H.Samuel - Bedford Anmeldelser 

My wife and I went into H Samuel Bedford on 19/082026 to get some new links inserted into her Sekonda watch. A trainee assistant referred us to her manager who was on the phone. We waited in front of her manager, who did not acknowledge us, but just kept on talking for several minutes. I set a timer, after which we would have left, but the manager finished on the phone just before the timer went.

This was our third visit relating to the matter. The first time, a previous assistant took the details, said the service would be free, and promised to contact us when she had obtained the links, but never did. The second time we went in, we were told they no longer partnered with Sekonda, so we would have to pay a fee.

So, when the manager finally got off the phone, I explained that I was happy to pay for the links, and asked my wife to show her wrist, so we could determine how many links we needed. The manager simply replied that they could not help, because they do not keep a tape measure in the shop. That was clearly an absurd and ridiculous excuse. As H Samuel does sell watches and must sometimes have to adjust the straps, I inferred that she simply couldn't be bothered because this would not a be high value sale.

We previously bought our wedding rings at the shop, and, for example, my wife had bought a ring there for over £1,000 ( but which some time later another jeweller would only pay £150 for).

In summary, we find the new staff rude and unhelpful, and we no longer trust the brand. Needless to say, we will never stop there again.

We ordered a ring from your MK store to be delivered to Bedford Store Joe was great, however, the order was cancelled called MK store customer service was awful, told to get refund from Bedford store.
Karrieanne and Janice excellent customer service could not do enough to resolve our issue, other assistants did help, sorry I did not get your names. Bedford store credit to your company. Customer service department call was also handled in a professional way. MK store except for Joe was a let down.

I am impressed with the service I received at my Bedford store when returning and online pruchase and subsequently purchasing another item. The return was dealt with quickly and efficiently and the refund in my acount within two days. Janice, who helped me decide on another necklace had infinite patience with me without being at all pushy. What treat to have an actual shop to go in.

I brought a watch for my daughter. After a few months, the watch kept on stopping and restarting, however it was proved that it was not due to the battery ⁰but I had taken out a insurance plan.
When I went to to H Samuel, I was met by Janice. Janice greeted me immediately and had tried to put the transaction through the till, however she needed further assistance. The Manager-Kerieanne came to help.
Kerieanne was fast, efficient and her service was exceptional.
Both Kerieanne and Janice made every effort to complete the transaction by continually communicating and giving me reassurance.

Avoid this store at all costs unless you want to be spoken to and treated disgustingly. My wedding ring broke straight down the middle and whilst it was sent for repair on return 4 weeks later it was missing a stone, it also had another imperfection which was noted for repair, back it went again to be returned to me a further 2 and a bit weeks later, this time it looked even worse, shocking repair where the claw was left sharp and jagged, the imperfection was still present not bothered to be looked at and the repair had clear glue around it and looked terrible, this time I was dealt with by a different manager with long blonde hair who was shocking rude and argumentative when I told her my concerns with my ring and how upsetting this was given the fact it now looks worse than when I dropped this into them. She was completely dismissive and told me it looks fine nothing wrong and there’s nothing they can do. This simply is unacceptable, I know my ring better than anyone and to be treated like this is shocking. I’ve reached out to customer service, no help either so next step is trading standards. I pay insurance for my ring every month and had I known I would be treated like this I would have shopped elsewhere. Shame on you all for treating a customer like this.

Went to the Bedford store to select our Wedding rings. Excellent selection. Was helped by a wonderful lady Janice. Very helpful. We found her friendly, welcoming, very cheerful, which is helpful selecting our rings.. Fully explained insurance cover which was very reasonably priced. We would highly recommend this jeweller's, and will use this store again. Thank you to both the ladies for your help, and making us feel at ease.

Really helpful and knowledgeable member of staff, Janice, who gave exceptional service regarding a watch I liked but which was too small for my wrist. Janice contacted Citizen who agreed to send out two free links to lengthen the wristband. Most impressed. Thank you so much.

Janice, Supervisor, who works in the Bedford branch could not have been more helpful. She attended to us straight away despite being in the middle of completing some administration. Patient and informative she possesses super customer service skills and knowledge. I was looking for a replacement gold neck chain for my son, she advised us on a like for like chain and also gave us the great news that the Cyber day was active so gave us 25% off! Lovely shopping experience!

December 23 broke again
Very cheap quality for a few
Hundred quid - very disappointed
