collection and issue a full refund as per the faulty item T&Cs. Ideas4lighting then stated that the table is meant to be "rustic" and following further investigation and talks with the supplier will now not consider the tables as faulty. I need to pay out of my own pocket to return the item which following the back and forth via emails (as you can’t contact them via telephone unless it’s for sales) is now out of the 30 day returns! The item is clearly damaged and not as pictured or described. I did write a product review directly onto the ideas4lighting website but it was never published. Extremely disappointed, but after reading reviews it seems that anyone with a faulty product has issues with getting refunded.

I was thrilled to find sconces that were unavailable everywhere else I had looked.
I was able to order & receive EXACTLY what I'd been looking for for soo long.
The product and the service was excellent.
I highly recommend.

We bought large gold/ glass wall clock. We did wait until price came down as it was expensive. We were told we had a few weeks to wait for delivery. Very happy with communication from 4 lighting and quality of Large wall clock. It definitely has added elegance to our living space.

I searched google for some specific make\model cabinet puck lights after my kitchen supplier ran out of stock. I needed some additional units and found ideas for lighting who had them in stock and also were just under half the price of the ones I purchased from kitchen supplier. The order process was simple and straightforward and the lights were delivered in good time and well packaged.

I recommend this family run company and will definately use them again..in fact I will be browsing their web site for an ' Kitchen Island' light pendant soon.

This flush ceiling lamp is beautiful! We have had building delays and so it is still in the box, but I can't wait to see it up! The soft hues of grey/blues and orange/blushes really give this lamp an artful look. While it took longer to receive, since it was coming from England, it was worth the wait. Their communication around shipping was clear, and it arrived completely in tact.

Great quality product, really well made and at a realistic price too. Bit of a lead time on them but that was made clear from the outset so was no surprise. Overall it was drama free
