I have both the basic solo unit, and the enhanced unit with remote control. I LOVE both units, BUT my Delux unit will now only hold a charge for 5-10 minutes.... not nearly long enough anymore.... Is there anything I should do to rectify this, or is it just planned obsolescence and I should now buy the new unit???

Not very pleasurable. The orgasm was not very great.

Seemingly good products - but customer service that could only be described as “churlish”. They sent me the wrong item and the return process was painful. I had to open the box to be find out what they had actually sent (since the packing slip and the box showed conflicting information). While they ultimately replaced the item with the one I had actually ordered, the process was convoluted and the representative seemed far more interested in assigning blame rather than addressing the problem created by them sending the wrong item.

Jazz was fantastic, replaced my defective item, was super friendly and followed up to make sure all my problems were solved.

Some how double or triple test the toys prior to packaging and shipping, to eliminate my Wife's or other customers poor experience, and my very unpleasant feelings. I tried to pre charge the toy, no matter what I did I could not get the toy to work. I had to purchase a similar toy locally to keep my Wife happy. Yes my Wife threw away the Pluse Queen in frustration before I could attempt to return the toy.

So I purchased a New Hot Octopus due to previous version charging port was broken after two years of use. I had an issue with the latest version not charging after the initial Charge. So i contacted Cheryl at Customer Service. She was nothing short of Spectacular in responding to my inquiry. She went step by step explaining the difference between the older model and the newer one with respect to the upgraded charging port. I was charging it within minutes !!!! If this wasn't enough the new design is even more comfortable and quieter than the one I replaced!!!!

I had a user error with my order and the CS rep helped me solve it easily.

For a little background:
I am a disabled vet who suffers from erectile dysfunction and anorgasmia due to nerve damage. So even when I can get erect (usually with pharma assistance) It is very difficult indeed to achieve orgasm.

My once fairly active sex life with my wife has become non-existent over the last couple of years as it has just been too much frustration to even attempt.
Of course this does not mean that my sex drive has completely gone; rather it simply means that I tend to keep my frustrating attempts fewer in number and solo affairs.

I have tried a few toys to try now and then and they have also been sources of frustration.

My latest purchase however is the Hot Octopuss Jett; and that is one worth writing about!

I purchased this due to it's touted ability to induce orgasm even with a flaccid penis; and hands-free.
I was skeptical to be sure; but after months of mulling it over (and trying cheaper toys, due to not wanting to spend much money on something that would not work anyway) I happened to see the Jett on a Valentines Day sale and purchased.

Good news first:
This really feels nice!
I did have to crank it up all the way with both the bass and treble vibes, due to nerve damage-related loss of sensitivity but it did produce some very very pleasant sensations.
Essentially this manifested as an extended edging session as I was taken close, ever closer to orgasm numerous times; before finally over the edge to the first orgasm I have experienced in several months.

A couple of quirks that I wish were better:
The wired remote is very old school; although I understand the reason for it, as the remote is essentially the power bank for the vibes.
But, the wires could be a little longer. One of the "OMG I think I might be coming" moments was in fact ruined by the remote sliding off my stomach and unto the floor, disconnecting the wires.
At full power, it is a little loud. Definitely would need to keep that in mind if you wanted to be discreet.

Those are but minor disappointments however. All in all I am quite pleased.

Wanted to share my experience for the sake of any others out there who may be similarly affected by a thoroughly uncooperative organ.

They truly want their customers to enjoy their products and furthermore go above and beyond to provide not only great service but equally great products.

Jazz provided professional but friendly prompt replies (usually within one business day). Easy troubleshooting questions determined I needed a replacement device. Fast replacement once confirmed. Took just over one week from my first email to replacement being received.

Cheryl from support was a great help. I had an issue with my product under warranty and she helped me out and got me a replacement part shipped ASAP. A+ customer service.

I’ve had mixed experiences with Hot Octopuss. Their customer service, especially Jazz, was very helpful and quick to address an issue with my product, even arranging a replacement that arrived promptly. However, the product design has some flaws, like tight finger loops and awkwardly placed buttons, and my packaging arrived damaged, which was disappointing. Overall, it’s an okay experience—not perfect, but not terrible either.

Welp, I had dome trouble charging the items and wanted to immediately return as they are pricey. Got online and requested info regarding how to return faulty items. Cheryl was "on it" right away. Sent me videos to help me understand how to charge/use. Was adamant they were faulty but I was WRONG. Had to send additional email to apologize for my impatience. Cheryl was so warm and engaging through the whole exchange. Her boss needs to give her a raise as customer service employees of her caliber are very rare. Thank upi Cheryl!:)

I personlly own 4 octopuss toys: pulse solo essential, atom plus, plex, and atom and I have no interest in purshing from this company ever again because of the lousy customer service. I am a male near 50 years old and need reading glasses. In poor lighting condition its hard for me to see minute things and that includes the "hidden" charging port of most of the toys. As a result, I broke at least two of them. Out of frustration, in July 2024, I wrote an email to the customer service and let them know that the way they design their products were not very friendly to people who need extra lightling to see the charging port. Then I got a response from a female customer representative who educated me that I am suppoed to be charging my toys in a well lit room (yes, right, lady, please tell me that you charge your vibarators in a well lit room in the open) and gave me a whole bunch of technical details. I felt dismissed. Upon learning how I felt, the representative went on and told me that my frustration and mistake "suggest[ed] a lack of care". Though the representative offered to replace my ruined toy, I am no longer interested in the product made by this company. Yes and when I suggested the represenatitve to show our chain of email to her manager and the answer was the manager had been involved since the first reply and was at a loss to what the frustration is. Thank you for making me feel old and inferior, Octopuss. Your product is not made age friendly and when I expressed my frustration, the representatie dumped a whole bunch of techinical details on me. Good bye. I will no longer buy your products again.

They are very responsive to my questions and quick to respond

No return, not satisfied with product. Sexual satisfaction policy is purposely layed out right under the return section to make it look like they will do returns.

I’m a diabetic who’s also had a heart attack and physically disabled since an accident 20 odd years ago, as a consequence following the heart attack the old chap no longer stood to attention and I had limited feeling there. I thought ok let’s give it a go. Seconds out- round one all was going swimmingly the fact that I was flaccid didn’t matter at all, then just as I was getting there the bloody battery ran out! Arrrgh.
My mate thought it was hilarious.
Seconds out round two, I had another try but tightened my grip pushing the two wings onto my helmet and pushing my penis’s frenulum onto the pulse plate… then…boom! Elvis left the building in a hell of a hurry. I had purchased a Hot Octopuss product eight months previously that suddenly stopped working, and I was uncertain about the degree to which the company would stand behind its product when I contacted Customer Service.

I immediately received a friendly reply from Jazz, who assured me that she would seek the fastest possible solution for me once I answered a series of troubleshooting questions. Once it was clear that there was nothing I could do to get the device working again, she made arrangements to ship me a replacement device without any kind of hassle or complicated paperwork.

I was so impressed by her helpfulness that I placed a purchase order for yet an additional device even though I had just experienced a product failure with my prior purchase. My rationale was that it was a great product and that if I had any problems with either of my new devices (either the replacement that Jazz sent me or the additional device I subsequently purchased), I could rely Jazz -- or hopefully one of her colleagues -- to assist me. She is a great representative of the product support and policy integrity of Hot Octopuss.
