Great customer service with kind helpful staff..

I went into H Samuel’s Barnsley store today. Looking for a present for my sister, I was helped by a gentleman called Chris. He was polite and showed a genuine interest in what I had gone in for. I got what I wanted, and sent my warranty to me by email

Went into the Barnsley Store and was served by a lovely Gentleman called Chris.
Chris helped me start the order, get everything ready while I has to go for an appointment and was waiting with everything in place when I returned.
Although the ring size was not available in-store, it only took 4 days to arrive, and when I returned to collect it Chris was working again.
I was nice to see him and one of the other staff who I had spoken to previously while I was thinking about replacing the ring I chose.
Overall, the experience was excellent, it was nice to see that age and gender were not biased when selecting a new store colleague.
Chris had excellent support from Lydia while going through the sale with me.
And I can only say thank you.
The ring is exactly what I needed.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding a Sterling Silver 0.12ct Diamond Illusion Set Tennis Bracelet that I received in December. Unfortunately, the bracelet broke in January. I returned it to the Meadowhall store, where it was replaced without any issues. However, the bracelet snapped again in May under similar circumstances.

When I took it to the Barnsley store, I was informed that it needed repairs because it had been “pulled.” I disagree with this assessment. Despite my concerns, I proceeded with the initial repair, which cost £36. Now, the store is requesting an additional £56 to complete the repair, which I find unreasonable, as this amount is nearly half of what I originally paid for the bracelet, and I believe there may be an underlying issue with its design and i would a refund or replacement so i have raised complaint.

Always find H Samuel to be of good quality. this is the first time i have bought from them online i found the process of buying very easy

Had an excellent experience today at the Barnsley store! My fiancè proposed to me last week in Greece and unfortunately the ring was slightly big so we went to the store today and staff were happy to help, ordered one for us in the below size and spent time talking to us and answering some questions we had around insurance. Penny was lovely and also helped with links in my watch. There was also a staff member whose name I didn't catch that spent time while we were waiting asking about our holiday and engagement which was so nice! Thank you!

Attended Barnsley branch as strap has broken on my old watch, very friendly and helpful staff, obviously experienced in this issue, and knowledgeable, immediately identified the colour and patern of my existing strap, and swiftly switched to a new copy, and suggested a slightly larger strap my existing one (I will admit that my wrist is probably larger than when I first got my watch having passed 80 years old I am slowing down and not in the same shame I once was), was the perfect advice, and would just like to share my appreciate for the staff and my experience on this visit.

Wife bought me a £700 watch for my 50th birthday - when she collected(purchased online and selected store delivery) she was given the display model - had links missing - returned for refund and wont be returning for any future purchases

Excellent service. Went in just to have a look for our wedding rings. The member of staff was brilliant allowing us to try on rings and made it feel totally safe with cleaning etc in between. She was very knowledgeable and helped us to chose appropriate rings. We left very happy with our purchases. Thank you !
